I think some of the lines and details of the RC looks better than the RCF. Plus, unless I was tracking it regularly, why spend the money on the RCF with the extra fuel consumption. I'd just mod the RC and enjoy what it is. It's a tamed sports car with a great base for modding if you like. Plus, I put a few officer's kids through college paying spending tickets with my integra back in the day.
It’s the endless debate of people’s financial situation vs a personal project I always say put that talk track aside of save money vs is expensive or more money because I mean that’s based on your funds ( a person buying a full F car isn’t trying to save money not buying a F Sport and a F Sport buyer isn’t not buying the F because it’s not a better car but it’s all our comfort level and most of all what route where trying to take with the car you love. That convo is a never ending rabbit hole of negativity bro so just enjoy your ride and focus on what makes you happy with what you intend on doing with it without knocking who spends less or more because that’s not any cooler or not cooler and vice versa. Anytime I find car folks that go on these endless rants of “ I wouldn’t spend more on a better or less on a lesser car” I walk away bro because that misses the entire point of what makes these machines great culture wise and not for nothing is kinda a lame convo in my view. Cool ride man! Very cool setup totally dig it!
no way. RCF looks way better, rc looks like a cheap version of the RCF. The bumpers and fenders are all different. No fucking way the rc looks better. You’re smoking crack bro. No one ever said that lmao
Its so rare to find anyone with the RR Racing Supercharger! Did you guys send it to RR Racing for install or do it yourself locally? How is the reliability?
I can say it's been really reliable after a year. I haven't got chance to speak with him on the details. He's loving it. One hell of an upgrade. So much fun just to drive around. He puts so much money and time into getting it done the way he envision it. I will update the details when giving a chance.
Hey Derek. This is my friends car. Yes he has RR Supercharger. It makes a huge difference in performance. Check out his Instagram atlrc350 for all the mods he did.
For the supercharger to be effective FBO is a must, plus the tune and the recommended spark plugs. What does not convince me is, this kit is more than six yrs old, and still no videos how it is installed, not even a video talking about the product and showing its components.
The 2gr can handle up to 900hp with factory internals. Only thing to upgrade is the rods and run low compression pistons. Now will the transmission hold the power is the real question
That exhaust sounds extremely annoying, I’ve pulled along side a lot of RC 350’s with an exhaust and none actually sounded good. They’re either really loud or raspy with a ton of drone or both. Maybe there’s an expensive kit that does it justice but I’ve yet to hear it in person. It’s too bad with this car I wanted to buy the f sport one but it was way to underpowered for the price. So after looking around at different cars I ended up just custom ordering a TA392 widebody challenger. If the Lexus dealer had a slightly used RCF I probably would have bought that.

Ah yes, my favorite view, the back of a Toyota minivan
Thank you for the video!
No problem!
Did you upgrade the drivetrain bushings or anything? Or even the guibo?
where did you get the carbon interior pieces?
Its so rare to find anyone with the RR Racing Supercharger! Did you guys send it to RR Racing for install or do it yourself locally? How is the reliability?
We went to RR for installation. It's reliable and fun so far.
We took it to RR to do install and tune. Took about a day to complete. Everything was about $8000. So far it's been reliable and fun
My friend's 2018
It's reliable so far. Hope it will last for a while.
@@rebel2054 How is it after all this time for your friend
What’s your review on the supercharger after a year? Looking to buy for my RC 350 but there aren’t many reviews

Does this affect the car in any way. If it does is a big deal or nah?
Recently got a rc350 f sport 2017 what are some mods you’d suggest to get the most hp and best sounding also where’d you get your supercharger
i got the apexi N1-X Evolution Extreme Catback Exhaust on my 2015 sounds nice
This thing sounds nuts. Can you actually feel the difference from stock to that?
Yes sir! Throttle response is better and of course it sounds way better. LoL
@@rebel2054 is your RC rear wheel drive & how much did such a kit cost overall with install!?
@@kcass3281 The kit is $6800, install is about ~$1500. You also need the PPE headers.
It's about 8k with installation. So far it's been reliable.
how many miles have you run with it?
Has the car still been running good since the supercharger?
It's been good to him. Unfortunately he is selling it. He got himself a BMW X2 now.
I got a rc 350 decked out except the supercharger, does it make that big of a difference? I was looking into RR RACING. Which way did you go?

What other supercharger are there?

Did he do a manual swap?
Update on it? How's it been holding up?
Video starts at 2:30 yw
Where did you get the clock in the middle
The clock is standard from Lexus.
I know you answered this question before but since it's been a year how was the reliability? How were the MPGs affected?
It's been very reliable. The mpg is about 14 to 15mpg. Good performance but takes a bit on gas.
I love rc350 but not stupid guy trying to get speed on public road 🤯
Kaka. Stay on speed limit is fine
lame ass
Please race somebody and post. Need to see what you can beat?
Great car buddy,
but im concerned you are speeding in a residential area.
any issue with the car so far please let me know
It's reliable and runs well so far. Hopefully no problems going forward
Nice bro is that a rrracing supercharger
Yes sir! It is. Been reliable so far.
Muffler sound great whats the setup if you dont mind
This is The last mod I have to do to mine .
Why does it behave like a manual? 🤔
I had the same question. Sounds like the shifts are slow.
He probably let’s go of the gas then shift I do the same and it has the same feel and response
could of spent extra ten on the F and added supercharger to make up to 6-750 hp
Very true . But people like to mod cars.
RWD only though
Is it manual?
No sir. I wish. LoL
Are you in Georgia?
Want see races lol
A lot of Camaros and Dodge wanna race him. LoL
Is that the most hp you can get out of that engine?
I'm sure you can get more. Beefier internals, bigger turbo and more boost.
The 2gr can handle up to 900hp with factory internals. Only thing to upgrade is the rods and run low compression pistons. Now will the transmission hold the power is the real question
@@PResmejor Do you know what stock internals/rods can hold safely?
@@outerzonerc777 i have seen rods go out around 600-650whp . Stock internals , i have seen handle 700whp+ . (Transmission is a different story 😅)
@@outerzonerc777 around 600-700 whp with everything stock, the 6 speed is the thing that goes out, the 8 speed handles the power much better

what’s the 0-60?
About 5 seconds to spool up.... Then 1 sec to 60. Hahaha
Lmao
@@rebel2054 lmaoo but fr around what
Not so sure. He hasn't clock it

Why not rcf?
Because now he’s faster than an RCF lol
It's just more fun modding cars than buying a straight RC F

No money for that. Hahaha. Just enough for stock RC and supercharger
yeah I agree you should of got an RCF and super charged it, but its still sick
SMH…. You drive around all these roads for 2/3 minutes. Then you decide the best place to go over 60-70 mph is a residential area 2:50??? SMH
🤣🤣🤣🤣
C’mon bro not through residential!!
should have saved your money and gotten the v8
Sounds decent, video was boring asF.
Don’t be jelly
Sounds awful. And you waited 3 whole minutes of cruising around before flooring it through a 25mph zone with a “watch for children” sign. Nice.
