Hey Alex, thanks for the kind words! I use Thomastic Infeld strings. Bebop series 14 gauge. I keep my action at about 1/16 in in the treble side and about 5/64 on the bass side. As far as pole pieces, I sit with my amp and Allen wrench until I get the balance that I like! I like the top 2 strings to be slightly louder so that the melodies can sing over the rest of the chord. The amp is set kinda right down the middle. Hope this helps. Best Ted
