I went from the XS to the 11...Used it for a day...Almost cried...it felt so cheap and the bezels annoyed me so much and the contrasts were so bad...Hated the size aswell...Returned it the next day and went back to my XS...Love the premium look and feel of it

Premium in display that’s what you mean. Plus the iPhone 11 doesn’t have a bad display, it is very sharp. The new chip in iPhone 11 will make the functionality feel much more premium. It is much more smoother and faster. It is more expensive for a reason.

The XS was apple’s flagship, the 11 is a lower budget option compared to apple’s current flagship, the 11 pro, and a year newer. Me personally I’d never go back to LCD after getting my XS, but I’m also not overly concerned with battery life

@Cashx DGAF I agree but it's only a year old. The xs has hdr, higher resolution, and thinner bezels. Your getting stainless steel vs aluminum. And apparently the telephoto lens is a pro feature, although the xs doesn't have an ultra wide. I'd still go for the xs.

Steve Scholler the battery isn’t bad. It does depend on usage though. Typically, i do have to charge my phone at least once but that’s usually doesn’t happen until nighttime. It gets me through the day

iPhone 11 128 gig. I traded in my iPhone 8 256 gig which was overkill in storage for me. 128 is my sweet spot. And there is nothing wrong with the screen and the 11 still feels premium!🙄

Well I only see a difference in the screen when I watch movies on my phone. I watch Netflix on my phone and realize my iPhone 8 display is clearer than my iPhone 11. I feel like Apple should at least made the screen 1080p

I actually thought a long time before getting the iPhone 11. Yes a better display on the XS, but the iPhone 11 has an ultra wide, a better main camera, better battery, better processor. And they cost almost the same. Not to mention the new night mode. So uh, I went with the iPhone 11

Well my brother killed his iPhone 6 by playing while it's on the charger all the time so when he go on any app his phone gets hot quick and drain faster and charge slow that's why my mom said he can't get another iPhone because he killed it

I went with the iPhone XS. Coming from an iPhone 6s, this phone works closer to the way the 6s did, with flagship specs. Plus, I’m older, and appreciate the premium feel of the phone. The OLED screen is awesome: my poor eyes can read on it without needing my glasses. I’m loving my new iPhone! 😃

Very nice review. My aging iPhone 5s is, after 4 years of trusty service, running on it's last legs now. So I'm looking for a replacement. After watching your video I'm starting to lean towards the XS. I'm not into photography so not having the best camera is not an issue for me. However having a high quality screen is. Storage wise 64 gb is more then plenty for me. My 5s has only 16 gb and it's not full.
I thought a lot before choosing one. I bought the xs and im happy with it. This screen is everything. When you use your phone, you basically use your screen (which is a LOT better than 11s) so that’s the main reason.

honestly, I dont really like the design of the cameras on the 11 and I prefer the xs colours rather than the wide range of 11 colours. even though the 11 has better stuff, I prefer the xs max.

Watching on a xs and noticing a huge difference between the screens. Xs screen is far better in term of color correction and contrast
so from my experience, i always thought for me the display was the most important, and i went back and forth from samsung S line to iphones because i like apple's ios but i thought samsung displays are the best, and recently i just sat myself down and i came to the conclusion that on a device this small you can't or barely see a noticeable difference on the displays, and what matters most is function and speed. I curently own a note 10 plus and tomorrow i'm gonna trade my phone for an iphone 11 because i don't really use the s pen or in fact any other android feature and i just can't compare ios to android in terms of simplicity and smoothness. I was torn between iphone xs max and iphone 11 but i'll go for the 11 for the battery life and cameras since i'm mainly using my phone for social media and photos

Its 2020 and 11 does not have a 1080p display
XS and 11 have same amount of RAM and same class of processor (Hexacore with 4 core GPU). They will receive the same length of iOS support since those specs are the limiting factor. It is worth noting though the iPhone XS has a higher resolution (and more dpi) display, so if the screen resolution ever becomes a restricting factor iPhone 11 may lose support first due to that limitation.

Ive found a XS early 2020 for about 450$, i think its the best option when the iphone 11 is still at 700$. Plus i love a compact phone and stainless steel and oled display feels more premium and expensive. I think i found the best deal

I bought the IP 11 two months ago, it’s an incredible phone, but big and heavy, quite hard to handle it. Finally I went back to XS, happy to met again my oled screen.

XS is perfect. Much better screen, pretty much equivalent performance, better build quality, and the same price. The only real reason to get the 11 is for the camera and maybe the battery.
The processer
I’m going to upgrade from the iPhone 8 to XS. I haaate the cameras on both the 11 and 11 pro, I upgrade every 2-2 1/2 years so I’m not that worried about updates, the XS has a better screen, and I have small hands and have small pockets (struggles of being a girl), so the size of the XS suits me better

here in Germany the iPhone XS costs as same as iPhone 11. Personally I would definitely go for XS, because of the OLED. I still use my iPhone 6s, except the battery everything is still great and no lag so far, so I would say it doesn’t matter if XS is older than 11.

I bought my 11 Pro about an week ago, and the only reason I don't go for basic 11 was because of the bezels...
So, if I was to choose between 11 and the XS I would go for the XS. The oled screen wins it.
But if the cameras are the thing you like the most in a phone I would recommend going to for the 11.

Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a Android fan, but if I were to choose I'd get the Iphone Xs over the 11. Not only is the screen tech AMOLED which allows for more accurate and punchy coolrs, Its also at a way higher resolution then the LCD Panel on the 11. Another thing is the Camera, In my opinion I think the Xs has the best camera out of any Iphone. Its contrast snd colors seem to be controlled better than the 11 and the selfie camera doesn't look like a "potato" when comparing the two.
The Xs also has better colors and (like Nick told us) a more premium frame made of Stainless steel. The Space grey color mixed with the shiny black Stainless steel looks amazing. They both support fast and wireless charging.
I'm sorry this is long winded and a wall of text, but the Xs is one of the few iphones after the 6/6s Series was released that I actually liked looking at (despite the name being eh) and that seems reasonable even in 2020.
Pixel Exactly my thoughts. I am (or i was?) an android fan, xs is my first iphone ever. You pretty much summed up everything, xs is just a perfect phone.

The XS starting price was 999$ while the 11 was at 699$. The iPhone XS was afterall made of steel (compared to 11 being made of aluminium) so obviously it will be more expensive at starting prices, and at the same price and not cheaper when the 11 came out.
I don’t know about you guys and your display preference. But for me, ultra wide angle Camera shots are totally awesome especially when you’re with a group of people. Also, night mode on 11 is very useful especially during night outs with the gang!
If you want to upgrade from and old model like Iphone SE or 6 than just go for the 11

The 11 Pro is out of my price range so I'm considering these two for my next phone. For me I'm leaning more towards the XS mainly due to the better OLED display. I do prefer the wide angle camera on the 1, personally I dont use the camera every day where as obviously you're using the screen all the time so that's that's a bigger deal. I'm sure the 11 is slightly faster when you really test it but to most it won't be that noticeable in the real world.

You could also get the iPhone 11 Pro and you'll get the best of both worlds, you'll get both cameras, you'll get a better display, better battery life/time and a better chip. You also have the opportunity to choose the new midnight green color. Although it is about $300 more, it could potentially be worth it if you are looking to upgrade from an older phone and planning to stick with it for 2-3 years.

The iPhone XS has three advantages over the iPhone 11: a better display, smaller bezels, and a telephoto camera lens. These aren't insignificant benefits, but they're not worth shelling out hundreds of dollars for, especially since the iPhone 11 has better battery life and a much better camera.
I will prefer wide angle camera over telephoto anytime so for me iphone 11.

Right now a refurbished XS Max is cheaper than a refurbished iPhone 11 so I’d choose the XS Max over the 11.
Hi, could remove the screen protector next time when filming such a video? It reflects more and doesnt show the besels as well and they dont really have much to do with the phone either.

I find the XS to be the clear winner.
I personally use a XS Max and it is still the fastest phone I've ever used all while being cheaper than the 11 and having a much better display with thinner bezels.
its not as if the bezels are like the older models 🤦🏾♂

I have an iPhone 8 plus and my son has my older iPhone 6S. Trying to decide on possible phone updates. Not sure which one to pick. New iPhone SE 2020 or iPhoneXS or iPhone 11. I know the iPhone11 is the newest but I am finding heavy discounts on the iPhone XS. Thoughts? Advice?

I've been watching some reviews, I can't decide properly now! I don't want to let go of my iPhone 7 plus instead, I want to purchase a new one. XS somehow looks badass to me, is it worth to buy in this year 2020?
as a perosn who has owned an XS for a very long time, I loved it at first but I have had many complications with it not being my fault. Apple had to give me a new one for the difficulties. I love it but Im ordering the 11

I bought the xs space gray,64gb i like the thin bezel and it runs very well through the day lovin it gonna keep it for a while.
I got the gold one it’s a smooth phone. Finally Upgraded from the iPhone 6 Plus 😂
The xs is a much more beautiful phone.I.would choose it over 11 everytime !
