- To celebrate Bodega's 15th year anniversary, they collaborated with New Balance to release a Made in USA 990 V3! This pair is crafted using premium suedes in various earthy, olive and khaki tones. It's accented with grey, blue and orange hits, for a very unique but unassuming look. Check out my review for a closer look, and big thanks to Bodega for sending over this pair to me!

If I could make one request Sean 🙏🏼…..please to do some lace swaps when shoes like this come with unique laces like the blue ones. That would lift the quality a little in your videos, well at least for me. Cheers
Agreed 100%. In the last Asics video he lace swapped only one of the shoes, which was fine. But I totally prefer to see the shoes fully lace swapped to see what they’d look like with alternate laces.

This has got to be the most underrated NB release in awhile. People were calling it bricks, well the resellers and im glad that the prices werent so high in general so i can double up.
So sad to see how much resellers set the price. The price of any shoe that dropped with bot protection is sooooo reasonable

Great review. It is bittersweet since I wanted this pair a lot, got through the queue super fast, but then had payment processing problems for more than 75 minutes (lost track of the time if much longer) until my size and even the workable alternative sizes sold out.

Payment issues happened to a lot of us. You should have stayed in cart and kept trying (don’t know if you gave up too early). I was able to check out 44 minutes after the drop. Got the error 6 times and switched between 2 payment methods. Very stressful!

I woke up 2 hours late and still hit in my size. Excited for these joints.
Not cheap, but you are definitely getting superb value for money. The Bodega name is definitely adding a few dollars to the price, but I would imagine that carbon fiber shank plate - which I don't think has ever featured in the 990 series before - is definitely the main reason for the price. Color blocking is amazing!

I got payment errors with my cards, then they sold out in my size. Later that day, my mom tells me she was able to get them in her size…..🤬

When my crypto investment takes off, I'm copping everything I missed or took an L on. The release for the shoe were a disappointment, but I can't get mad at Bodega because I've hit on previous releases, and their store brand collection hoodies are top notch in the quality department.
Also, the road to 100k is almost here. I'm glad we all can be on this journey with you, and hopefully you'll do a sneaker collection video when you cross that finish line. Cheers, mate.

I was able to snag a pair an hour after release, but only due to how effed up it was for everybody else. It definitely sucks for those who waited and got denied. Bodega really should just implement a raffle instead. I don't know why they don't.

I paid about $100 over retail for these, but I got the 990 Version 2 release for $90 under retail, so it works out lol
2 hrs of trying and ended with an L...if I'm going to pay resale for any it'll be the Salehe's next week...these would have been great for retail though..

I found these to run small compared to 2002rs. But I have an extremely wide feet because I am flat footed and have barely any arch. It might be too late but if you are wide footed it’s possible to go up half a size from tts. Or stay tts and take out the insoles and replace with something less bulky. I think the width is super narrow because the tongue is very thick and I have the same problem with sb dunk lows even though I am usually tts in highs or regular dunks.

Drop for these was absolute shit. I was in checkout repeatedly clicking pay for an hour. Then my size sold out while it was in my cart. I guess I'm going to have to pay $500 resell.
