    Folks who work @ Body Shops must develop the patience of a saint. You can't rush or muscle taking a car apart. Clips, metal hinges with plastic, putting it all back as new is so difficult for DIYer's

    grab the two rods, one goes right & one left pull both inward towards middle of gate and it will open.

    Those for screws are missing on mine panel was just loose in bed of truck when purchases. Anyone know the screw size?? They look like button head type

    I also broke the handle with the gate up, I was able to lean over and remove the liner and metal inspection cover. It's good to be tall.

    WD-40 isn't a penetrating oil. It's a solvent. Would be better to use an actual oil here or maybe a light grease.

    what if you have a cover over the tailgate and can't get it open without the tailgate down? How would i get the tailgate down beause the handle is broken

    My bolts were totally rusted , damn the northeast winters. Couple whacks with a hammer solved that issue

      +Nolan Corrigan There is not a general part number as there are different makers of this however if you go to a hardware store or parts store and ask for m6x12 1mm pitch screws, they will be able to provide you with the correct ones.

    WD-40 is bad doesn't lubricate, has kerosene in it.

    Very generic video.
    I could not see how you positioned the new handle into the door frame hole? Does it clamp to a bottom lip in the door frame was not shown and how you clamped the arms back to the lock.
