My thoughts....Because most of us play alone and the unaccompanied lessons have always been MY most favorite. Much more challenging and enjoyable than riffs and repetitive strumming. Keep it up Brian. Thanks for everything you do!
For me, because it sounds simple enough to have a realistic chance of learning it, but complex enough that it's an interesting tune to learn and feel satisfied playing it - great vid 😀
I was fortunate to get a J-45 similar to the guitar your playing. Cant see it, but I heard it and focused pdq. I have a '53. It looked like it had been drug behind a truck, the sound hole is fairly wallowed out and it had what appeared to be Bondo on the fretboard. I almost left the pawnshop without noticing it. They had 50 guitars, all I noticed was the on of Gibson. Took it down, The Kluson's worked fine. Heartbeating like a drum, I decided I would pay the $65-. Picked the young daffy gal and quickly paid, giving her $70 , deciding I would pay the tax, and not say I'd take it for the asking price, which I usually do. My luthier, a curmudgeon a good day, noted that it was JB WELD, and that wasn't so bad. He put a bridge on it, Br. Rosewood, repaired the braces inside and removed the tube of glue put inside and spread about. Another trip, changed the frets, removed the JB, got the body looking ok, and replaced the nut. $450 total + the 69, 7 yrs. ago. Since, I have enjoyed the warmest acoustic I've ever played. No rocks were stuck in it, a dirt road I thanked Jah for. 40 years of pawn shopping, finally paid off. Take it easy.
Y’all really should get Brian’s course. I can’t tell you how much it has helped my playing. The best I have come across.

Thank you for providing the underlying chord progression. It puts the riffs and walking basse into context. Awesome work, as always 🙏
