Thanks for the tip! Did not know that the powder works against pb! I have used neem oil, results are ok if you apply it early enough when the larvae are in their early stages of development. Greetings from Austria!
Home Defense works great on plants you don't need bees or other pollinators to help fruit the plant. Use it on my tomato plants and it works fantastic. Also is the best thing to get rid of Stink bugs. Home Defense is made from natural products and is completely safe. Just wash your fruits before eating them.
You really should make more videos. You have the knowledge, clear communication, and charisma to have a really successful channel. Do it because you love it...not to get likes and views...and eventually it will take off. My wife literally makes decent income from a site about showing poultry. It took a few years, but now it's a really nice supplemental income.
Hey Bree! Here is the link to a good variety of diatomaceous earth. Thanks for catching that for us! We are updating our description now to put the link in. www.amazon.com/Harris-Diatomaceous-Earth-Powder-Duster/dp/B072J8Z28F/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2N933L1VDZULW&dchild=1&keywords=food+grade+diatomaceous+earth+for+humans&qid=1630606866&sprefix=food+grade+diat%2Caps%2C236&sr=8-7
how long do these critters continue their barrage on my plants; out there every day picking and drowning the critters and their larvae as well.....haven't put on the dust yet. Guess that will come next
@@trigardening This is the first year that I have been plagued with potato beetles. I have been following your advice and it seems to be working. My question is that I grow my potatoes in extra large grow bags. Can I reuse my soil from this year to grow potatoes again or am I going to have to throw out all of the soil that my potatoes were growing in.
thank you for great tips!

Until they are done is how I think about it these days. Best of luck to you!

There is no way I would hand pick them! I have them and have tried powdering them, today I sprayed them with water and blue dawn, tomorrow is raid.
Raid will be Strait cancer on yer potatoes. Try boiling rhubarb leaves and sprayin
It's not so bad picking them! It honestly goes pretty fast and they are slow enough that they can't scurry away like some other pests.
@@dkemash123 Cool idea! I hadn't heard of that method before with the rhubarb leaves. I'll give it a go next time.
