well… this aged well
Extraordinary well
It's like when Russia said for a month they would invade Ukraine and everyone thought they were bluffing and they just did what they promised lmao
"whos gonna tell him"
I remember seeing a video about Russia just pretending they’re about to invade Ukraine, 1 hour before they did. No joke.
@@wile123456 hm.. I'm Russian and I actually remember watching Russian TV in February 2022 and a lot of those "close to the government" people were saying: pff no we’re not gonna invade Ukraine we don’t even care about that stupid country…. and then it happened😅
Thumbnail update: They just did 💀
Yes they did
In the USA, Truong My Lan would be on the cover of a magazine.
Lol yeah.
In the Philippines, Truong My Lan would’ve been elected as president.
In India, she would have been made to join the BJP.
Yeah the vietnamese government is more sensitive for competition.
In Canada, she’d be made minister of housing
Spoiler alert: they launched a handful of drones.
You misspelled hundreds
300?
Spoiler: They just did!
A scheduled attack? Can they also reveal if it's before or after lunch?
Exactly lol
Maybe coordinated with US. So they are waiting for US stock markets to close 😜
Bro all atacks are scheduled
thats how intelligence goes
It is way more common for Iran and Iran's proxies to schedule their attacks and say this to the public.
It is because they want to struck fear in Israel and cause panic, but we are used to this, and we already know that if they attack it would've probably happened a day or a week later to try causing even more panic here.
and it would've probably happened before lunch, they like to strike us in the mornings...
I really don't want to see an escalation in the region, but like what is Iran supposed to do? Its consulate is targeted by Israel, which is an act of war. If Iran doesn't do anything, what message would that send? Like I'm genuinely asking, what alternative is there to striking back ?
NOT striking back (hope this helps)
The exact same thing they did last time this happened. A lot of saber rattling, israel reacts and puts up high defense giving "face" to the saber rattling, then after about two weeks of doing this follow up with a symbolic attack (probably a bunch of rockers from hezbolah that get shot down) that is virtually meaningless.
Iran has enough problems at home and can't afford to escalate anything, this was a very finely calculated attack by israel to prevent iran from joining the war.
They could always do what other countries have done when Iran attacked their consulates and embassies.
Stop funding Hamas, Hezbollah, and Houthis is a good start.
@thetukars israel wouldn’t be getting away “Scot free” because, if you weren’t aware, last October saw the biggest slaughter against Israelis since the countries creation, by an Iranian proxy government. This is a response to that. Iran cannot afford an all-out war with Israel, much less the USA. They know this, so instead use proxy governments such as hamas, hezbollah and the Houthi’s to attack Israel. They are cowards, and your “genuinely asking” doesn’t seem too genuine when you don’t seem to realise that war is so much bigger than getting off “Scot free”. A war between Israel/USA and Iran would mean 10000s of deaths, if not more, and an era of conflict in the Middle East. It’s not about sending messages, it’s about defending your countries right to exist.
Victor Orban and Donald Tusk?!Do my ears decieve me or am i just high?
Aaaaand there goes any chance of passing PiS in popularity. Kinda sad, I hoped for more reforms, less continuing PiS' alliances and their policies on migration
@@janhumiecki2827 too bad for you europeans and your first world problems 🤣🤣
It´s time to open the floodgates..urhmm urhrm.... doors for new europeans to Poland and Hungary.
@@apyllyon Good. Why should we in the Mediterranean be reduced to these countries' migration dump basket when they don't even want to be here? They don't enter our countries for our countries, they enter to travel further. I say let them! What do we get in return from Poland & Hungary anyways? They're net RECEIVERS of EU money! We PAY them & they in return use us as a trash dump?????
If our leaders had any respect for us, we'd fly all these immigrants directly to Poland & Hungary just for their shameful selfish self-centred display.
There's nothing surprising about this, Donald Tusk was always anti-immigration. In fact, he was always even more anti-immigration than the PiS, he literally called illegal immigration a ''threat to civilization'' and said that ''Poland will not accept a single migrant under EU relocation scheme'' months ago.
I'm guessing the people surprised by this only knew one thing about Tusk and it was that he was Pro-EU. But being Pro-EU really doesn't automatically makes you pro-immigration.
TLDR: Yes
Israel said it would strike back if Iran made an attack. So, only Israel is permitted to attack, and any retaliation is not permitted?
Iran litterally been attacking Israel from Gaza, west bank, lebanon, syria, iraq and yeman since oct 7th.............
They are the aggressora here.
wym? Hezbollah is an Iranian proxy that has been constantly attacking Israel directly on their territory. Israel would be completely justified in declaring full scale war against Iran if they wanted to.
@ghosthunter0950 hezbollah only became a thing because Israel occupied southern Lebanon, what you saying.
By this logic russia would be allowed to attack the US because they're supporting Ukraine. This is also fitting because Russia are also first aggressors like Israel@@ghosthunter0950

Just a little news that Indian Foreign ministry has published an advisory and asked people not to travel to Israel and Iran until further notice. The last time we put an advisory like this, it was for Ukraine

@@leanflavoredpringles2353 It's not. Such warnings are common public information announced by nations to warn their citizens and sometimes a not so subtle hint to the other country they are out of line.

Not an attack, Iran was defending itself
So is that a UK specific games awards thing? Because I thought BG3 had already won game of the year.
That was the American "Video Game Awards", this was the "Bafta" they're separate events.
British Acadamy of Film and Television Arts, so yes it's a UK thing
Legally the attack on the consulate is the same thing as an attack on Iranian territory but nothing Iran has said points to an attack on Israel itself or that they are in a hurry having previously stated it would take place 'at a time of our choosing.' A very silly distraction from other recent bad publicity in the region.
Hello from the golan hights, some missiles did come from the north and 1h ago, but we belive that it's not what iran was meaning, but it was just a misssile trade of iran's proxy and israel .
Sorry for the spelling, i was focus on other thing while doing it .

@@calvinware7957long story shot, from a druze no thank, i would like stay an israeli and not syrian, that's all .
@Adam-wg2rf ur opinion doesn't matter the golan heights is internationaly recognized as syrian territory
a consulate and an embassy are not the same thing. while an attack on a consulate is a serious matter it is not always analogues to an attack on domestic soil like an attack on an embassy is. even then it is technically the host nation a diplomatic mission is ultimately protected from. not third party actors. that is why everyone responded so harshly to Ecuador's raid on the Mexican embassy with sanctions and severing of several diplomatic ties. but any response to the hit on this consulate will likely only come from Iran alone. Basically Embassy attacked by host nation. normal for the entire region to respond. Consulate attacked by third party. normal for only the guy who has the consulate to respond (And even then it is often ignored for the sake of convince) also if say Mexico attacked Ecuador for attaching their embassy. Mexico would still be wrong. though less wrong than Iran would be for launching an attack into Israel. if on the other hand Iran were to hit a similar target belonging to Israel in a third parties territory... well... that would be proportionate. though it risks angering that third party. just as this risked angering syria... though syria isn't in much of a position to do anything about it (which is likely why this was done.)
it is absolutely wrong to attack a consulate. it however is absolutely not equivalent to attacking a nations home territory like an embassy is.
ideally

No retaliation mean iran losing regional major power status, its like public humiliation
Retaliation mean iran will face world major power, and i don't think they have the time and resources to deal with the consequences
Why are you guys reporting about games?

Immigration is the single most important policy in Europe. The EU is flooding Europe with migrants and replacing native Europeans. Europe is a former shadow of itself. In what society do you want your children to live, days of unity or days of division. Which way western man?
Yes. But why?
Do it or noballs?
Blatent noballs.
I never thought I’d be writing this but Iran’s in a tough spot. Retaliate and risk an immense regional war, don’t retaliate and your deterrence capacity becomes nil since you threaten more than you have the ability to carry out.
At best if they do retaliate, it becomes a tit for tat type of thing, at worst WW3. No pressure.
It's as if Iran didn't strike first all of their proxies are acting on their behalf Hezbollah alone wouldn't start wars with Israel they're doing that as act of war of Iran so Israel is doing nothing but retaliation to Iran's non stop aggression

Can you blame Iran for being sick of the genocidal state in their region?
As much as I love video games, their inclusion in the usual TLDR content is always a bit of a tonal lurch- I’m not sure if the success of Baldur’s Gate should get equal billing with migration controls and middle-east geopolitics
Not to mention the game awards, of any variety, are a joke.
@@zUJ7EjVD Don't me started on the recent Oscars.

USA: the audacity those Iranians have for seeking revenge
Absolutely. The Iranians are hypocrites for complaining about things they do themselves.
The problem isn't Iran retaliating, it is that Iran spends so much money to put Israel in as much danger as possible simply for existing (assuming they have the same ideology as Islamic militants in Gaza).
The word revenge would imply israel has done anything wrong.

I mean I love BG3 as much as the next person, but it doesn't really feel like matches the tone of world events and geopolitics focus this show has. I doubt they ever mention the Oscars or Emmy's ever. Their explanation on how video games are effectively the largest sector of the entertainment industry does make it important, but not that much.
