    Pretty Good. Thank you. ♥ I think Sinhala grammar has a lot of similarities with my native Language - Hungarian

    • @lazybutsmartuniverse
      @lazybutsmartuniverse  9 лет назад +1

      "Pretty good"??? What happened to "amazing, genius, brilliant"?... :) I'm just kidding. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. Glad that you like it. And it's also fascinating you see some resemblance to Hungarian. I would've known that, so thank you.

    I noticed that the ages are just numbers with the suffix "yi", does "thihayi" mean "thirty year"?

    Hi Ryan, to be honest I first might do a blog post on numbers and only then a video. But it won't happen that soon as I'm currently a little tied up with stuff. Nice to see you using the words. Although, small correction if I may: It should be either “ma∙mȧ os∙trḗ∙li∙yaa∙vén” or “ma∙gé ra∙tȧ os∙trḗ∙li∙yaa∙vȧ”. All the best and talk to you soon mate.

    these videos are very helpful for me. My boyfriend half Sinhalese half Tamil and I am traveling with him and his family to Sri Lanka soon. Although he knows only English, I would like to be able to communicate in Sinhalese with people that I meet. I know a tiny bit of Hindi and Sinhala reminds me of it a lot. I like these videos. I would like to learn how to read before I go, however
