    This video was extremely helpful. There is no need for new although, because there is no bearings just bushing you can sand the post and the bushing making like new. Thanks

    Worked beautifully. But folks, when you take your dryer apart, pay special attention to the blower seal (gasket where the front of the dryer meets the blower fan). Mine was stretched out beyond re-installation. The replacement part for my Maytag MDE4000AYW is no longer available from APP or anywhere else. I lucked into a resale of one on ebay, but if I hadn't found a suitable replacement, replacing the drum rollers/axles, drum belt, and felt seal would have been too much time and money down the drain. Be forewarned and check your blower seal to find out if it is still in good shape before you open up those replacement parts.

    Do you need to replace the dryer pins too? Some kits sell without the pins. Worth the savings or more trouble close down the road?

      @TSGChannel2  2 года назад +1

      I'd replace the pins too while the machine is apart. You don't want to have to disassemble it again if you can help it!

    My Amazon repair kit came with wave type washers for each roller. Are these ok to use and in what order?

    Sir, this video/tutorial is brilliant. Not only very well edited but seriously, a pleasure to view. Professional, consise & quite way to follow instructions. In my case, I was able to merely spray the existing rollers with some "TRI-FLOW" Teflon spray & voila! Hast squeeked in over 3 months, so far... Fingers-crossed! 😉 🍀 Many thanks. Superb video!

      Thank you very much! Part of my motivation for making videos like this is to make it easy for people to get the information they need without having to watch someone who can't talk straight hem and haw around for 40 minutes when the same info could be presented in 4 minutes (if done right). Based on your feedback, it was a success! :)

    My mother, who happens to be significantly more savvy with machines than me, has asked me to break down her dryer so she can clean all the components. I would have been at this for hours if you hadn't listed the needed tools right at the start. Thank you.

      Sorry, don't remember now. If you conduct a Google search, it shouldn't be too hard to find what you need for your repair job.

    My driers are a little bigger; they are commercial 30 lb machines. I own a laundromat.

      As much as this one gets used, we could probably use a commercial one!
