Thanks for the memories. I was born in 1944, I will be 80 in a few days. We were so very lucky to be growing up in the 50’s. Mom cooked three meals a day, did our laundry and Dad paid for everything. Life was grand! I don’t think there was ever a better decade to be alive. ❤️🇺🇸🍁 17:48

Morrie, my name is Dennis (Denny) Frederick. I met you back in the 70s in Tuscola either at the high school where I was a teacher at the time or at a Christian meeting at a home on Scott street. At any rate, I recently watched your video on your favorite songs of 1958. I enjoyed your story about your personal life and your musical performance. I wish you and yours the very best of life. May the Lord continue to bless you with good health and happiness.
I was in the 3rd grade in 1958. Now, of course, I'm a senior citizen, but from start to finish, your video rang so true with me that I nearly cried. Thanks for taking me back to one of the happiest times of my life. You created a priceless program.
I turned 12 and the papers for my adoption were being legalized. I got the most wonderful Godly Mom and Dad. The most incredible life was ahead of me. We moved from Texas to a little town in Colorado… I’m 80 now and have been married to my sweetheart for 56 years…..he always says “My Girl” by the Temptations is our song.

thank you....it was fun putting it together...When i was a teenager, I was sure I would continue to know ALL the popular songs and singers all my life. Boy was I wrong. Now time and time again I see a group of singers' names who will be performing at some big event, and I say to my wife Sue..."who the HELL are they....never heard of them !!!" Can't believe I'n no longer cool. 😎

Thankyou so much , your voice is unbelievable, keep up the good work , we all need to go back in time and reminisce the fabulous 50ies and 60ies. God Bless you!!!
I enjoyed your video so much, Morrie! I was a Sophomore in the Fall of 1958 so you and I are simpatico! What wonderful and innocent times those were. And all the songs - I remember all of them, can still remember all of the words to them. Regret throwing out my 45’s several years ago. I had them all those years. Glad I grew up when I did.
In a way putting up these RUclipss is my feeble attempt at immortality. After I'm gone, my RUclipss will live on...pleasing some people and irritating the hell out of others 😎

Three of my favourite songs Morrie, they are all in my digital favourites, I also was 14 in 1958. I heard these on the Jukebox in the local grocery store in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Thanks for those memories.
I was born in Japan in 1943. In 1958, television was not yet widespread, and listening to music on the radio was my greatest joy. The Billboard Hit Parade was broadcast every week in Japan. I still listen to Frankie Avalon, Ricky Nelson, Connie Francis, and others. The three songs you sang gently wrap the listener in a warm embrace and lead them to a nostalgic world. It was a wonderful time. Thank you very much.
I was born in July of 1959. In 1960 my parents bought a 1958 Cadillac from a Dr Friend of theirs. New cars were bought, but fortunately the caddy stayed and never left the family. In 1982 mom signed it over to me. She knew I wanted it badly! Lol. I've known this car my whole life. So many memories of family vacations and long road trips from Southern California to Missouri in the summer to see family, dad was born there. Car has rare Factory AC making those long hauls comfortable. Trips of mom driving us to school....Fast forward to 2024, I still have it, it's still on the road. Still in Southern California which has kept it rust free. Mom and Dad are gone, I sure do miss them. mom 89, dad 97! But I still have their Caddy, and it means the world to me. And definitely some great music that year , and very much enjoyed your performances of these songs, you are very good at it!! A real treat. Be well and stay happy!

What memories your wonderful video brings back to me. I was a HS freshman in the fall of 1958. That was a time when the world was actually normal. I’ve often wished that young people today could experience a little of what life was like during that time. By the way, I agree with one of the previous replies. Sue is more beautiful than Donna.
Thank you for the trip down memory lane! While I was only 3 in 1958, I had older siblings and knew these songs well! As well as the “RUFFLES HAVE RIDGES” commercials and hoopla hoops! Again, thank you for the memories of a sweeter time of life! Oh yes! I still watch reruns of all those westerns except HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL, however I do have the first two seasons on DVD!
I graduated high school in 1958 and promptly got married. Had 3 kids and did everything I (reasonably) wanted to do. Lost my husband to cancer in 1993 and am still going strong. (Kind of) ... fond memories ...😊
