    I am amazed at your wonderful channel! You are a super teacher. I’m a long time clicker trainer of dogs and ... I’m getting a parrotlet in 4 weeks. So excited to learn from you! Would love private zoom lessons on the steps for some of Wolfie’s tricks if you do that. And, if I can afford it. 😊 Going off to your store to shop! Thank you sooooo much! Trish in Durham, NC

    I click my tongue twice like a clicker as it's not a sound I make in normal speech and frees up my hands. And I've always got my tongue handy 😆

    My budgie always goes to the window whenever I let her out and she keeps banging her head of the window, I put the blinds down so she doesn't go to the window but is there anyway to train her to stop going to the window?

    • @LittleWolfieBird
      @LittleWolfieBird  3 года назад +1

      If she is banging herself because she doesn’t realize that it’s glass then I suggest taking her on your finger and spending time with her right against the glass pane so that she can feel, see and realize that it’s glass and that she can’t fly through it. It’s a pretty complex question to answer simply here because there may be other reasons why she flies to the window - try to find the reason first:)

    • @---____----
      @---____---- 3 года назад

      @@LittleWolfieBird I think that she just wants to go outside but I can't just let her fly around because I've barely even trained her to go on my finger 😅 but once I train her more I'll try to let her know it's glass, thanks 🥰

      I use my own blend of seeds, which include flaxseed, chia, black and white sesame and a good quality commercial parrot seed mix. I'll talk more about treats and nutrition in future videos as I get asked this question a lot :)

    What type of Parrott is wolfie? Are all parrots trainable like that? Wont they fly away out of their cage?

    • @LittleWolfieBird
      @LittleWolfieBird  3 года назад +1

      Wolfie is a pacific parrotlet. All parrots are trainable like that but your speed of training will depend on how tame / bonded they are to you. Training is a great way to bond with your bird ☺️
