For those having issues with a particular side, try taking off the innermost rubber piece to charge. I'm only using the medium size and my right side wasn't charging. Took that piece off and immediately worked.

Excellent! Thank you very much for your advice.
The "quick start guide" of the product does not explain this well (this is essential, so, a negative point to JBL for this).
If i hadn't seen your video, I would still be looking for the solution!
    So, many thanks!!! :)

I had the same problem but only when I had the right earbud in the charger (when the left one was there, the charging led was on just while it was charging the bud). Actually, that started only after I updated the firmware to v4.2.0. I tried to do a soft reset and a hardware reset, as instructed by the JBL support and that did not work.
Anyways, this is what worked for me: as I was trying not to kill the battery lifetime (because the always-on led was draining all the juice), I changed the app config to auto turn off the buds after 15mins of BT disconnection and so I could leave the right earbud out of the case. I think that may have caused some kind of "reset" to the link from the bud to the case. The next day when I put the right one back to the case, I was happy to notice the led was off after it was fully charged. So I hope this may have solved the problem once and for all.
Hope it works for someone else as well.

    • @MegaSafetyFirst

Hi, you’ll be able to use the charger as long as it can output 5V. The charger and the case will negotiate the correct voltage.

Hi! Did you ever have an issue with the left earbud not charging? I've had mine in the case overnight but the left is still at 5%. When I connect to the app, the left one doesn't even appear lol. Really hope this is fixable as I've been so happy with them on all other fronts 😭

Hi, I’ve had this happen to me when I accidentally did not place the earbud not 100% into the correct position.
When putting the earbuds back into the case I now always check that the LED on the front of the charging case lights up briefly.

Yesterday I took out my earbuds and noticed that the right one was full, but the left one was empty. I guessed I just didn't put the left one in correctly and it didnt make contact. But after a few hours I checked again the Battery case went from 100% to 0% and the left Earbud was still at 0%.
Im going to try charging it again but I fear that my left earbud has a short circuit and I dont have the reciept anymore to exchange them at the store...
