    Thank you for the thorough explanation! Just bought a 2023 S5 and this tutorial is great. I will watch your other videos as well!

    you can also hold down the trunk bottom on your remote to close trunk. Also hold the trunk button up when you are inside and it only works if your car is on

      @slypod8493 Год назад +1

      I tried the remote button on my 21 and nothing, and I tried the door button, and it didn’t work. Both with the car off though and with the door open so maybe that’s why. Learned a lot about the features here thanks!

      Okay it definitely works. Ignition has to be on and door must be closed

      Dont confuse technology with driving aids and an excessive amount of displays.... The real technology in a car should be under the hood!

    • @polyaplus
      @polyaplus Год назад

      Yah, i said Technology and not the "Real Technology" whatever that means. And ya, no, nobody talks about the technology under the hood because really nobody cares about any of it, i'd be crazy if i spend time trying to understand how a Turbo in this car works and how the on board computer helps with the Dynamic steering when the car is turning because, again, nobody cares. We cares about what's in the car, how the car feels when you are driving it, anything besides that, is irrelevant, again, how often do people go around opening the hood? I think you are bored, don't worry, i got time now say something smart@@migelprager1097

    I just bought a 2020 S5 sportback. It's the premium plus model with sport package. Your interior lighting has a lot more options than mine does I can only control the brightness. Were the colors added to a later year or is it a prestige thing?

    • @AlwaysCreativeVideos

      I believe the multi color option is only available in the prestige model.

    I got my 2023 in Daytona grey back in February. Did you have any issues with the MMI? My first month of ownership I had no Bluetooth at all/no CarPlay. Had to wait over a month for a faulty part that’s allegedly a “known issue”
    Our cars are identical except I got the suede/alcantara interior. Great color choice!

    • @AlwaysCreativeVideos
      @AlwaysCreativeVideos  Год назад

      Ohh wow sorry to hear that. The only issue I encounter from time to time is with the Bluetooth connectivity. Somedays it just refuses to work. Also, great color choice!!

    …I’m hearing rumours that it takes 10+ months to receive the S5 Sportback.

    • @AlwaysCreativeVideos
      @AlwaysCreativeVideos  Год назад

      Hmm not sure why that would be. Only thing I can think of is if that option is only available in the prestige trim. If it is then that would be ridiculous. What trim did you get and did you buy in the US?

    • @sa2k350
      @sa2k350 Год назад

      @AlwaysCreativeVideos Thats so odd its also the technik/prestige trim. I'm in Canada not sure if that'd be a factor. I reached out to the dealer let's see what they say

    I’m holding out for the new generation 2025 model. Hopefully they integrate the screen into the dash.

    • @campingwithale
      @campingwithale Год назад

      I was thinking similar but I might get the 2024 model after the new gen is released for two reasons. 1. the price might down so I can get a good deal hopefully. 2. The 2024 model is the last year for the current gen so it's technically the best year to buy and should be more reliable with completely no issues compared to a brand new gen, as they always start out with problems. Another reason is they're merging the 4 and 5 models which I don't completely agree on that concept.

    • @campingwithale
      @campingwithale Год назад

      Btw I'm planning on keeping the car forever so in my case it's the best way to go. I'm not leasing it or trading it in a couple years as I plan to get the best bang for my buck as all owners should tbh. Cheers! and best of luck on your Audi journey!

Believe me, I have done it everywhere at the bumper. My old '18 S6 that I traded for this S5 worked w/o a problem.@@AlwaysCreativeVideos

    • @slypod8493

      Sports seats do not have it. You have to get regular seats to get cooling function

    • @AlwaysCreativeVideos
      @AlwaysCreativeVideos  Год назад

      If you do a custom order on Audi you can select the cooling seats but then your interior will look like an A5 and not have those signature s5/rs5 seats.

      No it has its own separate cellular service through Verizon. You do have to pay for it after the 6month trial is up. The Audi maps will still work however, you won't get any updates for it.

    Nice reivew. I was going to buy a 24 S5 recently, but utimately decided against it because it seemed that everything was touch screen based. My 440 has a touch screen which I seldom use when I'm on the highway because I seem to have a heck of time hitting the correct "button" and rely on the ceenter console controller. I wasn't sure the Audi touch screen and I would get alone, but I loved the S5.

    • @AlwaysCreativeVideos
      @AlwaysCreativeVideos  Год назад

      Unfortunately, more and more cars will have mostly touch screens. I agree though, I love having physical buttons! I guess that's a thing of the past! Thanks for watching!

    • @craighermle7727
      @craighermle7727 Год назад

      @@AlwaysCreativeVideos You're right!. It just depends on how it's implemented, and I think when voice input command response is a few milliseconds instead of 100s of ms., the 100% reliance on any touch screen is going to be dramatically reduced. What's also interesting is some models have a ledge below the screen which helps with screen manipulation at speed. Either way the S5 is a hell of a car! The S5 liftback is, imo, a more appealing car sylisitcaly than the BMW 440, and if I'm honest it feels more connected than the 440.

      You mean for when you're at stop uphill? if so then it does. I will not let you roll back. Also, if you get out of the car without putting it in park then it will trigger the parking break automatically.
