- American aircraft manufacturer Boeing is standing firm and refusing to cave to the demands of hackers who stole 43 gigabytes of data. The hackers wanted to be paid $200 million in ransom before returning the data. Boeing was hacked in October 2023 by the LockBit ransomware gang, which threatened to release a 'tremendous amount' of secure data.

Everybody on their way to assume Boeing is gonna "self-inflict" the hackers
„…included monitoring logs“ so empty files right ?
lmaooooo
😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣
I think Boeing did the right thing in not paying the ransom. Nobody should.
I don’t think Boeing even knows what “doing the right thing” means.
Has Boeing ever done any "right thing"?
I said they did the right thing. I didn't say they did it out of conscience.
@@Feng87 pay or not, they're leaking that data sooner or later.
Make Boeing pay....not in cash...but in the price of the lives they "sacrificed" for profits just to satisfy their masters at Wall Street.
Hackers: "Pay up now!"
Boeing Hitmen Crew: "Oh really?"
If they know to silence whistleblowers, they can also fiind the hackers
not necessarily. the whistleblowers worked at boeing so boing knew who they where , hackers could just be hacking from some random coffee shop for all they know assuming they do not have terrible opsec
There still is no evidence they’ve murdered any whistleblower
@@user-gi7vi9gm4t thats true but my comment was kinda sarcastic
Hey maybe the hackers know who didn’t install the bolts….😅
LOL🤣
Because of course the quality of their IT security would be on par with their planes.
"Flight safety uncompromised". Well there isnt any to begin with.
Nailed it !
Nor the safety of the whistleblowers💀
This is just unacceptable
The Boeing Hitman can't get any downtime.
Companies should never pay ransom anyway, so big W for Boeing.
Good for them!
Amazing video & information
For once I am on Boeing's side ... but release the hit squad anyway
Seams like another job for Boeing employee of the month - Agent 47.
Probably bad paperwork,Boeing is happy they wont have these files anymore for when they get audited 😂
Wait … can’t NTSB pay the ransom ? They can recover the lost maintenance files 🤡😹🤪
Karma for boeing. They can escape mans law but not the law from the ones who cant be seen
Are you surprised it is Russians again? I am not.
I’m sick of hearing about the January 5th incident. Can you stop going on about it?
No.
I’ve heard enough about it.
Randomware'd twice lmao
They wont pay ransom because they need the money for the CEO's bye-bye package
Boeing will solve this in its own method. Rip hackers 😂
I wonder if the hackers released Boeing’s hit list for their whistleblowers to the public? Boeing had to be keeping track of their whistleblowers just in case.
Silence whistleblower?? Or killing whistleblower??
😴😴😴
Catch the jealous culprit.
This is airbus who are blackmailing 😄
They shouldn't be sued, they just want to get the audit info out to the public
DONT PAY THAT RANSOM 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🍔🍔🍔🏫🔫
I think it’s time for Boeing to just close down.
