Thank you Ryan, as a truck driver I really appreciate your indepth forecasts. I share them with all of my driver friends to help keep everyone safe.
My dad is a distance driver, my heart goes out to you guys!!! Thankfully he was home dealing with truck repairs last weekend. Therefore he wasn't in the mess here in the south last Sunday night!
Exactly
Thank you for truckin our stuff!😊
Be safe and may God bless you always 💗🙏
@Rinda Foty get lost, you're being reported
@@purplesocks9745 It's a RUclips problem.
93 snowstorm was nothing compared to the blizzard of 78. Snow as high as the roof of our house.
We had that in WV when I was in Highschool.
The Great Blizzard. When the drifts reach the power lines, you get cold in the dark.
@@deckardcain9789 Nothing can top the blizzard of 1949!!
Yes I was 12 during that time here in Massachusetts, we were snowed in for at least a week
Yep, I remember that one..I was 11 and we were out of school for two weeks. I can't remember how much we got but I do remember it stayed really cold so the snow didn't melt.
I survived the Blizzard of '93 in Tennessee. It's one of the reasons why I'm a prepper today.
Yeah, you aren't kidding! I'm glad I've got a good amount and large variety of food squirreled away because its looking like I'm not going anywhere for the next two weeks!!!
Edit: I'm just trying to keep the refined sugar intake as low as possible to prevent diabetes and becoming as big as a house.
I lived in TN from Jan 87 tonov 89, so little snow then poor people had a heck of a time in just a couple inches. Things I guess have changed??
I' m a pepper too.
I remember the March 93 storm. Chattanooga TN has 30 inches of snow, and one of the only Blizzard warnings in Atlanta's history...it was definitely something you'd never forget
I was a kid but I remember the Ice Storm in 94. No power for two weeks and trees shattering like glass.
Yeah, I was in the FL panhandle area and we got snow. Those I know that were in Bham at the time have stories that make snowpocalypse 2014 pale in comparison ....
I was in Atlanta suburbs during the blizzard of ‘93. Unforgettable.
@@carbonstar9091 I have a scar in my shin from a sled accident. Sledding on ice is scarier & faster than snow. I hit a metal fence post. Probably would’ve broken it if I hadn’t had 10 layers of clothes on. Good times!
Sir, I was a junior in high school and remember it well!
Thank you, Ryan. You can’t beat hearing it all from a real meteorologist.
Yep!!!
I would say there is a 5-10% chance of the historic blizzard storm hitting the East Coast.

Thanks to Ryan i was prepared for the 55cm of snow we got in southern Ontario last week he definitely seems to be spot on and ppl at my work didn't believe we would get that much when i told them. Also hello fellow Canadian

I can remember the Thunder & Lightning was so intense on the night the snow started falling during the blizzard of 93 down in NW GA. We woke up the next morning to the the deepest snow we’ve ever seen, some places all the way up to the top of the door.
Yes! I remember we had thundersnow! I'm also in NW Georgia just south of Chattanooga.
I personally appreciate how quickly you talk and cut your videos to keep them moving fast. As well as keeping on topic. I've been programmed over years to have a very short attention span. I've been unable to follow along with others because they are just too slow. Thanks for keeping it moving!
I remember that blizzard in March 93! I had just brought a brand new baby home to at least 2 feet of snow in Atlanta Georgia. Craziest thing ever. I had never seen snow that heavy blowing horizontally. Still remember!
I went into labor March 13th 1993 in Philadelphia Pa, just as it started to snow.
Michael Patrick was born just after midnight on the 14th.
Looks like our baby’s will be 29!
I grew up in Wyoming in the mountains so I'd seen a lot of snow. I never thought I would see anything like that in Atlanta. We had a 55-gallon drum out beside the garage and I still remember the snowdrifts being over-the-top of that drum in our backyard in North Metro Atlanta. I'm not going to lie I lock the hubs in on my Bronco and had a blast

Have nicknamed you The Weather Sniper as always on target. Shoveling mucho snow in Ohio, but still in your corner. From a former Kentuckian who lived in Louisville during super snows of the 70’s.
I think that ‘93 snow storm is one of my first memories. I just turned 2 and the snow was taller than me through the sliding glass back door and when we opened it was just a mound of snow. I thought our house was covered bc it looked so tall to me lol.
Better then the weather channel and better then my local news media weather man. This is why I consider this channel one if the best RUclips channel's on here. So please keep up the awesome work and I promise to keep coming back for more and sharing your video's with as many people as I possibly can because you definitely deserve all the exposure that you can get.

It’s so absolutely beautiful here in West Tennessee. Sunny & 60 degrees with a light breeze. I have the heat off & the door open. Feels more like Spring!
Enjoying it too! I checked my generator back in November. Had an electrician install a transfer box two years ago. Used it more in the summer when power grid is overloaded during high temps. Haven't used it in the winter.
Warm weather in West Tennessee in winter is usually followed by snow and ice.
@@christopherholt1206 I had the doors open and heat off Christmas day here in south Jersey. Its been frigid here on and off since beginning of the year. It was 10 degrees here a few days ago in the early morning. This past Saturday morning was 12 degrees at 7 am. Last Saturday got up to a balmy 27 during the day. January 2nd here was 61, the next day we had 5 inches of snow at my place, 9 at Atlantic City airport and 13 inches in Absecon, right outside Atlantic City
@@FixIt1975 Wow! One day you are drinking hot cocoa, the next day it's iced tea! I lived in New England (Maine/New Hampshire) in '95-'97. No warm break in the wintertime there.
You have to keep winter and summer clothes handy where you are. Stay safe in New Jersey this winter!
I remember the storm well. It was my senior year of high school and many parents weren't even waiting for the busses to bring us home. It snowed over a foot in less than 30 minutes.
Thank you Ryan! We appreciate all you do 💜
Thank you Ryan Hall
I truly appreciate you and all your hard work.
Please stay safe out there ❣️
Love y'all
I remember that 93 storm, in MD we had ice several inches thick. Trees, powerlines everything was covered in ice. Some snow but more ice. I was a senior in highschool. Looked like looking into a snow globe full of ice and some snow.
Really enjoy watching you do the weather! Very informative, and you have some humor! Spreading the word to keep your channel growing!
It’s okay Ryan (from NM) 😊 so many mainstream and independent meteorologists don’t even mention NM in forecasts, it’s very bizarre, we are forgotten a lot and as silly as it sounds, it’s appreciated that you include us!
I like the editing of these videos. With the quick cuts and consistent volume there isn't any pause which makes these videos high-energy while delivering no-nonsense facts. Kudos to just not letting the camera roll and leaving in all the pauses, or ahhh, and ummms as you move to your next thought. Lots of information packed in under 15 minutes.
You have the best weather coverage of anyone. Thanks for your efforts.
I might have screamed kinda loud "HOW ARE YOU NOT OLD ENOUGH TO REMEMBER '93?"
You don't look old. I'm just feeling it now. Haha
😆😂
It sure is fun to watch you get so excited about weather. Thanks for what you do 😁
Thank you for this update. Looks like Virginia is getting some more interesting weather again. We received about four and one half inches in our little front yard and on top of my husband's car with this last storm that came through in Newport News, Virginia. That snow is still with us because our tiny front yard is always in the shade all winter. I have experience a blizzard only once in my life when we used to live in Oklahoma. It started with icy rain then quickly turned to strait-line snow. It froze our doors shut so that we couldn't get out of the house for any reason for about two days. Now it looks like a small possibility of experiencing another blizzard in my life, except without the icy rain before hand.
Ok Ryan I'm watching this one for my daughter in Connecticut. I was up there for the blizzard of 1978. It was beautiful... ! Thank you so much for these forcasts 💞
SW Ohio-----SO HAPPY we had a little snow yesterday and again this morning! So peaceful and pretty.
Thank you, Ryan Hall! Truly appreciate you!
It's sad to think that northern Vermont has less than average snow accumulations to date this year than Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Hopefully we start getting some snow as the lack of it is killing our local economy here.

I remember 93. For me, I was living in west TN. We ended up being a block of solid ice. It snowed as well, but it was mostly ice. I don't remember the total but I think it was around 5 to 6 inches.
The creepiest sound in the world is a iced down neighborhood full of trees blowing in the wind. Sounds like the world is about to fall apart.
I was in middle school in 93 and I remember it being not so much a blizzard for the DC area but a terrible ice storm! We had an ice coating a couple of inches thick! I remember they didn't take away our spring break but they had to extend the school day by a couple of hours till the end of the year.
Was it very wind
I was here on the maryland eastern shore and it was most incredible ice storm I've ever seen. We had inches of ice everywhere!
Yea, that sort of thing causes Dominion Power customers to lose power for a week.
I was a senior in high school in 93. We didn't get jack in 93 here in Jersey but we got blasted in 96, presidents day weekend in 2003 and we got a big one here in January 2016. We're due again and I wanna play with the snowblower I've had for a year now! Oh and I almost forgot February 1978, I was 3 and my mom was snowed in at the hospital when my little brother was being born.
@@matthewlawton9241 I dont doubt it, it most likely fizzled out by the time it reached the coast. These things dont happen every year here, it seems typically every 7 to 10 years here in NJ. Which makes the big ones memorable. And you guys get lake effect snow in parts of PA as well. (I have family outside Pittsburgh). The other one that stands out in my mind is February 83. I said to my dad that morning, "hey dad, it's starting to snow." He said, "we're only supposed to get flurries." School let out early that day, and even though I was an 8-year-old kid then, the snow was up past my knees and my dad was waiting there for me as I got off the school bus. I do remember there being drifts several feet deep in the courtyard outside the classroom.
In Pennsylvania we have had a couple of big accumulating snows on St.Patrick's Day in March over the years. We are about due to get hit with a big snow sometime in Pennsylvania.
I gave birth to my youngest son like the day before that big storm hit was living just outside of Charleston SC at the time. Had him in 03 of 93!
Would love to see some more snow in NC. We had not had any in years before this year. It has been amazing. Thanks for your hard work!

I remember the Blizzard of 93. We had 3 ft of snow and then got ice on top of it all. Lost power for over a week. My oldest son was a baby. We had to stay with my parents because without power we had no heat in our mobile home.
Friday night, Ryan told me it was snowing outside my house before I even realized it. This channel is legit.
I live in North Alabama and during that blizzard of 93, we got several snow days and it. Was. Epic. We were sledding up and down the streets on garbage can lids and having snowball wars with the whole neighborhood. It was AWESOME!
One of my 4th grade students just saw me watching and asked if you were the storm chaser with the cool truck. Then he added, "Who got into a wrecked because his driver missed the stop sign? He's cool and my family watches him!"
Bobbi Rice looks like my history teacher's ex-wife. Are you from Shrews, NM? Near to the Ryan Tango Dinner Lounge? 12th and 4th grade had to have permission slips, how did you'all handle the slips and that bus driver Ed guy from messing the trip up??
