Does anyone know what song the guy playing the guitar was singing?
The Devonshire troop ship.
Does anyone know any details of the retirement village mentioned towards the end of the film?

Sorry crownhill
Thank you :) one of our friends suggested that so we popped up there to look and I think you're right! Very interesting film!
The Devonshirre troop ship
Anyone name the swing music played?
If you mean the music that starts about 19.30, I think it's an improvised mix. Part of it is "Anchors Aweigh" - not sure about the rest.
Bros..?
It's Trad, Dad! I think it looks like Ken Collyer
Not Swing
