@@Mike-td7dc oh I'm aware. I've seen em all, I'd just rather see the actual story of the book. Not the random mess they made up while the book was being written.
This is exactly why the first two Spielberg films are way better than the rest of the series, they had atmosphere, you felt you were there. You did an amazing job recreating the same feeling I got from watching The Lost World for the first time.
Yeah the first two movies really take their time with pacing so you’re allowed to feel as if you’re there with the characters. All the other movies feel like they’re just rushing from one set piece to the next
It's called 'tactility', and it's something movies really tend to take for granted. The creaking pipes, the dripping water, the shifting leaves, the billowing wind...all of it just SATURATES a scene with ambience. Watch the trailer attack scene from JP 2 and look at how many objects are moving or making noise. Cupboards, cups, popping tyres, cracking glass and more. The characters interact with it all, feel it all, and as a result so do we.
@@iandanielcassidy8126 this era felt like you was on a real island 🏝️ with Dinosaurs the original Trilogy is the best and scariest and realest fuck Jurassic world and that spino was scary as fuck and the Two t rexes from the lost world 😩😩😩
Me too. I grew up with the og trilogy so of course there's a bit of nostalgia there but they had a quintessential "feel" to them that was homey yet adventurous, they still tried to be scientific and have some lasting impact for their characters... something that the newer ones didn't capture at all! They're cheap, soulless spectacles with ideas ripped off that don't understand the essence of the franchise. I wouldn't watch them again yet I could put on any Jurassic Park movie and enjoy them each time, flaws and all. Even if some thought it repetitive, I think moving the canvas away from the small island setting completely was the new films' downfall, among other things. It didn't feel like a magical, prehistoric place where time stood still anymore.
This is the best Jurassic Park ambiance on RUclips. All the other JP are random loops put together. These Rexes are moving around doing something, it's awesome.
can you imagine camping in this, and suddenly hearing the massive foot steps of a rex coming right by you? frightening, but also soothing if they don't know your there and your safe because no other predator will come near you with a rex nearby
Being high and hearing them walk right underneath on my surround sound stereo, very loud, was probably the single most terrifying experience of my life. 10/10, will do again.
I want to tell something: These last weeks I’ve been hearing this for sleep. I don’t know why but, my imagination runs with this vid. I imagine myself living in a Tree house in Isla Sorna. After a long day exploring the Island, I return with my car to my tree house in the T. rex family territory. Night, Raining, with only the lightning of the moon trying to cross the grey clouds illuminating the place. My tree house has a “High hide elevator” but for me and my car, to elevate me to my home, and putting the car away from the T Rexes to find. When I get in the tree house I always have a nice balcony to see the view of the forest and mountains of the island. I get inside the house in the dark, obviously I won’t have much lightning due to not wanting any dinosaur find out about my home. With a light in the desk next to my bed is enough. I lay in my bed, I sleep, but then I wake up due to the T. rex family noises. I’m used to it, but I feel safe, they don’t know I’m up here, and no other animal can know because no other animal on the island will get close to a T. rex…..except me. I love JP since I was so little, and this video made me feel in that island someway, thank you ❤️
You gotta have a satellite phone to talk to the outside world. Maybe a even a small laptop powered by solar (which charges batteries to use at night). Next to your bed you got your gun case - SPAS 12 and a .600 nitro express. Don’t forget a little kitchenette (I assume you’re using canned, MRE, or freeze dried stuff ?). Being in thr tropics, maybe your treehouse can use rain catchers for your water supply.
Better hope they don't catch any wind of you. Them or the raptors. A vehicle has a very distinct, yet alien smell to it (at least to a Tyranosaur). Also, don't get caught out there.

The second time it feels like it’s actually stopped and noticed the lift and is looking up at you. Super suspenseful and immersive 10/10
This ambiance offers a unique sense of safety. Sure, we're within the territory of the Rex pair, but because it's the High Hide, they don't know that. Also you know that while they're patrolling their territory, nothing else can pose a danger to you
I think Kelly and Eddie looking down at the trees shaking ans moving while the rexs are walking theu is my favorite scene, in Lost World if not entire series.
The thunder, pounding rain, tropic jungle sounds, and the terrifying, beautiful iconic song of tyranosaurs off in the distance is absolute music to my ears. Extremely well done. Thank you for this experience!
I always loved the dark ambiance of this scene, how it was sorta calm with the rain but builds this slow creeping fear as you hear the dinosaurs below. I was looking for the original scene and i was so pleasantly surprised to find this
Hey, I'm a big fan of the Lost World. I think it is the best of all the movies and it is clearly a T-Rex FEST! Thanks for putting this together. Pretty awesome! 🙂
You've created a brilliant and elaborated atmosphere here. Everything is blending in and makes it feel natural. The approaching T-Rex, the Rain on the roof, the whole soundmanagement is just on point. Thanks for that, you should have been much more known by youtubes community by now!
I just wanna say how much you have helped me with your ambiences and this one specifically. I had been having a lot of trouble in school this year and find great difficulty in keeping my grades up. However, because of your ambiences I am doing well again. My marks are getting better and I just want to thank you so much for making these. They helped me so much.
There's something(s) just so damn cozy and immersive about the atmosphere of this soundscape! I love the depth and clarity of sound, rather than the typical two inches of clear audio puddle thrown on some harsh cement static. I Imagine being atop a high tower standing on an indestructible stone fortress within an impenetrable compound of mighty crenellated walls and solid metal gates.
Musician and videographer here 🙋🏻♂️ audio has to sound P H A T and T H I C C I remember spending ages just getting the rain to sound right on different types of headphones! I think there’s 5 different layers of rain in this track all edited separately and then mixed together… and the distant roar reverb actually moves across the stereo field as it fades to give the impression that the sound is physically travelling through the air on the horizon 🦖
What made the lost world the best sequel in the JP franchise is the fact that you don't need a bigger dinosaur to hunt you down, 2 Tyrannosaurs hunting you down is even worse than 1 predator like Spinosaurus hunting you down. Reason why I'm saying that is because you're dealing with 2 successful apex predators with a strong ass bite force, and the worse part is that you may not make it out alive because 1 Tyrannosaur can ambush you while the other Tyrannosaur chases you.
This is fantastic, I love stuff like this. It’s a shame films are only like two hours, I love getting really absorbed into the atmosphere and the rooms of a scene. But they always go by way too quickly, and they’re gone before you know it. And on top of that, barely anybody appreciates the sequel.
This is awesome! I'll save this for a dark rainy night so I can look out my window and listen to this. Curious, can you make a sleeping camp ambience just before the Rex attack in Lost World? "Let them sleep. One more hour."
Brings me back to the good old days when the dinosaurs in the JP franchise were actually terrifying creatures from millions of years ago, instead of bombastic walking set pieces.
me and my brother use to be obsessed with the high hide and draw loads of images of it on paper and fill it with all our favourite playstation 1 characters
@@rydekk-4644 sounds interesting! That's partially why I made these kind of things. @@Jurassicparkatmospheres Yikes, well, I'm writing the story between work hours, whenever I'm capable. I didn't expect it to be this difficult really, but the right music or ambience really helps. Yours are an amazing tool for me to 'get in the vibe'. As for my story, it's basically a story set before, during and slightly after the Isla Sorna incident. Robert Muldoon's son, also a park warden is sent to the mainland by John Hammond to investigate a string of animal murders on the mainland of Costa Rica. With locals claiming the 'chupacabra' to be at large. He soon finds out what the Chupacabra really is, and finds himself fighting off a new, deadly predator. I'm going to turn it into an audiobook aswel, Already used some easy AI modulators to narrate a few chapters. Still a lot of WIP, but the prologue slaps already :D ruclips.net/video/oc8FqG0Qf0M/видео.html
Lmao I'd sleep like a baby to this, saw the movie and wanted to be up there so badly, sound of rain drops going pitter-patter, the entire forest vast below me and the dinosaurs in all their might and glory driven by pure-predator instinct. Meanwhile I'm pumped with adrenaline hoping to b alive only to see the next sunrise. Fascinating n scary at the same time
This is the best ambience ever, I loved the Lost World with dear heart and I have always wanted to know what it feels like (or in this case sounds like) to be in the high hide. I think it’s a rather pleasing to know that your high up and far away from the dangers down below, which is probably why this comforts me
Eddie Carr: It's a High Hide. A High Hide. See, you go up and you hide, high. It goes up to where the trees are, and keeps the researchers out of harm's way. Ian Malcolm: Actually, it'll put them at a very convenient biting height.
Whoa! I never thought there was Jurassic Park ambience videos. Makes me feel like I'm there. Plus I have all 3 movies on my vhs player. Little scenario Me: Ah the hide high. Great video thank you so much for this I remember when The Lost World of Jurassic Park came out on video back in 1998 I was so excited and I went to see it on the 1st of August 1997 at the cinema
Most hated TLW but I thought it was incredible with the way it presented it's atmosphere and world building. The Abandoned Village always sends shivers down my spine. You've done an incredible job capturing that vibe!
There was a lot of dumb stuff in the second movie. The writing suffered more than anything. There's a lot of convenience and some scenes just don't flow well. But the action and atmosphere really help to sell the movie. The soundtrack is also excellent. The funny thing is that people love TLW for many of the same reasons that they cite hating JP3 and JW. It really goes to show that movies aren't always qualitative in that regard. You can like something for reasons other than a movie's writing, plot, world building etc. You will often cite ethereal qualities about a movie that ultimately just boil down to whether or not a movie resonates with you. And then you realise that there are people who feel the same about those other films. (To use an example. Trevor, above me. He loved how dark the movie was. I tend to agree. I thought that quality was really well executed. But some fans of the first movie missed having more of that fantastical quality that the first movie had before the horror came when the Dinosaurs were let loose.) I could talk at length about each book, movie, series, comic, game etc. because I've enjoyed it all. People need to let go and just enjoy the media. TLW is a pale ghost of the book in my opinion. I still thoroughly enjoy watching it.
This is such a great ambience I've been listening to this for the past 5 hours on repeat while studying for my big biology test and it helped me so much! I noticed your last post was a year ago, are you planning on making a new one? If so I was thinking maybe that garage in Jurassic World where Zach and Gray fix the car and in the background you hear the indominus would be reallt awesome. Have a great day!
Thanks! It's definitely the most popular one. I'd love to make more but I honestly don't get the time these days. It's just not a profitable endeavour. Kinda more of a hobby project now if anything. I'm not the biggest fan of the Jurassic world series, but definitely if and when I get back to it you can expect to hear more lost world vibes

I always loved the dark ambiance of this scene, how it was sorta calm with the rain but builds this slow creeping fear as you hear the dinosaurs below. I was looking for the original scene and i was so pleasantly surprised to find this
Thank you for this. This helps me to concentrate at work and I love the effort and dedication on this. You are amazing!
This most definitely is great for sleep. The sound of rain and roars in the background could not have been more relaxing.
Hey, I'm a big fan of the Lost World. I think it is the best of all the movies and it is clearly a T-Rex FEST! Thanks for putting this together. Pretty awesome! 🙂
Hearing the t-Rex’s footsteps made me hide under my blanket 😂
One of my go to vids for reading before bed. 10/10 vid.
You've created a brilliant and elaborated atmosphere here. Everything is blending in and makes it feel natural. The approaching T-Rex, the Rain on the roof, the whole soundmanagement is just on point. Thanks for that, you should have been much more known by youtubes community by now!
My 5yr old son just fell fast asleep to this he told me the t rex helps him relax lol, my man!!
Musician and videographer here 🙋🏻♂️ audio has to sound P H A T and T H I C C
I remember spending ages just getting the rain to sound right on different types of headphones! I think there’s 5 different layers of rain in this track all edited separately and then mixed together… and the distant roar reverb actually moves across the stereo field as it fades to give the impression that the sound is physically travelling through the air on the horizon 🦖
The asmr ambience lore is so much deeper than I thought 🤣
I like listening to this when camping in my roof top tent. The South Georgia humidity really adds to the whole experience.
Very cool and very suspenseful I love how it's just focused on the T-Rexes both mother and father together
If only this was 8 hours long. fantastic video though
Listening to this while reading Crichton's Novel of the first book
13:00 sends tingles down my spine, hearing a Trex walk so close to you would be a very amazing and frightening experience.
THIS deserves a Nobel prize!
Thank you 😅
I adore the t rex roars, so cool 😎 😍 🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖
I should play this outdoors when it's kind of raining. It could seem realistic there.
One of the best JP sleep audio files. :D
Def a go to sleep staple for me
This is awesome! I'll save this for a dark rainy night so I can look out my window and listen to this.
Curious, can you make a sleeping camp ambience just before the Rex attack in Lost World?
"Let them sleep. One more hour."
Every scene from the movies are on my to do list but I was just thinking of how cool that camp scene would be as a sleep aid 😆
You're setting us all up for nightmares ❤
'till the sound of foot step getting louder 'n Carter screams ... (alarm to wake up ...)
Really well done, takes me back to 90's jp as a kid. And its surprisingly still spooky af as an adult too
I’m going to go to sleep but I’m coming right back. I give you my word.
This is just delightful. Thank you.
Brings me back to the good old days when the dinosaurs in the JP franchise were actually terrifying creatures from millions of years ago, instead of bombastic walking set pieces.
Exactly!!!! Or treated like dogs or cats.
I need an 8 hour version of this.
ive been looking for this specific type of rain dino mix and its by far the best one
me and my brother use to be obsessed with the high hide and draw loads of images of it on paper and fill it with all our favourite playstation 1 characters
This is absolutely incredible! I feel like I'm actually there! You are so gifted! Thank you for this!
I’ve been using this to fall asleep for like a month
Not suitable for sleep? This is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for to sleep!
Criminally underviewed video
The first roar always gives me the chills. I'm so happy that you uploaded this. Thank you!
Thank you so much for making these. They're amazing for my JP fanfic book writing :)
@@rydekk-4644 sounds interesting! That's partially why I made these kind of things. I was writing fanfic for audiondramas about Sarah exploring the island alone and alternate timelines where the researcher expedition went uninterrupted but still had some dangerous moments. I wanted to turn them all into audio dramas or ambient tracks to go with a book of research findings (kind of like study tracks and field recordings).
Then I got a job 😂 and a load of complicated things happened in life 😂 then my hardrive with all my audio material got corrupted and I finally gave up 💀
@@Jurassicparkatmospheres Yikes, well, I'm writing the story between work hours, whenever I'm capable.
Still a lot of WIP, but the prologue slaps already :D

t-rex roar is better than thunderstorm
Lmao I'd sleep like a baby to this, saw the movie and wanted to be up there so badly, sound of rain drops going pitter-patter, the entire forest vast below me and the dinosaurs in all their might and glory driven by pure-predator instinct.
Meanwhile I'm pumped with adrenaline hoping to b alive only to see the next sunrise. Fascinating n scary at the same time
This is the best ambience ever, I loved the Lost World with dear heart and I have always wanted to know what it feels like (or in this case sounds like) to be in the high hide. I think it’s a rather pleasing to know that your high up and far away from the dangers down below, which is probably why this comforts me
"Actually, it would put them at very convenient biting height" Ian Malcolm.
@@struttux5156 lol, nice use of a TLW novel quote
Eddie Carr: It's a High Hide. A High Hide. See, you go up and you hide, high. It goes up to where the trees are, and keeps the researchers out of harm's way.
Ian Malcolm: Actually, it'll put them at a very convenient biting height.
It's so hard to find a video that has the deep t-rex roars like in the movie, please to have come across this one.
I never felt this calm in years before listening to this ❤❤
Whoa! I never thought there was Jurassic Park ambience videos. Makes me feel like I'm there. Plus I have all 3 movies on my vhs player.
Little scenario
Me: Ah the hide high. Nothing like relaxing day during the rainfall. The birds are squawking, the nice sound of the rain hitting the leaves. A pack of t rex are near by.
Wait what?!😊😳
This is my favourite scene from the 3 original films!!! I love this ambience this is the most perfect ambience. Youve done such a great job thank you so much!!
Thank you very much 🙏
This is amazing. I've always liked the jungle sounds and dinosaurs. They just seem to go together. Awesome job making this thank you.
Great video thank you so much for this I remember when The Lost World of Jurassic Park came out on video back in 1998 I was so excited and I went to see it on the 1st of August 1997 at the cinema
I love this so much thank you for uploading it
Jokes on you, I’ve fallen asleep to this every day this week
Ooo they are out there.. 🦖 😳😁😎
I had no idea how badly i needed this. Wow!
the footstep approaching is very frightening
Such a cool video! Searched for something like this 2 years ago and found nothing nearly as satisfying as this piece of art! Many thanks!
Most hated TLW but I thought it was incredible with the way it presented it's atmosphere and world building. The Abandoned Village always sends shivers down my spine. You've done an incredible job capturing that vibe!
Love the lost world! Thanks very much 💚
@@Jurassicparkatmospheres Anytime! 😊
It's a really good film, only part I don't like is the rather silly gymnastics bit..
I love the rather dark and desolate atmosphere in Lost World. Like, everything about it is vicious and forgotten by time.
But some fans of the first movie missed having more of that fantastical quality that the first movie had before the horror came when the Dinosaurs were let loose.)
I could talk at length about each book, movie, series, comic, game etc. because I've enjoyed it all. People need to let go and just enjoy the media. TLW is a pale ghost of the book in my opinion. I still thoroughly enjoy watching it.
I got goosebumps from this. Man, this is so good!
Before I searched for this I said, thinking it was really impossible, if this is on youtube its a true miracle...
Niche as it gets 😄
Amazing video dude, makes me nostalgic
Thank you 😁 same, I had so much lost world merch as a kid. Brings back good memories
Ahh yess I completely get that. Have a good day!
I use this a Study background. Jurassic Park sounds are the only thing that keep me going. Procastinating? Dino's gonna snack you. Chilling on insta? Dino's gonna snack u. Staring into the distance? Dino's definitely gonna snack u :D
