    How To Play Offlane
My hero guides are mainly for people learning how to play Dota or for those who want to learn how to play a new hero. I aim to teach people the general concept of how the hero should be played and what makes it unique. I'm a Divine player around 5k and don't claim to be the best at Dota, but I do have enough knowledge and experience to help you learn the basics.
I hope you enjoy the guide.

Thanks for this video. I just came back to playing dota and positions were not a thing before i left. I find playing offlane as my most comfortable position so i might aswell pursue to become good at it.

im fairly new to dota (not mobas i was playing smite for awhile) i get the concept of ganking, pushing towers, cutting lanes, split pushing, warding, team fights, etc but i just dont know if i should be a support player or a offlaner (2 very different roles) but i do like them big beefy characters that (i like tiny, saw, tusk, tide, & earthshaker) can take alot of damage, take towers, push lanes, start team fights, etc but is it smart or ideal to just focus on becoming just an offlaner as a newer dota player? or should i learn all the roles then pick 1 to stick to?

So.. are level 2 all-in a thing for Dota 2?
The battle for the level 2 is a 'huge' thing in LOL, and given the deny capabilities in DOTA 2, it is less static on what creep you will get the Level 2, but, it should still be easy to keep track of.
My friends that I started to play DOTA with, that have like, 3000-5000 games, do not understand what I am even talking about , nor how many creeps needs to die for level 2 and level 3.., so... ?? in what bracket does stuff like that become 'a thing'..?
I would assume that a carry/support combo would indicate if you should force the level 2 / level 3 all in, or, be clear to avoid getting jumped..
As an offlane / support player starting 2 weeks or so ago, .. I would love a video from you on the topic of when to go ham, and when to run as that power-boost from added stats and 2 more spells hit me and my lane mate...

      it is definitely very important.
in mid lane it's easier to answer this question...
if you don't consider deny, with the first wave of creeps with 4 creeps you already reach level 2 (as shown in the video at 14:23)
on the sidelanes, there are more variables for this question...
since you share the experience with someone else and if it's a neutral creep you can split the experience into 4 (you, teammate and two enemies)
u have to be within XP radius, if i'm not wrong is 1500
and also on the sidelanes we have pull, stacks, denies, summons (some heroes), killing the enemy hero...
the fight for lv 2 is very important in the higher brackets, in the lower brackets many don't understand it and don't take advantage of it.

@@luccasfxavier Well, then I will continue to be a bit sceptical to my '1337 friends' being sub 1000MMR with 5000 games claims that I should build tank and rotate to 5v5 with them for the 'entire game' past 10-15 min...., and not bother them with questions like level 2 / level 3 all inn plays..
I agree that counting denies and keep track of jungle camps killed might be hard for the level 3, but for the level 2, it seems quite easy to manage even for a new player like me..

I see potential in this channel.
To bad its all focused in beginners only.
You are taking way to much time to explain basics
