Great video castle girl .. I am Scottish we are the Jaimeson clan and my aunty has married a Campbell from Scotland my uncle Mike a great hard working man .. when I look back as a child I remember my great grandfather holding his hand .. I think of the struggles his parents and his grand parents and great great grand parents had went though.. all the toiles and struggles that life may have brought people of those generations and the way life was .. I am a carpenter and I work in Edinburgh city centre .. I love the old designs and how great the masons works were and are! It amazes me .. I live next to gosford house in East Lothian an other place where the jacobites took residence on the up rise.. thankyou for your video ❤
Hi Castle Girl, your combination of history and video is perfection. Such a stunning castle in a stunning location. I will visit this castle in June. Thanks so much!
Hallo, klasse Aufnahmen von der Burgruine. Sogar von Innen hast Du Aufnahmen geliefert. Vielen Dank für Dein schönes Video. Like Nr. 92 ist von mir. Gruß Rainer aus Deutschland
I used to stay in Tilliecoultry and was always intrigued by this old castle. I now wish I had got a closer look as it sits in a commanding position and is well preserved considering its age.
I've been there a few times. It's a great place to visit. It's bit of a walk to the castle, but it's definitely worth it. Just a wee not, scheduled, as in a scheduled monument, is pronounced shed-u-lud. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you - such a long history, and now nice to see the tower is being looked after - so many are totally ruined. Seems everybody in Scotland's history stayed here at one time or another !
I love your videos Emily! The history content, the soft music, and the visuals are very nice! Something I especially enjoy is your authentic accent! I noticed in this most recent video, you smoothed out some of your pronunciation. Please don't water down your wonderful Scottish accent for me!! I vote to keep it true!
Thank you. I enjoy your videos.
Glad you like them!♥️🏴

Thank you. Another informative video. I'll be visiting in the autumn when midge season is over. I'll put this castle on my itinerary.

Highly appreciate your work.
Iam fond of your accent..the way you speak english..is it the irish style?
Seriously? That’s a Stirling area accent with a twist of proper throw in.
James IV, not IIII.
Cheers for the correction!😂 ♥️🏴
