    CNCF’s Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing across open source projects in specific technical domains. Observability is a popular cloud-native open source domain where innovation and collaboration are key. Observability solutions built with technologies developed by CNCF open source observability projects ensure smooth operation of apps, cloud infrastructure and AI pipelines. In this session, the Observability TAG leadership will present an update on this past year’s accomplishments and upcoming activities. Highlights will include the recently published community paper on observability, query language standardization progress, the new AI working group jointly created under the runtime and observability TAGs. and increased collaboration with the TOC. New initiatives will include exploring the exciting future of observability powered by Gen AI.
