I was watching stream today, I had a good time. I only left early because my shift was over at work.
Druid is by far the most versatile and most interesting class in the game.

I've only ever played Druid up until yesterday when I finally decided to give another class a try. I went with Barb and damn does it feel good.
I’m loving frozen orb Sorc. It’s one of my all time favorite skills and I’ve been waiting for it to be good.
I've had tempest since level 68, have tried so hard to make nado wolf work.
switched to bash barb and it's silly how much better barb is.

but that's not good enough for true end game.
my bash barb is level 67 and I'm easily killing levels 85+ in nightmares

I started Druid in the beginning and it was rough for levelling at different points of my journey. Spirit was a problem and it often felt like I was hitting mobs with a pillow. You really needed the right aspects and other things to make things feel good but man once everything comes together Druid was fun and it also felt like there were lots of fun directions to go in. Barb felt the same way for me. I did play Sorc in season 1 mostly cause I wanted to prove the class wasn’t as bad as people said and to prove I could play a build that wasn’t being shoved down my throat. I loved my lightning sorc(didn’t do ball lightning). Both classes along with Barb have seen some buffs to certain things since then along with general game changes so I’m excited to try levelling one again. I still believe having more player power built into the skill tree along with more points and a bigger skill tree we can invest in past 50 will improve the feel of levelling and stay ahead of the level scaling curb or at least on par
With the Starfall coronet meteor build just slaps I rolled a perfect 6s cool down on that one pair that with Blizzard and I just melt like mad
I was so close to giving up on druid. Had to throw up the white flag with my stormclaw build, which hit the wall at tier 60 pit. But I finally got a lightning storm build that I was able to push to tier 100 pit and I'm feeling pretty strong overall. Not a fan, however, of the fact that you are REQUIRED to use shepard's aspect, stampede, and 3 companion skills just to have a viable build.

Im running pulverize druid and at lvl 75 my dmg is just low, i survive but bosses take forever to kill. Maybe it helps that i got insatiable chest place and those shapeshiftibg unique boots
What druid needs is are wood clones. Yea finally finished my weretornado build, going to mastercraft my equips then probably going to drop it, rogue looks really fun so might pick that up
Crackling lightning/spear/chain is an awesome build. Could only clear to like 65 pit though. Swapping burning enchant for blades can get you much higher I’ve heard but I swapped to blizzard/ice spikes already.
When do you think we will get a new class? I hope we get a Monk class.

@@davidludwig7501 If I recall correctly they stated it would be a class that's never been in a Diablo game before. That means no monk.
edit: there was also a leak/datamine of a class called Spiritborn way back in November of last year

Our new favourite is our Heartseeker duo - the speed and mobility in just getting around, we've just hit 55 in a couple casual scrub sessions without a scratch, about to hit T4 cap dung & onto endgame! :) Really surprised at just how tanky the rogue is, once you stick on the right aspects & tempers - I just face tank the maidens and hellborne in T3 (that might change in T4, eh).
Will go back to our 85 duo necros at some point, and also the 35 druid/sorcs (Mrs is playing ice shards until she find the FO aspects :).

When season 4 started I wanted so badly to make a meteor sorc with the new unique. Definitely looked like the most fun. Unfortunately it's terrible for high end pit, even mid level pit tbh... maybe make the cooldown lower?
Boss dmg is the biggest problem with sorc. Everyone gets to do 10mils easily up to 100mil while we sit at2mil at the most
if you play a class that is not a druid, it will immediately be your favorite class, maybe apart from the rogue, although I prefer him over the druid

I feel the exact opposite, I've only played druid twice. Ran it For the first time in season 2 I ran storm claw and then I just started the warenado this season after finishing my necro and I find it to be some of the most fun I've had out of all classes
I got a rogue to 100 first and then went necro, and since I played barb every other season I decided on Druid and I’m surprisingly having a ton of fun pulverizing everything in my way

Playing druid and its honestly been a struggle to even hit level 58, like I want to get it to 100 just for the guardian title.

Sorc was my last class. I went Incinerate and meteor and was hoping for more but it maxes out way too fast.
Im having fun but when you have all your defenses maxed and you get 1 shot in t50 pits it's a real head scratcher, is the meta to instantly delete everything before it can hit you? I moved stuff around and i made it to t56 pits but the bosses one shot me now, there's too much going on on screen for dodge to reliably save you, get the boss down to 20% and suddenly the entire screen fills up with explosions, fighting tormented bosses or echo of lilith is like fighting ubers in d2 with no gear at all and being level one, i have decent gear and im not level one, masterworking all my gear isn't gonna make the difference from t56 pits to t100, if something can one shot you you shouldnt be able to do any damage to it at all, if you are level 100 and have decent gear that is upgraded you should make it to t100 fairly easily with any build, countless hours in s4 and i cant even get to the last masterworking resource lol, guess ill copy paste a build like everyone else, i find it less complicated to make a good build in poe.

Been playing sorc since D2, Wiz in D3, Mage in WOW....veteran range caster type :) They have the best movement and defensive skills.
I played barb twisters and really liked it, so I gave druid a shot because of the tornadoes.
I got my tempest from my first duriel kill. I was excited, only to then be disappointed that it sucks ass.
There are spirit management issues. Paragons have to be maxed out, or you can just play barb and steamroll through the game.
Sorcerer isn’t climbing the pit as well and my character just freezes randomly while not even CCD. Every class is bugged right now it feels with a bug patch. Like what in the hell (lol) is going on. Such a great game fixed system wise and then the base functionality doesn’t even function.
Sorc is my overall favorite. My thorns/bash barb is insane. I play them both equally. I just know that my sorc has a ceiling on Dmg and pit pushing, in walks in my Barb.

Incinerator sorcerer is fun too. Just a great character all around.
If you haven't already, try barb, the bash and Dual swing dust devil build is just rediculous. (and fun)

I spent the previous seasons trying to get tempest roar and the season it drops its value has decreased massively.
Tried a druid for the 2nd time since launch. Im only lvl 35 but i clear way faster than my sorc. Literally melts everything and never been close to dying. All bosses are just a few seconds. For Teleport i just use swipe. It jumps me right to them. Melts everything
I’ve first started with Druid season one, playing a necro and having way more fun over all.
I rolled a Druid during the demo (No that was not a beta stop it) it felt awful. And i loved Druids in D2. Rolled a Necro also and it felt fun as hell. :/ shame because i usually always tend to like the warrior based classes but this time....even the barb felt....weak

No gems, didn't add in my paragon points but you should get the gist.
@shawnadams1965 ya odk what I'm do8ng wrong I can do level 80 pits and level 100 dungeons but I can't even come close to killing an uber boss.
I have 670 vuln dmg and 600 crit dmg and I cant move the health bar on any uber boss lol
Druid was my Season 2 class and I loved tornado Druid. Now Necro minion is my favorite to play. I bet it gets nerfed though at the start of next season
I love Druid but the pain is real. I think there ahoukd benmore shape shifting synergy baned into the class without having tinrely on aspects and/or rare unique items. Wish some of the spirit boons were better too, no excuse for the bottom row of.boons have really nothing to offer a Tornado build besides a very lame heal.

I played sorc last season it was very fun. I like sorc more then wiz in d3.
I have a lvl 100 in each class this season except my lvl 80 Druid. Just not fun to play and I gave up that class
I rolled sorc first this season and I was stoked that I squeaked by the T4 capstone at 58. After hitting 100 I rolled a drood and facerolled it at 52, then rolled straight into helltide and was still able to survive. Sorcs are still too squishy for not doing more damage than other classes with far better survival.
This will always be a problem with any mage/wizard/sorc/warlock etc in every RPG. They get shit defense because they're supposed to be glass cannons right? But then every other class throws a tantrum when they can't do the same damage so they get turned into iron cannons. Casters are _SUPPOSED_ to do more damage than other classes, but every sword and board wants to feel like a special boy so they get the same damage but don't get the same shit survivability. I get tired of this shit happening in _every_ freaking game.
Play a game with an actual skill tree that allows for more customization of skills and defenses. Diablo 4 ain't it.
@@Pogey_Bait options and build diversity do not counter his critiques. Sure, build diversity could be better in D4, but a game doesnt need 50 abilities in order for it to fulfull the class fantasy. Sorc feels quite bad rn, and it could feel much better without needed 6 other abilities added

This is such a bad take for so many reasons.
1 - far too squishy ? Sorc can litteraly be invincible this season
2 - drood is being on par with sorc regarding how bad they are this season (and I don't even care, I don't need my class to be completely OP as long as I can also do endgame content)
3 - mage / warlock / wizard are very strong in a lot of rpg : hello DnD, Diablo 2, Elden Ring, Last Epoch, WoW
4 - who's throwing a tantrum right now because their class is not the OP one this season ? (And it still can be fixed, we are only two weeks in)
Mage always on top 5 list in most RPG so far, especially in ARPG scene.

The windaddy druid is working best for me. Pulverize was great at trash clear but terrible on bosses. windaddy melts the bosses and defenses are great. Still need to try a wolf build. Have alll the pieces. Maybe a new character for that one.
I love the idea of Druid. I do not like what we have though. It's very discouraging to play a game when the class fantasy you want to play in it sucks.
I feel like sorc is one of those classes that really shines with a mouse and keyboard and is not so great on a console with a controller.

I picked up druid for the first time and it might be my favorite class so far. It has some really cool aspects people are sleeping on.
And what aspects would those be exactly.
Druid is terrible. My necro and Barb push pit 110s. My druid pushes pit 80s. It's a garbage class. If you can get those "slept on" aspects to push pit 110s lemme know bro
I'm so scared to bring my Necro to uber Lilith. I would only do it for the achievement, but it is scary AF lol

Think about it for a minute when looking at the top class per season so far.
Season 1: Rogue
Season 2: Sorc
Season 3: Barb
Season 4: Necro
Season 5: ?
Necro isn’t the top class in season 4, it’s still barb…. Necro is strong, but not cream of the crop everyone thought they would be.
After playing all the classes im having the most fun playing druid.. its not the strongest but its fun , and thats all that matters :)
So not a good season until Druid is tops gotcha
I'm still wishing for Druid to get an additional companion skill that summons a big bear like Necro's golem and increase the base number of wolves to 5 so that it feels like you're a pack leader or something. Also, Druid might benefit from an additional ring slot or two, of course they gotta tweak the stats on the other gears so that it isn't too broken.
Its also the Dumbest looking class , Blizzard hates druids
Lighting storm still whoops ass just don't expect to not get 1 shot in the pit. Unless you're a barb or exploiting flame shield any class seems weak high in the pit unless you're a haxxor streamer

Tried sorc this season, loved it, geared it up, realized how bugged and bad the damage was , gave up on it. It's so sad
