Great review. Congrats on getting your hand on this razor! I think you should consider a shave-off between this and the recently released Parker Variant OC. I hear the OC Variant is efficient and potentially slightly smoother than the CC Variant.

Awesome shave Tony. Those Merkur razors are fantastic, I don't think I've ever had my progress on anything above 3. That soap performance is top too, a week's growth didn't stand a chance with that combo.

Great Shave Tony in India we have a similar razor to the Progress which is the Parker Variant which is a little more aggressive than the Progress

@@averageguytestedYour video was genuine review..there is no comparison between legend ie. merkur progress n it's copy parker variant..merkur progress can easily be the largest ever sold razor since production started way back in 1955.. people miss the whole point..how can we compare something which still sells for past 70 years with something just launched or already out of production like Gillette slim etc ? Comparison should be if both sold for same time n r still popular with the masses ..my question is can parker variant still sell at same price as Merkur progress? Can slim command premium over progress without rework or touch ups?
