I love how your favorite coffee shop has a special parking place for bikers.
I quickly looked at flight costs and motorcycle rentals… ride through, park, have some coffee.
It looks so sharp. It will be a treat to see how you customize it.
Congrats from the United States, I have a 2015 Scout it’s awesome
you’re right the accessories can get a little pricey but if you plan on keeping it for a while it’s well worth it
the bike is a huge compliment getter pretty much everywhere I go
Tons of power, nimble and just fun to ride
enjoy it
Indian did a great job with this bike. It pulls like an express train and puts a huge smile on your face. I’ve yet to take it out and not have someone compliment the bike.
Delighted with your impulse buy. It’s a stunning motorcycle. The dealer where I bought my bike sells Indians and I sat on a Scout while I was closing the deal on my Interceptor. I definitely see the appeal, especially traveling long distance or two-up. I’m looking forward to watching you customize it though it doesn’t seem to need much.
I did the same thing. I impulse purchased a 100th Anniversary Scout. I really love it!
Thank you for sharing this!
Nice. The 100th anniversary bike is stunning. Congratulations.
Congrats on the new ride. The Scout is a great bike with lots of power and great looks. I am sure you will enjoy it for lazy rides on Sunday and an longer touring rides.
Cheers Dom, can't wait to take it on a proper ride. Fingers crossed it won't rain this weekend.
" wow" congratulations
what a lovely bike, enjoy the cruising,
Cheers Jason. Thanks for watching 👍
That’s fantastic, a Scout! I love watching your videos, not just because of the altogether cool way you present everything, but I lived in London for 10 years and I miss it.
Of course I’d like to take credit for asking you to do a review on a Scout Bobber😂.
Anyway looking forward to lots of videos with you modding the Scout.
Thanks Christian. You can take some of the credit, I didn’t think too much about the Scout until people started mentioning them in my Speedmaster Post. 👍
I was just kidding. Really can’t wait to see what you think of it when you ride it some more.
Beautiful bike. I went the Harley route for no other reason than I have a dealer down the road from me. Cannot beat the feel of a v-twin, congratulations on your new ride.
Thanks Mark. So true, the soul of these bikes has to come from a big V twin. That’s what swung it for me over the Speedmaster.
Great review, just go one, willow and cream! can’t wait for it to turn up
Nice. Congratulations!
Very beautiful, aesthetically, mechanically, and audibly.
Welcome to the Scout world...brother!!
Congrats. Scout is a great bike.
Cheers 😎
These are a lovely bike! If you don't want a Harley or a triumph, I think they're bang on the money and the history of them is insane. Very nice, looking forward to more content on this one. Always fancied an Indian myself. 😎👌👍
Thanks mate. More on the way soon 👍
Congratulations on the new Scout , what a beautiful looking machine great colour scheme , the clock also looks mint , please remove that horrible warning sticker on the tank thought J, hope your enjoying it sounds amazing and looks so much fun 👍🏻
Thanks Dale. Yes that warning sticker is gone (just as soon as I find my heat gun).
Congrats on the new bike!... I thought you'd be more of a Scout Bobber kind of guy.
Scout bobber is awesome, but this one will be better for pillion and luggage etc.
Great choice 👍😀🥳
Big congrats on the new bike Mr WM.
A much more interesting and off the wall choice than the Thai-umph you were considering, IMHO.
Yeah go on......fling it into corners Dood......... grind those hero blobs down, and thrash it like ya stole it!!!
Thanks mate, yes this bike feels like is has a lot more character. It won't be long before sparks start flying i'm sure 😬
Very cool… congrats!
Cheers 🍻
I definitely want one of these in the bobber flavor as my next bike. Nothing else on the showroom floor has the kind of presence the Scouts do
Congratulations, That a lot of bike. I rode the FTR which was awesome but you’re right about the cost of parts that’s what put me off.
Thanks Ian. Yes it’s something I found out after getting it. Oops. They are very good quality parts, but stupid money.
Beautiful bike.
Welcome to the Indian group. The bike content on my channel is mostly Indian Scout bobber and much of that will translate. Nice bike and congrats!
Thanks mate. I’ll check it out.
Very well done mate, and thanks for the info on brake upgrade, as that is a must, living down here in "God's Waiting Room." (South Florida)
Bought a Scout on the strength of this review, couldn't be happier, except as you say swapping out front brake and shocks for the brembo and ktechs
Ktechs are awesome! Recently fitted them :)
Congrats! Best choice, and you're obviously proud of it. Enjoy the honeymoon. 👊🏼
Congrats getting your better half on the Tuono! I wouldn't ride around the block on that Always Ultra piece i got in the box with the bike :-D
Hope you will be happy with the Indian!
Cheers!
She screamed for most of the journey so we won't be doing that again anytime soon!
@@WildlifeMoto Oh, i can imagine!! :-D
Beaut!!!!!
Thinking of a Speedmaster at moment, love the symmetry on it, pipe each side, twin front discs. Think you'll need a remortgage now won't you 😆
The Speedmaster is amazing, such a beautiful bike! The brakes are fantastic too. I could just sell my house and live in a big garage 😂
I’m considering the Vance and Hines on my 22 scout, but worry about them being obnoxiously loud.
If the stock pipes are at a 1 or 2 on a scale of 1-10 for being loud, what would you say the Vance and Hines slash cuts are at?
Thanks mate!
They are pretty loud, not horrible but significantly louder than stock. Apparently they do sell baffles that you can use to quiet them down.
I’m so jealous. Scout Bobber is my dream bike! Enjoy it bro. Be good to know how it handles In the city during rush hour
Thanks mate. Seems to handle well in the traffic, it gets hot though!
Did you add exhaust ?
I do like the Scout range. And I know what you mean about Indian accessory prices! I have a FTR Rally- the luggage racks and bags to make it something near practical are £1100 😱. Then after I bought it, Indian were throwing them in for free!!! I've added the rear rack (to bolt an aux petrol can as the tank is only 13l) for a trip round Wales and to the ABR Festival. And strapped on my old Oxford luggage kit. It's a fun bike to ride.
My riding buddy has the Indian scout and the Indian Challenger both brand new bikes. I’ve had a go on them both there beautifully built bikes. There’s a lot of heat on them both though that I noticed on the right hand side. I ride a Triumph Trophy SE and an Aprilia Mana 850 with the CVT. The Aprilia has only 3200KM on it and barely any of them over here. Watching from Alberta Canada originally from the UK 👍👍👍 Indian parts are expensive here too but the scouts are not selling too well here because it’s a small bike for our big roads in Canada. Ride safe 👍👍👍
I need to get over to Canada and check out those big roads. Hard to believe the Scout could seem small, it feels huge to me. Thanks for watching 👍
Welcome to the scout family !
Thank Brian. A great family to be a part of.
That's more like it,👍Exclusive as well.
Thanks Mick 👍
Great review!
I have a royal Enfield interceptor and love it!
I really like the Indian scout too!😁
Do you think you could tour on it?
What a great video. really enjoyed watching it. I get my indian at the end of March when it gets shipped over. I've gone for the bobber. But I really want to upgrade the seat. and fit a pillion seat and back rest. Can you tell me which seat is on yours. I may have to do some mods for the back rest/rack to fit mine, but think the drivers seat and pillion should fit. If you could let me know, would be much appreciated. look forward to some more vids on the indian. Cheers. Nick
Hi Nick. Hope you are enjoying your new bike? The rear seat on mine is the OEM pillion seat. Link here www.indianmotorcycle.com/en-us/shop/accessories/seats-backrests/genuine-leather-passenger-seat/
Congratulations 🍾 on the new bike man 🤘🏼looking forward to your videos on it. 😀
Thanks Stuart. 👍
I'm not a fan of loud motorcycles but I do like the looks of those pipes, they look a lot better than the stock ones.
They are quite loud. They sell baffles if you want to silence them a bit.
@WildlifeMoto - Loved your video style and content. I've had a Speedmaster 1200 for the last 4 years and I'm very happy with it...BUT having seen the Scout I'm talking myself into thinking it's a Speedmaster in a pleasingly better way - soon to have a test ride but I'm interested why you chose the Scout in the end... Do you discuss this in another video??? Love to know!
Hi. I loved the speedmaster but it felt very sensible compared to the scout. The scout definitely has a greater fun factor. These types of bikes really should have a loud v-twin.
Are you using your inexpensive VOiP mic plugged into your media mod here?
👍 yes
@@WildlifeMoto Thank you! Because of your recommendation I have subscribed to your channel and ordered the Media Mod and a few of the 'non UK Amazon' VOiP mics to try. I ride a Zero DSR which is silent and love to hear the sounds of the roads or dirt I travel upon. As an ex motocross and road racer I formerly LOVED the sounds of a two stroke or booming Vtwin race bike. But the wind noise has been awful even with the Wind Slayer. So fingers crossed that this works as well for me as it has for you.
Thanks mate. Good luck with the mic.
Beautiful new bike! I picked up a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 last month and am in the process of kitting it out with a lot of help from your vids 👍🏻 You’ve probably answered this question a million times but what helmet is that you are wearing? Cheers 🍻
Thanks David. Glad the videos have been helpful. The helmet is a Nexx XG100 Purist. It’s a great lid for low speed riding (not great on faster roads though because of the visor).
@@WildlifeMoto Much appreciate the reply. Looking for a lid mostly for city riding. Might have to take a look and see if one can come about a Nexx here in Dublin.
As an American, yeah. It’s tiny but it’s adorable 😀😃
Nice bike,
Liking your channel, different to the same old ono that are out there.
Ps what the Indian like on fuel ?
Thanks Tony. It’s probably doing 45 to 50MPG, so pretty good.
I fitted a Pirelli night dragon tyre on the front of my scout. I highly recommend this upgrade
This bike has Night Dragons fitted. I’ve not really pushed them yet, but they seem to have loads of grip.
Oh I have stage one fitted but the bike didn't really perform until I fitted a power commander two blocked the O2 sensors and dyno tuned the beast
@@DavoBatty Nice! I'll add that to the list of things to get done. Cheers.
Definitely a marmite type of bike looks wise and whilst not for me it’s great you have another bike to play with 👍
100% not going to be for everyone. It’s a bit of LOLO fun for me, I’m not taking the cruiser thing “seriously” at all.
One very important Mod you have not done is adding the LED headlight, this is the first mod anyone should do.
Can you recomend a good unit?
Is that a nexx helmet?
Yes 👍
I thought you would have gone the 860 route! But, big & brash Americana especially in the UK will be noticeable.😉 Prefer the interceptor WM.
The BB kit is still very much on my mind :) The Interceptor is still my fave too
😁👌
Congratulations, sir! I've had my 2021 Indian Scout ABS for just about a year now. What a sweet bike! Impressed that you also didn't go for the Bobber model. Nothing wrong with it at all, just nice to see someone else appreciating the vintage inspired silhouette. Welcome to the tribe!
Oh, and since you mention your wife will be riding with you - I highly suggest getting those rear shocks upgraded to something like Progressive 444s. I also replaced the seats with Corbin seats. My wife loves it now!
Yes I love the classic style over the bobber.
What helmet do you have? looks great
Thanks sam. It’s a Nexx XG100 Purist. Good lid for lower speed riding.
What type of helmet is that it’s cool
Hi. It’s a Nexx XG100 purist.
I must know what helmet that is! ??
It’s a Nexx XG100. Cheers.
Hey bro how tall are you?
Just under 6ft
Absolutely beautiful bike 😍, you know what else is beautiful that leather jacket, where did you get it?
Thank you sir. The jacket is a vintage 1970s piece from a German brand called Erbo. I found it in second hand shop in Covent Garden.
@@WildlifeMoto was it the weigh and pay? I noticed a few nice jackets in there, managed to get myself a very 70s suede jacket from there a few months back
That’s the one. They usually have some nice leather jackets and military surplus gear.
Cracking bike! I also might consider the Scout, I have a Vulcan S Performance and a RE Interceptor at the moment, but love all types of bikes and will soon test ride a Moto Guzzi V7😁
Test ride with caution, you might end up riding off with one 😀
Atar dam koto???
I really like the look of those Indians ... Sadly they are waaay above my Prince range.
好喜歡這圖裝的印地安哦
F**k! It's wonderfull!
You know I ride a Himalayan and I'm thinking of a Scout. I have to prepare for the accessories on an Indian costing more than the Himalayan. Funny and true.
Himalayan and Scout would be a perfect combo. But, yes, those aftermarket parts - ouch!
I would say good choice going with this than the Speedmaster. As for this being expensive... If 'expensive' was a problem then you wouldn't have been able to buy it anyway. 😏
Thanks 😊 - I’m lucky that I’m able to buy this stuff, but these prices certainly sting.
@@WildlifeMoto 'I'm lucky that I'm able to buy this stuff' So many people don't even think about this statement when it's applicable to themselves, but you recognise this. Respect. 😊👍🏼
For shits and giggles I love my enfield, for long range comfy riding I take my triumph thunderbird 1600
Performance shocks wont offer more comfort, actually a stiffer ride.
Thinking something with adjustment so I can set them up for pillion and luggage etc.
The wife needs one of her own. Nothing better than a fine woman riding behind you, than one riding beside you.
