My suggestions if you remodel the house again is to make the toddlers/baby room down stairs so you won’t have to keep going up and down to feed them their bottles; save yourself the time and trouble please lol. You can make the landing on the second floor the living/common area kinda of what you already have going on with all the activity stuff, but better; you can take out the current toddlers room if you need more space. You can probably keep the computer downstairs still w/the right layout

They were also much more mysterious because you couldn't just meet them. You could literally only play with a sim with alien genetics if you have a male sim pregnant, and even then you had a chance of the baby having part human genetics. When i was a fucking noob and with no expansion packs i thought this was the most difficult thing ever Oh and the whole Bella story made me even more afraid because i thought the sim had a chance of dying But honestly, the Sims 2 were much more scary at times than any later game

And when they died with low aspiration there were out for the living! And they could kill every sim on the lot if they wanted to. Half a year ago when i re-bought TS2 I did an experiment once where i had a full family of adults and did not control them at all. For the longest time everything was ok, they weren't super happy but, you know, alive. Everyone had their owm fridge, bed, loveseat, telescope, and bathroom set. Only one tv but they shared it no problem But when the one guy took a nap that took a bit too long he starved. He was also very depressed, so the ghost was mad af. Every evening when it got dark, i heard very unsettling noises coming from his grave. Like echo-y ringings, and - i kid you not - stomach rumbles. I never realized this when i was a kid.. And he came every darn night. I hoped the others would go to bed but some didn't. And it all went downhill from there. You remember when the ghosts would startle the living Sims? It fucked them up so hard they would die so easily. And that's what he did. First night he killed one. Next night both returned, and killed one each. The night they killed 3 and only left one, who was sleeping the whole night. But he had no chance the next night.. Lmao srry for the long story, but that's when i realized how deadly ghosts really were back then. And so spooky!

The zaniness of TS2, just.... gaaaaahhhh, it's so good. Comparing it to TS4, it's like people poured their heart and soul into TS2, every last drop of creative energy manifested into the game, while TS4 is... pretty? but stale. Pales in comparison to this Maxis gold.
I spent so much effort recently downloading rosebud's pleasantview save file and editing oasis springs to basically be strangetown and when I went to play with the sims it was so underwhelming because of the lack of personalities and cool quirky interactions in the sims 4. Trying to recreate the exact same sims just highlights it so much more.

Lol its only hard cause your focusing on one Sim at a time when you pause it. Pause it load up all your Sims then play. Let it run for a while repeat. That's how I mastered big families on Sims 2 and 3. Baby's are also predictable they will always need the same things over and over when they wake up, just go through the whole menu on each one and then go to the next.
I'm not complaining because its very funny to watch this way, but I can't see whats so difficult either XD I play Sims 2 a lot still and I have no problem controlling 10 sims at Uni while they're all on the same normal schedule and getting A+, and 3 babies/toddlers is no problem HAHA

The "tied to the bassinet" system is rather less fun, even if it results in fewer babies stuck on the floor. Or in the snow.

I do love seeing the struggle; definitely makes for a great playthrough! For expedience's sake, you might want to move the toddler cribs downstairs so it's less of a trek up and down stairs to feed them as well as having the trash compacter close by for diapers. I can't remember if having the tv on would wake up the toddlers. And maybe that'd free up the toddler room to put in the skill-building objects?
Been playing sims since age 4/5! (2000/2001) Haven’t played 4 yet but out of 1-3 the 2 is my favorite. Sims 3 seemed like a place holder till they had the resources to make 4. Hated 3 it seemed like there wasn’t really enough to do beyond building/living/collecting. Sims 2 stuff packs were also super unique and extreme. Long live the sims 2. Glad you’re still making videos of it it’s more relatable to me since I haven’t played 4 yet! Making a goal to get a nice enough computer by the end of 2019 that can handle playing games. Soon...
OMG! This house is absolute chaos! LOL Babies in the snow, on the floor, teens abducted, Nina spending the whole day in her nightie, pop tarts decaying on the counter, diapers in the floor, a dozen bottles on the floor, homework stacking up, broken shower spewing water, and Sims just doing whatever the heck they want to. I have never laughed so hard watching a video. And now I need a nap. That was exhausting.
P.S. If you use the change table to change dirty diapers the diaper will be put in the bin (instead of tossed on the floor) and the baby's hygiene need will be topped off (instead of set to 50%)...just a helpful suggestion ^_-

I do love seeing the struggle; definitely makes for a great playthrough! For expedience's sake, you might want to move the toddler cribs downstairs so it's less of a trek up and down stairs to feed them as well as having the trash compacter close by for diapers. I can't remember if having the tv on would wake up the toddlers. And maybe that'd free up the toddler room to put in the skill-building objects?
Been playing sims since age 4/5! (2000/2001)
Haven’t played 4 yet but out of 1-3 the 2 is my favorite. Sims 3 seemed like a place holder till they had the resources to make 4. Hated 3 it seemed like there wasn’t really enough to do beyond building/living/collecting. Sims 2 stuff packs were also super unique and extreme. Long live the sims 2. Glad you’re still making videos of it it’s more relatable to me since I haven’t played 4 yet! Making a goal to get a nice enough computer by the end of 2019 that can handle playing games. Soon...

OMG! This house is absolute chaos! LOL Babies in the snow, on the floor, teens abducted, Nina spending the whole day in her nightie, pop tarts decaying on the counter, diapers in the floor, a dozen bottles on the floor, homework stacking up, broken shower spewing water, and Sims just doing whatever the heck they want to. I have never laughed so hard watching a video. And now I need a nap. That was exhausting.
It amazes me how much you remember the aspects of a 15 yr old game when I cant remember if I ate yesterday lol Then again I'm old so......

P.S. If you use the change table to change dirty diapers the diaper will be put in the bin (instead of tossed on the floor) and the baby's hygiene need will be topped off (instead of set to 50%)...just a helpful suggestion ^_-
