Jango Fett fights an ex Mandalorian named Montross. They have fight over who will win the bounty on Komari Vosa. This is a cutscene from Star Wars Bounty Hunter video game from 2002
Alternate title: Jango Fett vs. Mr. Krabs
I just looked it up it’s mr krabs
@@theman-delorean200 yeah he also voices Savage Opress in Clone Wars
I actually had never thought of that. Pretty cool
Don't forget Lex Luthor.
He also voices Hank from Detroit Become Human PS4 game
“The hunts nearly over, I can smell it, that smelly smell that smells... smelly.”
This comment deserves more appreciation
It’s even better if you imagine it with the “outtake” from that scene
ANCHOVIES!

@@asscrack244 “Lazy”….is a bit harsh. Characters exchange insults all the time. 😂 It’s just a subtle nod.
I don’t think that Montross was being mean to him, but I believe that montross was commenting about the similarities between Jango and montross such as their skills and possibly their mandolorian fighting styles, too…
“Don’t write me off til you watch me die. Face to face.”

*That's not Mr. Krabs! That's ROBO-KRABS!*
This game is canon to me since it explains how Jango had both the Slave 1 and his son Boba.
Theres nothing to really contradict this game from canon to be honest
@@MegaPikachu5 except jango being a mandolorian which never was
YES!
@@MrBurakOzel Doesn't contradict that either since Almec isn't exactly a trustworthy person, not to mention The "New Mandalorians" would have disowned him regardless in order to maintain neutrality, given that Jango was involved with Count Dooku.

"May the best man win."
*"I am the best. Always was."*
What a gangster response. Only a true badass can display such blatant arrogance and make it look good. This is why Jango will always be the best Bounty Hunter in all of Star Wars for me. No one carries such a cold and ruthless yet suave presence like this man does.
It's shame he got decapitated by Windu making him look bad
@@MadChristoph Eh, being killed by one of the most powerful Jedi on the council is far from the most humiliating way for a Mandalorian to go out in my opinion.
@@MadChristoph It balances out nicely with everything he accomplished.

I agree. Boba is a beast in his own way- but a more suave badass? There is none, not above Jango.
Thank You Jon Favreau, you made this story canon again.
How so?
@@yassomesho4554 I think what he's going for is making Jango actually a mandolorian. Is was unclear before a certain episode in the show if jango (and boba) was mandalorian.
@@Davilaeric1 Yeah but it was already stated in the Mandalorian that Jango was a foundling.
@@yassomesho4554 the comment was posted a year ago so I'm pretty sure season 2 had just been released by then.
@@yassomesho4554 Jango being a foundling means he has rights to the mandalorian culture. Meaning, at least in essence, that he was mandalorian.
He was a foundling to Jaster, as it is saying in Boba's code. Which basically confirms what happened in the legends HQ about Jango origins is somewhat true. He just didn't fully became mando because his group was killed. There are some differences, but many references.
Montross, Savage Opress, and Burg. Clancy Brown has been a lot of Star Wars characters, hasn’t he?
I heard Lex Luthor immediately
and Ryder Azadi from Rebels
I think that Mando and that Deveronian are Sith Lords
Oh and Mr Krabbs too
Hank from DBH
Same with Sam Witwer, they are both amazing voice actors.
The way Jango left Montross just barely alive enough so he'd stay awake while he's disemboweled by the Bando Gora was cold. Not to mention denying him a warrior's death.
I mean compared to Jango he's almost pure evil and he definitely deserved it, but in the cutscene that plays if Montross kills you; at least he had the common decency to make sure that Jango was actually dead, before moving on to find Vosa.
Also Jango saying "Don't be a sore loser" doesn't carry as much weight if you're unaware that Montross had recently killed Jango's toydarian friend Roz and said the same thing. Sounds kind of dorky on it's own but it was a terrific comeback when put into context.
He left him to die just like Montross left Jaster Mereel.
@@15vertigo exactly
You have to remember montross disgrace himself by letting jaster killed who was jango's mentor and father figure.
You have to remember Montross was no longer considered a mandolorian after he was banished.
And montross betrayed jangos buir and got him killed
Man Clancy Brown's voice is so recognizable and he always does such an amazing job.
Din leaves that guy to get eaten by whatever was in the dark, here Jango leaves this guy to get eaten as well... weird coincidence.
Jango did something very similar when he killed the Visla in charge of Death Watch before Clone Wars. Pretty good chance that was a callback to Jango, since basically everyone on the Mando team is a HUGE SW fan
@@jacobp249 that was Tor Vizla, the man who killed Jango's mentor, Jaster. Montross, the guy in this clip, betrayed Jaster. Both suffered the same fate
The Bando Gora.. scary fuckers
This game was so damn good... 100% canon for me
what's the name of this game?
You confuse me sir? Isn’t it canon.
"Imagine it, the power to send thousands of mindless assassins WILLINGLY to their deaths. To plunge the galaxy into Anarchy"
To think that Montross wasnt wrong of what came after this game. Instead of mindless assassins, they had Clones who had no independent thought. Anarchy wasnt very different than the Empire.
The clones very much so had independent thought
True but the Clones still had minds, whereas the Bando Gora were like Jawas on crack.
Anarchy is very different than the Empire. The Empire basically was all about communism. Anarchy is the contrary of that, because when there is anarchy there are no rules and communism is basically total control which the Empire was craving about.
@@MyTasteOfMusic1 well, more like fascism, I mean the empire didn't even pretend to distribute any resources to the people, they had to still work for their own credits while everything the empire had went to bloated wastes of funds like the death star.
Although the separatists seem more like communism, or at least oligarchy.
Yes and no anarchy is Chaos leading to the destruction of government
Palpatine used chaos to create his own order, which was some ways worse
"I am the best, always was"
Thats gotta be the most badass line in Starwars
Jango Fett... a true mandalorian
2:01 he went from Savage to Mr. Krabs in a matter of minutes
“I’ll see you in Hell.”
There’s a concept of Hell in this universe?
It would seem so.
It’s a huge galaxy with hundreds of religions and races. I’m pretty sure they’d have hell or a place like it in their beliefs
Yeah, it starts on sub-level 3000 of Coruscant.
Guessing so, I mean Anakin mentions Angels in episode 1
Yes, don’t you know about the infamous: S P A C E H E L L
Wow, the facial animations for this game were really ahead of their time
Jango is a badass
I like the fact that Jango left montross to die, just like montross left Jaster mereel to die.
"we're the same, you and I."
"Well now you're just being mean."
“Always was, always have been”
You’re goddamn right
I still remember playing this as a kid and I absolutely freaked out when Montross put his Mando helmet on, that felt like a proper fight to the death.
I mean I never paid attention to his other dialogue about when they were both with the Mandalorians, so I just thought he was just some random jerkoff bounty hunter, then he puts on that helmet and, well, that helmet means a lot, says everything about him, and it was like looking in a mirror.
Also this was seriously the hardest part of the game, like, the final boss fight with Komari Vosa doesn't even compare, in terms of how difficult this was. I mean it's gruesome watching an elderly man die at the hands of Meth Jawas, but he was kind of frustrating to fight and it was almost a relief to know that this time; he wasn't going to come back.

@@MercilessBug It was stated by Dave Filoni that George wanted it stated in The Clone Wars that Jango wasn't a Mandalorian. Though Almac, the man who said it in the series, was a corrupt leader and politician, so what does he know.
@@nofacedgoldfish6216 Yeah, fortunately, Filoni didn't play along. Even better, Jango being a foundling and being mentored by Jaster is now back into canon. Also, who could've trusted Almec's word in the first place? Dude just acts on his own behalf

Literally every religion has their own concept of the underworld. That's how it works. The good and the bad. Light and dark.
I mean yea you guys are right there's always a version of hell in every lore im just more astonished of the fact its used so casually when all we've been told in this universe is that the force is tethered and literally the main source of control in this universe So when the idea of heaven and hell are put in the mixed it makes me curious on the other religions in star wars
Hell for characters in Star Wars involves being cast in a bad movie that makes no sense then unceremoniously killed off after being degraded repeatedly. Its pretty rough
Games like this are reasons why legends will always be superior to canon
Meh.
Facts
I disagree, though I don't mean to discount the quality of stuff like this. There was also a lot of the bad stuff in Legends, but it and Canon both have their merits imo.
@@patrickramseyart, yeah. Everybody hated that Palpatine cheated death through cloning himself in Rise of Skywalker, yet that same exact same thing happened more than 20 years ago in the Dark Empire comic series, which is Legends content.
@@samuelgarza2466 Yeah I’m part of the minority that likes both legends and canon. Both have great stories while having some shitty ones. Stuff from canon I like include TCW, Rogue One, parts of Rebels, Jedi Fallen Order, and the Mandalorian. As for Legends it’s mostly Kotor 1 and 2, Battlefront 2 (2005), Republic Commando, and Bounty Hunter.
Are you feeling it now Mr. Montross?
Lmao nice reference
“You’ve come to the right place for a burial.... *sniff* ....hmm...I got something in my nose...”
Imagine if he defeated Jango, the clones would look more intimidated.
Montross would've died. Jango lived because he had backup and escaped
Don't let this distract you from the fact that Mr. Krabs sold SpongeBob's soul for 62 cents

Jango Fett needs his own series. Or they should at least adapt this game into a movie

This was the scene setting up a boss fight between Jango & Montross from the video game "Star Wars Bounty Hunter." It had an awesome prequel story for Jango. It setup how became the clone template for the Republic. Count Dooku setup the clone template posing as Sifo Dyas in order to setup the sham war beteen the Republic & Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS)
This is all Legends continuity now, but it could be reimagined as a standalone show or movie.

This game is why I think the way Jango went out in Clone Wars was not deserving of him.
Older star wars games are just so much fun SO MUCH FUN. SO SATISFYING
1:14 am I the only who thinks Montross's Mandalorian helmet resembles Jodo Kast's
It looked more like a lighter green variation of Boba Fett’s helmet to me.
I really want a mandalorian game, like an open world mando-bounty game. After creating a character and getting your first cheap ship or something like that, you could do bounties to get beskar to upgrade your armour. So much potential.
Such a great game, had a blast as a kid.
“Save a place for me”
I wonder what clone do Jango reminds you of the most? Bacara, Faie, or Neyo?
Ps I know there's Alpha-17 but I wonder which clone commander would be an exact Jango in every single way possible.
There was a bunch of arc troopers that went off and became bounty hunters. Probably them. One called Spar became mandalor

You know, I feel like there isn't enough of jango fett. I mean he's the one who start it all with the clone army and boba fett.
Imagine Jango... We could win the people of Metropolis and defeat Superman once and for all!
Thats the most horrifying thing ive seen in star wars, asking your enemy to finish you to end your misery but instead leaves you to die slowly.
Jango Fett and Boba Fett will always be true mandalorians, some random retcon in Clone Wars given by some jealous “mandalorian” politician to Obi Wan isn’t gonna change that. I theorize the Mandalorians in Clone Wars were fake, and the real Mandalorians were wiped out before the prequels with Jango as one of the last survivors. Real Mandalorians don’t do politics or have Duchesses.
Mandalorians changing their ways over time isn’t really that far-fetched, since that’s pretty much what happened to many warrior tribes in real life. Both Clone Wars and Rebels made it pretty clear that the warrior roots were still a big thing for for them. The Death Watch went as far as to wage civil war over it, and they were secretly lead by two respected Mandalorian leaders: Pre Vizsla (the governor of Concordia) and Bo-Katan (the duchess’ sister). Why would they turn against their friends and family, if none of them were "real" Mandalorians? Don't get me wrong, it's a interesting theory, it just doesn't seem to hold much water.
You’re mostly right about Jango though. They recently recanonized him as a Mandalorian. However, I’d say that it’s more likely that the government lied about Jango in order to deny all accountability over his actions (which were a major factor in starting the Clone Wars), rather than over a simple jealousy.
"Now you're just being mean."
"You gave up our ways, remember."
"I am the best always was."
