Dude get rid of the background music it is distracting from your speech ….especially for me…hearing impaired! ….or lower it’s volume…otherwise alot of knowledge. Just saying.
Tanks for very usefully videos for us newbie’s in BMW i3. But I agree, the music is to load. But still wonderful educational material to know you new car better.
Very useful. Thanks. With all of my respect, a friendly advice: As your voice is not very loud, when mixing with the ... Circus music, let it 15%, not more
My recommendation is to not go to a car wash. When I was younger, I've used the ones with large rotating scrubbing brushes that ended up ripping molding off of the car, and also sand embedded into the brush pads from previous dirty cars ended up scratching the paint. High pressure washers can damage or enlarge a chip the paint. The I3 is a small car and you can hand wash it with a clean rag using a bucket in only a few minutes... It is worth the extra time / care to not get scratches in the paint or rip parts off of the car! That being said, from an electrical standpoint, I personally would be careful around the charging port, and also not wash the inside of the frunk or the engine bay with high pressure water (or normal water from a hose for that matter). I wipe down and/or vacuum those areas, and use safety precautions around high voltage connections.
extra brake light is standard on all bmw for the past decade, brake force display is what they were called. In US, they are extended area brake light, in europe, they flash.
I'm not aware of a way to do automatic parking brake application at each stop. However there is this: ======= Drive-off assistant Concept This system supports driving off on inclines. The parking brake is not required. Driving off with the drive-off assistant 1. Hold the vehicle in place with the foot brake. 2. Release the foot brake and drive off with‐ out delay. After the foot brake is released, the vehicle is held in place for approx. 2 seconds. Depending on the vehicle load, the vehicle may roll back slightly. ======== You can, however, activate the emergency brake in an actual emergency ( normal brake failure for example) by pulling the switch and holding it- but expect 'hard' braking to occur. Thanks for the question!
@@Maurice_Moss read somewhere that those buttons are only included if you bought "keyless entry" comfort package... sound ridiculous but might be true... i dont have keyless entry.
Yep- in future videos I cut adding a soundtrack per request(s). Thanks for watching, and I hope you're finding the channel is interesting & informative!

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking that the music would make it easier to watch the longer parts, not harder!
Yes it’s very distracting!!

The parking brake is super annoying on a fresh start, seat belt was always last step for me… So I’ll change my routine now. Thx for tip!
Love your vids but the music on this one was super annoying.
Thanks for the comment- message received to cull the music!
Love that driving mx track.

Your videos are awesome! thank you! I never knew the neutral trick with the car off, that is really handy!
Glad you liked it!
Great videos! Thanks for sharing and documenting these 😮mowie and thoughtful features.
Ahhhhhhh that music
What about taking the vehicle to the car wash. Is there anything special we should know or do before we get there?

@@bmwi3diy782 have any tips and tricks for washing? I agree with you, the i3 is easy to wash so I do it myself. Maybe a video idea for you?
Hey Man, you are a find, I couldn't find how to disengage Parking brake and accidently I saw your video, thank you very much!
Glad I could help!
Mas musica por favor
The lower brake lights also work when the truck lid is up.
flashers as well when the lid is open
You are correct!! Thanks for the feedback.

Good videos shame about the noisy music in the back ground big big distracion.
I hear you- future videos have less music. Thanks for the feedback!
Is there a possibility to have the handbrake applied automatically whenever the vehicle comes to a stop?
I'm not aware of a way to do automatic parking brake application at each stop. However there is this:

5:46 mine doesn't have any of those buttons...maybe it's just a US thing 🤔
hm. mine neither! (swedish)
@matswessling6600 ah right. It's probably a US thing then, I'm uk and EU regulations tend to be different from the US ones.
@@Maurice_Moss read somewhere that those buttons are only included if you bought "keyless entry" comfort package... sound ridiculous but might be true... i dont have keyless entry.
Had to switch of from the video. The music (why do RUclipsrs think they have to have music)? was so loud I couldn’t hear him.
Others have had same complaint- I've cut out (most) background music now. Thanks for the feedback.
Interesting video, rather spoilt by the loud music.
You not show how to activate the additional brake lights?
Mine was already active by default. I think you can enable with bimmercode- I'll include it in a future video. Thanks for the feedback!
Good video. Music is unnecessary and very annoying
Yep- in future videos I cut adding a soundtrack per request(s). Thanks for watching, and I hope you're finding the channel is interesting & informative!
Why do you have that really annoying 'music' playing over your voice?
Several others have similar comments... I have been cutting out background music on newer videos. Thanks for the feedback!

Ok, thanks for the feedback!
Music 🎶 is terrible
Newer videos don't have music, as requested by others... thanks for the feedback!
