    great presentation coach - this is my favorite offensive game plan of all time.

    We always taught the guard off the first dribble pitch to take one dribble and come out to the volleyball line. If his man chases him it gives that much more room for the back screen. Works great against teams who like to play pressure man

      +Justin Hadlock sorry, I meant the forward receiving the first dribble pitch.

      Sam Wylie If you have big point guard like Lonzo Ball, you can get easy layups after 2 passes OR a Top of Key 3-pointer for 2-Guard off the Flare Screen. I wish Julius Randle was at the LEFT wing instead of this damn Spurs Motion that has Randle at the Top of Key.

    I like how the centre did that no look behind the back pass to the cutter, this would be perfect for a player like Bogut.

    5-Man Pop-Out is proceeded by Twin Pindown Screens in my offense.
    DHO from Center to wing player.

    I just watched a video where they just showed a bunch of plays during games without any explanation. This video gives good explanation of the plays without showing how they look in a game. Is there a video anywhere that shows the plays being run during a game, but with explanation of what the players are doing?

    2017 Lakers are used CHIN OFFENSE in summer league.
    Guard to Guard pass, but without wing pass 😎😎😎😎.
    Lob Pass from Guard to Guard directly to the initial ballhandler for the Alley-Oop dunk

    Why don't you use 5 guys to do static defense? Its much easier to visualize the limitations and advantages of each set that way.

      Lledd777 New Jersey Nets went to 2 NBA Finals with this Princeton Offense & Chin.
      The Laker players REFUSED to backdoor cut. That's a recipe for failure.

    coach can you do this with Rick Adelman's Corner offense? And even Terry Stott's Flow offense?

  • @chanachon56
    @chanachon56 6 лет назад +4

    Hey coach, would this work against a zone defense? Or would you just recommend running this solely against man-to-man? Thanks.

    • @brucemercer7753
      @brucemercer7753 6 лет назад +3

      It's about Backdoor Cuts on the players Guarding you. How do you backdoor cut on a whole zone?
      Teams go to Zone because they cannot match-up to you in man-to-man. This Offense is for the team OUT MATCHED by the DEFENSE.
      If the Defense is faster, stronger, taller, more physical than your team is... why would they play Zone against you?
      The only reason the more athletic team would play zone against your team would be because you are killing them with this play in Man-to-man.
      And that should play right into your hands because now you can attack a the gaps in Zone instead of superior athletes.
      Look up the NCAA tournament 1st Round game Princeton vs Georgetown (I forget which year) but the final score was something like 56-54.
      Georgetown was the vastly superior athletic team. Princeton's Offense gave them a great change to win but they fell just short.
      It's 40 minutes of how to run this offense to near perfection.

    Lakers right now are running the Princeton offense. I realize that this is good for players to be in a more organized flow of things, but will this inhibit d'angelo Russell development as a pg?

    Byron Scott would love to be the Lakers head coach now.
    Brooke Lopez and Lonzo Ball fit Princeton Offense much better than Golden State Warriors Offense with Steph Curry as an elite 3-point shooting PG.

    Lakers have a Stretch-5 ( Brooke Lopez) FINALLY !!! Lopez could be at the Elbow, then pop outside the 3-point line. DHO & stay outside for a Stretch-5-style 3-pointer
    You have a 6'6 PG in Lonzo Ball that would be best at starting this offense (CHIN) on the left side.

      because the PG usually puts his hand on his chin to signal the start of the offense.

    Hey Coach Nick, another great video, so what do you think about
    The new and improved Jeremy Lamb who I think could be a Jimmy Butler 2.0 or even a James Harden without the foul drawing skill
    And also how do you like the new Kyle Lowry who's obviously much more faster and a much better shooter
