While I've used ghost notes in the past, this definitely takes it to the next level. Tomorrow, I'll be playing some Texas shuffle tunes at a gig, and I'm going to apply these techniques. Thanks for another great tutorial...keep 'em coming!
Happy you addressed the triplet/shuffle relation. Imo triplets deserve a lesson or two. Took me a percussionist friend to make me grasp the importance of the subject.

The tricky part, once you've learnt to do ghost notes (such fun:) is knowing when *not* to use them haha, especially on a blues gig
Yes! That's the key to any good musical idea. You always have to know how much colour to add to the big picture.

Nice player good teacher.
Pleasant voice and communication style. A little jam at the end where you play a few choruses and further demonstrate would be helpful. Important lesson for bass players. Ghost notes are a big part of the music.
