The trills from 2:43 to 2:46 sounded perfect. And right before it, at 2:43, it almost sounded like there were two violins being played at once. You know someone's good when they start sounding like more than one person playing the same instrument. It's like hearing four hands on a piano when there's only one person playing it.
This is unbelievable, I was left wordless. This song version sounded Hispanic and Italian but at the same time it was what the song was supposed to be. 100% earned my like. I will definitely be sharing this to many others.
Anime Boy Wow. Rude much? If *you could read*, you would know that he made *no mention of it being Russian*, so I decided to inform him just in case he was mistaken. _Nice try though. You wanted to look smart but made yourself appear as a pompous jerk._
This is TREMENDOUS! It's definitely the Tetris theme (which by the way I am sure is based on a Russian Folk song, so the creators of Tetris don't deserve to take credit for this centuries-old theme). I would like to hear what the guitar is doing; I'm sure this was just unbelievable live!
The violin is an instrument that can only be played two ways. When it is played well, as it is here, it sounds sublime, otherwise it sounds like someone is strangling a cat. This guy obviously knows what he's doing. Tetris? Yay!
Everybody learns & borrows from those they learn from. Relax Checkoffs. Wherever their inspiration came from & how much they took from another its still a most marvelous piece. Just enjoy their interpretation of it & Shut up!
I love guitars and violins, two of my favorite instruments. my other favorite is the piano, which I see is making a cameo(although not being played). I love this, beautiful!
Wonderful!! Amazing!!! It looks like some kind of "gypsy version" of russian folk song "Korobeiniki". Never heard this way to perform this song. And violin technique is really tremendous!
2K subscribers... 1,5M views... gentlemen i smell a great talent with a very poor communication.. best regards from Moscow (and no, i am not even Russian :)
why would it be either? They played it so elegantly, i'm sure you could play this for some afficianado of classical music who knew nothing of tetris and they would be pleased. Another person also commented that the theme song was actually based on a real russian classical piece.
I love this interpretation! It brings to life the REAL story, not just the blocks dropping in the video game. I hope you don't mind if I learn your version and play it? ;)
How many of you here looked this up after listening to the Complete History of the Soviet Union Arranged to the Melody of Tetris? This was amazing though.

Damn, like that. In Small Ensembles, we have to be a Concert in a box. but it is not easy, and this fiddler is incredible
I'm not speaking Mechanics, But Expression. Fucking Brilliant, in my humble opinion.
This is unbelievable, I was left wordless.

This is a Russian song lol.
He knows, he just said that this version sounded Hispanic and Italian. Learn to read.

It's strange how nobody has yet said "Korobeiniki".
Alexander Mashin Коробеинки
You've forgotten the breve.
Nice GuP account, Katyusha
It's written not "Коробеинки", but "Коробейники".
Korobeini- shit im late

Qué espectacularidad de interpretación! El estilo del violinista es una genial exquisitez. Aplausos de parado.
I want to learn how to play the violin, dam, you make it look so easy.
You mean Korobeiniki.
They would hardly get any views if they called the video Korobeiniki
Korobeiniki is a different song. The Tetris theme samples from Korobeiniki.
@@ninjadude36 Theme Tetris is a remix of Russian folk music. Korobeyniki - this is the original.
They meant Tetris since, you know, its also the theme from Tetris.
arte , realmente arte
wow i love this
Wow, this is pretty epic. I like it!
Reminds me of Fiddler on the Roof. Super badass.
Violin give me some fucking chills man
Epic, this song is EPIC !!!

Wow ! this gave me goosebumps ! this is amazing !
If my grade 8 violin pieces were like this I don't think I would have quit it!
I bet no one knows what a viola is....
sienna l i do it is is like a cello but in violin size
Merle Poulos Glad most people know. One kid at my school asked me what instrument I play. I said viola and he said "THAT'S NOT AN INSTRUMENT!!!"
sienna l ...Wow.
Viola is so underappreciated :(
It's a stringed instrument in a slightly larger size than the violin and is able to achieve deeper tones than the aforementioned violin.
This should be the music to the John Jamison commercials
actually it isn't tetris until about 0:50
wonderful. enjoi music every cool thank you.
Pretty amazing bravo
Awesome fellas!!!!!
Excellent.
Wow. That was incredible. Kudos man.

I love the title UNREAL. like
Is there any way you could post music of the violin and guitar parts somewhere?
why would it be either? They played it so elegantly, i'm sure you could play this for some afficianado of classical music who knew nothing of tetris and they would be pleased. Another person also commented that the theme song was actually based on a real russian classical piece.
UNREAL!
Tetris for a gentleman.

Great!
160 people poked their eye out trying to play this on the violin.
tremendo tango parece al principio.

How many of you here looked this up after listening to the Complete History of the Soviet Union Arranged to the Melody of Tetris?
This was amazing though.
Sounds much more fitting to the original poem Korobeiniki than electronic 8-bit oscillators.
Love it
Yah. Very creative name.
Isn't it a fiddle since its pointed down?
Fan-tastic.
NICE!
It's not "the tetris theme". It's a Russian folk song that's at least as old as from the 1800's.
:'( sooo beautifully awesome *stands up and throws a bouquet of roses on stage. mp3 please?
Nice
Amazing.. virtuos
I feel like this should be in a movie, but I don't know what. *pic of retro Aladdin movie*
very well played...
you guys should play at bar durning massive fight :D:D
The guitarist is at a regular 30fps, the violinist looks like he moves at about 10
I can loop this like 1 hour
Watch the guy on the violin's left hand 1:43-1:57
Movin crazy fast!
the song's name is korobeiniki.
Where I can I get the music sheet for this piece?
Damn......the russians ALWAYS got intense players.I love it...❣
Greetz 👋🇩🇪
This should be used for the gameboy advanced version of tetris.
Can I use it for a movie
damn, excellent!
1:15 to go to the tetris song
You just watched two guys playing 'Korobeiniki' or 'Pedalrs' on a violin and guitar.
its not the tetris theme. its kalinka. tetris uses the melody from the song kalinka by ivan larionov
I think that's exactly the song, yes. And it's spelled gypsy, btw. Check out Google Chrome as it has a built-in spell checker like MS Word.
0:48 es cuando para mi empieza la musica de tetris :P
0.o oh my god this video is UNREAL XD
