@@carolinebrereton579 She was much easier to find because of her status in society, Scotland, England etc., kept better records than most other countries, but when you venture much later than 1600, you have to depend on family records and history. If the family had status, such as land holdings, the records are better.
@wyoblacksmithtools3097 that's so interesting. My family is so scattered originating from near Russia, Ireland, France. Its wonderful you've found this information x
I love your videos! On this one the "background" music sometimes makes it difficult to understand what you were saying. It is not necessary, your delivery is charming and it's obvious you have done a lot of research.
I lived in Scotland in the early nineties and I and my friends used to drive from Keith to Findlater on a fairly regular basis. We went there to smoke and chill out and as the sun went down, we would go down into the castle and try to emulate a Gregorian chant. (We were rubbish, but it was fun, and we still managed to produce quite an eery sound) We once convinced one of our friends one evening to strip down to his underpants and go into the sea. It was October and I honestly thought he might die from exposure. I’ve never seen anyone’s skin go that shade of blue before. It was hilarious.😁
Why do you think it is that you only have now three comments in 6 months? Could it be possibly the world is fed up with the British Royals? And of course I know this Castle is in Scotland but it's all part of the same b******* I'm actually sorry that you spent your hard-earned money on this
I've done a few trips exploring castles and the ones in Scotland were my favourite by far. It's such a beautiful country and not very busy around the Highlands. I live in Canada but if I had to move somewhere, I'd likely pick Scotland. Great people too.
Wow, fantastic drone footage. I like it very much. great channel Thank you and have a nice week. Greetings Alex
I’m a Findlater ❤ I hope to take a trip one day thanks for sharing
My 16th great grandmother, Margret Ogilvy, was born in the castle in 1500.
That's amazing being able trace back to 1500

Nice location! Shame there’s so little left of the castle. I’m sure it was grand in its day!

Love it! Thanks for the banter😂😂😂👌❤️🏴
Das ist doch schon ein sehr außergewöhnlicher Platz für eine Burg.
Findlater inherited by the Clan Ogliviy through marriage to a Sinclair heiress.👌👍
You need to turn the volume of the music down so we can hear what you are saying
I loved the video but the blasted music in the background drowned out 40% of your monologue.
The music is so loud I can’t hear her talk!
Music is too loud…can’t hear uou

Maybe the sound quality. I can't hear her voice half the time. Otherwise they're good videos.
