This is interesting, because I also throw backhands but my delivery is different. Same starting position, but I keep my arm level with the shoulder. And then either palm the ball for knuckle action, or roll the palm over the ball to get some drop on it. I’ll try your version in league play and see if I can add this into my trick shot options!
I have tried the way you are talking about but I always had trouble getting enough power behind the ball. When I adjusted my arm and body motion I found that this way gave me more power and I was able to aim it better. Let me know if you end up liking it!
I actually have a video on blocking if you search bryactive blocking it should come up. Last time I tried linking to one of my videos in the comments youtube removed the comment for whatever reason. I can def do a video in the future on the throw to block position/movement and go more in depth on blocking. Thank you for watching!
Ooo can’t wait to try this!

Thank you for your generous tips, learned a ton 🙏
Awesome! Keep an eye out for the spinning back hand tutorial coming soon. It’s my favorite trick throw!
Good start!
Thanks!
Ty love this stuff ! Is it possible to cover proper blocking position ( ball in front prone on the ground vs knees or standing)?
