I decided for my 27th birthday to ask my wife for a guitar. She picked up a Yamaha Gigmaster which was a major bargain if you asked me. I have never played a single instrument in my life nor can I read music. This is the first song i want to learn on the guitar, after an hour of picking at the strings I am really getting the hang of it. (I had to google what chords were, but after that I was set). Thanks for posting this video!

if anyone is wondering, the tabs at 2:05 on the high e should be slide to the 5th fret, then back to the 3rd, and then 1st.

This video is great, the tabs really helped and I was able to figure the song out after some play-throughs. Though, I have to say, it's harder than it looks, you play it very well in the beginning.

in "part B" the a minor chord changes to E7 with the third note of the melody.

what your playing doesn't match the tab and the tab isn't exactly accurate too brim with...which id's making it really hard to transcribe and figure out more durations etc

It's not Korobeiniki. It's Korobushka - in russian Коробушка. (a box)

I think there were some wrong notes in the melody. At the very beginning of the melody, you played E BCD CBA BCD when it should be E BCD CBA *ACE*

+Isaac Mangold The lines are your guitar strings (Emajor is at the top and Eminor is a the down) and the numbers are the number of your guitar's fret

I have extremely short nails that won't grown back properly so I can't do this
im playing this without using my nails, you dont need nails for fingerstyle
I like the way you teach, and you play amazingly, but your tabs, both in the video and written down, dont match what you are playing in the initially. Thanks for making the video in any case, if you find yourself with more time to work on this particular vid, it would be nice to have a tablature that included the picking pattern.
