Hard to believe that the forests and jungles used to sound very similar, with sleeping giants snoring, huge insects buzzing around and large carnivores grunting and growling. It’s both terrifying and soothing.
Surrounded by huge, powerful beasts shrieking into the air with the force of an explosion The air cracking like a thunderstorm at the beat of the pterasaur, squealing a scream filled with hunger And, the murky ocens where colossal leviathans haunted and glided silently with an ever open cavernous mouth of razor-sharp teeth Terrifying is far too small a word for what the world was then
I mean, not really. Depending on how far back you go, they're gonna sound totally alien, assuming they *sound* at all. Before 68ish million years ago, we don't even know if birds had the syrinx to chirp yet - probably not.
I imagine the earth literally smelled like blood due to the incessant carnage. Any creature born in that time was essentially just a walking meal from day one.
@@justinbetland9792similar to todays world i doubt it, dinosaurs were animals not monsters meaning if they weren’t hungry they most likely didn’t kill and even everyone’s favourite mighty t rex would think twice before rushing to fight its heavily armoured prey so most likely not the “carnage” you think itd be

Log #56: It’s been a few days since the chopper crashed into an uncharted island about 250 miles off the coast of Venezuela. I’m surprised that the fire from the fuel tanks didn’t burn the whole damn forest down. However, I can’t decide what’s worse. The fact that I’m stranded on an uncharted island, or the fact that the island isn’t uninhabited. When the first night after the crash rolled around, I found myself setting up a makeshift shelter from the elements inside the forest. But during the night, I could hear low, yet powerful growls and deep squawks in the distance. It sounded like the woods hade some BIG fauna here, yet I couldn’t think of what the animals could be. At least, not until the next day. When daylight arrived, I explored the forest some more and to my surprise, I saw these massive creatures hidden within the trees! They were reptilian, yet also had traces of feathers on them. Some were bipedal and had massive heads and tails, some were quadrupeds with long necks, frills with horns, or spiked tails and spines. And the avians I saw had long beaks, yet they looked too reptilian to be giant birds. It dawned on me. They creatures weren’t just any ordinary lizards…these were DINOSAURS! Living, breathing dinosaurs that somehow survived the KT extinction event! But just as soon as I was amazed, I also felt fear. They creatures, especially the meat-eaters, wouldn’t be too friendly with me if they found my camp. I needed to find a different spot to set up camp and arm myself with whatever weapons I have or could make to protect myself. Luckily, I won’t have to survive for long. Just before the helicopter crashed, I managed to send out a distress signal to HQ. Hopefully, they’ll be able to send someone over soon to rescue me from this island. Until then, I need to stay alive from this dinosaurs. End of Log
HQ Personal Log #72: It struck me today that it’s the first time I’ve been back to this God-forsaken island since my recovery team and I came here to look for Jensen. Makes it, what, about nine months or so since I’ve been here? Damn, I hate this place. The smell alone is rank. Our field leader, Dr. Allerson, says it due to the plant life, which gives off different natural musky smells than the nature we’re used to. Makes me want to gag half the time. I remember it took a little over a month to finally find Jensen. The strange flora here made for difficult tracking and travel-lots of thick vines like roots hidden just under enormous fern-like leaves to trip us up. Wallard ended up twisting his ankle pretty bad, which drew a lot of attention from a few nearby tachiraptors. We were swarmed in seconds, and we couldn’t get Wallard to his feet in time. Our field leader ordered us to withdraw-I wasn’t about to, until Wallard drew his pistol at me and told me to run, that he’d take care of them. Reeling with guilt, I felt sick hearing his screams echo through the forest as we ran. Shit. A couple weeks later, we finally found Jensen-just the remains of his torso and head. His limbs had been shredded from what was left of his body. His face was…well, we only knew it was him because he’s the only thing resembling a human on this island besides us. Still makes my stomach seize to think of it. I didn’t know him well, but no one deserves to go out like that. Such a waste. And now we’re back, only this time for research instead of rescue. Allerson is just fascinated by everything here on the island that time forgot-he thinks maybe a few of these prehistoric plants might have some medicinal value. But as far as I’m concerned, it can all go to hell.
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, International Affairs Program CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION “Lost World” Memo #3 About 67 weeks ago, Karl Jensen, an American national working for a Palo Alto based bioengineering firm, crashed his helicopter into an undocumented island 254 miles off the coast of Venezuela. A recovery team sent by the firm found Jensen to be dead, and regrettably lost one of their members: John Wallard, also an American. A second group was sent in for research purposes 26 weeks ago, which got into a little bit of trouble with Venezuelan customs officials. Due to the nature of the situation, the federal government has had to orchestrate a couple cover-ups and is in contact with the Venezuelan government to manage research on the island. According to witness testimony and documents brought back by the research group, the island is home to numerous species of prehistoric flora and fauna that were previously considered to be extinct. The research group identified a group of Tachiraptors as well as what is believed to be a Perijasaurus, and at least 4 different species of extinct coniferous plants. In addition, they noted 2 unidentified Pterosaurs and one large unidentified Theropod. The discoveries are a major breakthrough and are completely unprecedented. Further expeditions by the firm have been halted, but the government is working with the firm and the Venezuelans to conduct research in the future. Further investigations on the bioengineering firm’s connection to the wildlife as well as the unfortunate deaths of Jensen and Wallard are also to be conducted. END OF MEMO

@audiozoic ambience I would love to hear a Dino Forest ambience integrating the recent understanding of the skull and nasal pathways of the T-Rex having more guttural, low rumbles and trills vs roars. You do this really well already actually here. There not any really JP stereotypical roars (as awe-inspiring as they were as a kid, the real Rex sounds are spine chilling) I’d LOVE to listen to a T-Rex Stalking Prey ambience with more of those low guttural trills and such. Just found your channel and I have to say, I'm bamboozled that you do not have more subscribers. Your ambience videos are some of the best I have found on this platform. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much Paul! That is very kind of you to say so! I've not long started so fingers crossed things will pick up in terms of subscribers. I've got lots more videos coming to look forward to!
@@audiozoic will do, have a nice day
Unfortunately it has much to do with youtube's algorithms :
Yes very true
@@audiozoic Yes... :c Having a hard time getting my Jurassic Future video any exposure haha I shared on the relevant subreddit and it didn't seem to come in many's feeds there either, and I don't wanna be that person who reposts lol
this one is so good, so many dinosaurs noises, it's perfect. thank you!
They are making it out of the Jurassic with this one 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bit of a weird feeling, listening to this while doodling cute things because I can't sleep due to pain O.o
Love the instinctual flinching tho ^^
La magnificencia de esta composición no puede ser igualada. He quedado embelesado con cada sonido, con cada llamada misteriosa.
I feel a mix of peace and on edge, lol
Thanks for going back in time to get this!
No worries. Should have got some DNA samples or something while I was there too...but I can't think of everything.
I have recently moved from the Land of the Lost, And I have been kinda home sick. This as really helped me sleep, Thank you
I hope you feel at home here.
This is really cool but i cannot imagine ever being relaxed by it

Glad it helped!
Perfect for writing my dinosaur fic!!! 💕

Thank you so much! That's very kind! I appreciate your support!
Wow I love these reality sounds they always reminded me of jurassic Park movies.
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching and check out some of my other dinosaur ambience videos.
It's nice how I can study with this music on like I'm inside the forest accompanied by dinosaurs
This would be great for Halloween!
you got me at Jurrasic park !
putting my jbl speaker in the yard facing my sisters window and playing this on max volume (we live near the woods)
Nice!
Oh hell no these sounds activate something very primal in my mammal brain
I am feeling very vulnerable not being in my burrow
Idiot
@audiozoic ambience
I would love to hear a Dino Forest ambience integrating the recent understanding of the skull and nasal pathways of the T-Rex having more guttural, low rumbles and trills vs roars.
You do this really well already actually here. There not any really JP stereotypical roars (as awe-inspiring as they were as a kid, the real Rex sounds are spine chilling)
I’d LOVE to listen to a T-Rex Stalking Prey ambience with more of those low guttural trills and such. That would be so f’in cool!
Glad you like it. I'll make more in the future.
RUclips suggested this. Good call RUclips. Awesome video. ✨
Awesome! Thank you!
Patrice O'Neal once had a great idea for a dinosaur movie...
lovely to listen to while crocheting lol
Amigarumi T-rex?
I just got this recommended and i have to say i'm usually not a fan of these kind of videos but your videos are simply perfect😊
I went through some if your videos (my favorites are the dinosaur ones) and i love them so much🥺
That's some really good editing you did there and it feels like being there for real😄
Anyways keep up the good work you just earned a new subscriber😊
Life's been hard lately but now i'll just relax in my hammock high up in the trees and forget about everything for some time while listening to the sound of the forest below me😊
Thank you so much! That is very kind of you to say so. Glad you enjoyed this one and hope you'll enjoy some of the others too!
that might be one of the worst comments I've ever seen
