Nice review! I am looking ahead of my big test at larger cruisers and was contemplating the Indian Scout over the HD Softail Standard. I like this bike! Great to see a fellow biker doing reviews of cruisers in Scotland. :) I like how you broke this down into sections too. Helps when skipping to relevant parts.
Hi Thomas! Thanks for your words and I hope it helps you make a decision!
I never tried the Standard but judging by the Sport Glide it would be a very nice bike to ride with lots of room for making it your own if you so desire.
Between the Scout and the Softail Standard, looks wise I'll have to give it to the Scout, especially the Scout bobber! It just looks awesome!
Scotland is easily the best place to ride cruisers, nice and slow enjoying the awesome scenery!
When you get your big test take them both for a test ride, as potential buyer both Indian and H-D would be more than happy to get you to try one ;)
Good luck for the test and let me know which bike you decide to get!
Take care!
@@MOTOSPELL Cheers, Spell.
Yeah, I have to agree on the looks of the Scout. It's a toss up between the two. It seems that upgrades for Indian are pricey, although, I like the act you can configure stuff, which I could not find for H-D.
Scotland is an amazing place for cruising. I'm up in Forres, Moray, so there's nice runs locally and then south down to the Cairngorms, Loch Ness, etc., is amazing, although, I've not ventured that far on the bike yet.
Got my theory booked yesterday for December, so looking like next year for mod 1 and 2 when the weather will be half decent. I definitely plan on heading to Edinburgh to test ride.
Love the videos and great to see someone showcasing Scotland. More, please! :) If you're ever up this way, give us a shout - I'd be up for a ride.
Excellent presentation. I appreciate your attention to detail. Very nice scenery, too. I hope you can continue to produce these videos, and I look forward to your next installment. Well done!
Thank you very much! The Scottish scenery is awesome! Take care!
Good video mate. Considering one of these for my first bike in about 20 years. Also was good to see you cruising around Edinburgh, my home town. Very informative review. Cheers!
Thanks Mike!
It really is a great machine and if you buy it I'm sure you are going to love it! To be fair I should have bought it instead of the Vulcan S! Stop by Alba Customs/Saltire, Levi is a great guy and he will be able to get you a test ride! Just be prepared to fall in love hehe
It's awesome to be able to ride around Edinburgh and all over Scotland in general, we just need some more heat waves ahah
Take care!
Amazing review brother. Well done. Really indepth with lots of details that riders actually need to know. 👍
Thank you Stefan! Take care!
I just bought a 100th anniversary Scout! I'll pick it up in a few days! Thanks for sharing this excellent video! Enjoy your bike!
Thank you, Joseph! Congrats on your new bike! :D How are you finding the bike? Are you enjoying it?
Take care!
@@MOTOSPELL it is excellent, I'm really liking it!
@@MOTOSPELL I love it! Much more power than I was expecting! And it is light and nimble too! It's a great addition to my Vintage!
Very nice review, makes you wanna get one and ride haha! Actually just purchased one , bike looks great!
Well done! How are you enjoying it? I have to say the Scout Rogue looks absolutely fantastic! Would love to buy one!
Take care!
Very well done. I have a Scout on order expecting it in a few weeks. Eager awaiting delivery.
Congratulations on your new Indian. When did you order your bike and when do you expect it? I ordered the new Chief Darkhorse April 22nd and it is still in TBD status.
Hope you enjoy it! Have you had it delivered already? Take care!
Not yet, estimated ship date is July 1st.
im lookin for this bike and it heps a lot thanx! bro
Hi there! Awesome! I'm happy it helped!
Take care!
Looks 👍 you weren’t too far from me on those roads 😀
Nice scenery right at your door step then :p
I once read that a guy took 4 hours to change the spark plugs. Not your usual simple vee twin.
Hopefully that’s something you don’t have to do often. On the Sport Glide on thing that annoys me is the location of the battery! It’s a bloody pain to get access to it!
Take care!
Lovely bike. Only problem is the lack of dealers here in the UK. Besides think my Low Rider (softail) is the best!! Thanks
Yes, it is a shame indeed! I’m in Edinburgh so I’m lucky I have a dealer here but that’s it, that’s the only one in Scotland. I would prefer the Low Rider too, so I don’t blame you haha
Take care!
Agree that a Scout can be a logical upgrade from a Vulcan due to its higher power and torque., but I must say I’m surprised that you felt that it is more refined than a Vulcan.. In general, American bikes are known to lag behind their metric competition in terms of refinement..
humm... I think it's the metric cruisers that are lagging behind nowadays. There's not that many on the market, especially in Europe (Vulcan S and Rebel 500/1100). There isn't a single metric v-twin cruiser option in the European market.
Would this be an okay choice for a first bike?
Hi! Sorry it took me 8 months to reply, but as you can see here on my channel, I went through a very bad moment.
If you did your training on a 650cc bike or similar, yeah, it's perfectly fine for a first bike! She's good fun to ride, in my opinion!
Hy ! How tall are you ? thanks for your vids
Hi there! Thanks for your comment! I'm about 5"10 (1.79cm)
Take care!
@@MOTOSPELL I'm tall exactly same as you. Just purchased my new Indian Scout this week, it's coming in july.
Cheers from n.e. Italy, thanks for sharing 👍.
Hi bro very nice photo vedio
Thank you so much 😀 Take care!
Bro.... You sound like you are over sexualizing the motorbike !!! Take it easy lol !!!
Ahaha good one! Take care my friend!
