I didn't realise how poor his start was in that race until I put this video together. At least five others were well ahead of him in the first 10 metres.
Sub 10-Zin i dont think so, not unless he runs it at eugene. 9.82 to 9.68 and under is a huge difference, and colemans start is already very good, much harder to improve top end speed than to improve the start. Sprinters as exceptional as tyson gay dont come around very often, gay was kinda unlucky that he shared his career with the rise of many other huge talents
Richard Bao haha. You make me laugh. Tyson Gay never ran near 9.8’s in his collegiate days. Christian Coleman still has many things to prove. Look at his god awful form from that Eugene race. Tyson Gay is a very technical sprinter with near flawless form. Coleman hasn’t reached his peak yet (young)
Sub 10-Zin the fact still remains that in general, sprinters who rely mostly on their fast start have a harder time improving. Also, Eugene is still a very fast track, and there are many athletes who set fast times at a young age only to not improve on it (think trentavis friday, 10.00 in high school, where's his 9.8 time?). Coleman may break 9.69, who knows? All im saying is that i dont think he will
Somos todos bolsonaro 2018! Brasil true, but due to the fact he ran it after Dix and Crawford the IAAF rank him lower (still joint but his name is below theirs)
nice! thanks for the video...next ideas top 400m from Bahamas or Trinidad and Tobago (but isn t know :D) and top5 fasters canadians or nice idea top "white" sprinters (Lemaiter, Reus, ... and Ján Volko from slovakia..) :)
+Athletic Productionz I can list some Canadians to make it easier. Donovan Bailey 9.84, Bruny Surin 9.84, Ben Johnson wen't 9.79, Andre de Grasse 9.91 already wen't 9.69 not offcial because of wind. Aaron Brown wen't 9seconds forgot the milliseconds.
I think had Bromell not picked up multiple long-term injuries he could potentially be the best sprinter the U.S. has to offer outside of Gay. So I believe Bromell has more natural talent but whether he will reach his potential is yet to be seen.
Yes, due to the fact he ran it after Crawford and Dix he is joint with them but his name will always be after theirs on official lists such as the iaaf meaning he falls just short of a 10 man list.
America's sprint corps may be in trouble in Tokyo 2020. Of those 10 athletes, only four are active. And of those four, two will be in their mid to late 30s, and well past peak performance age. While an infusion of fresh talent is definitely warranted, perhaps the 110m hurdles World champion, Grant Holloway, or Noah Lyles, men's 200m World Champion could supplement an aged, somewhat shorthanded group.
I love this channel! I especially like ranking. I'm Japanese, so I'm sorry if I am wrong. And, if you can, please make ranking of Japanese people! Please.
Jay 01KC he did, but both Dix and Crawford ran theirs before him and so on official lists Bailey will always be placed below them despite being tied for 10th. So unfortunately he missed out on this ten man list.
Johnson on his best day in the 100m has never broken the 10 second barrier. His claim to fame is the open 400m and the relays he was part of, especially that incredible 42.9 relay leg.
Loool America is s big country imagine if all country is big as America China or Russia lool some of the athletes here will suck sorry but its my opinion
Hope to see Bromell and Coleman move up this list in the years to come.
i also!! Bromell, Coleman and De grasse
+keňÁnek Andre de grasse is Canadian.
Athletic Productionz bromell is in the list
And Colemen
Coleman yes. Bromell is done.
Tyson Gay’s comeback in that race was the best I’ve ever seen
Now you should add Noah lyles
His comebacks are the best of the best
Then you haven't seen Usain 2015 semis and Usain Bolt 2016 vs Asafa and Blake.
@@alexreid2365 yeees
some new additions:
Noah Lyles - 9.86
Micah Williams - 9.86
Michael Norman - 9.86
Marvin Bracy - 9.85
Ronnie Baker - 9.83
Fred Kerley - 9.76

If Tyson Gay got a really good start from that Shanghai race, I reckon it would be 9.64 seconds
I didn't realise how poor his start was in that race until I put this video together. At least five others were well ahead of him in the first 10 metres.
Athletic Productionz yeah. I have a feeling that coleman will break that 9.69 in the near future.
Sub 10-Zin i dont think so, not unless he runs it at eugene. 9.82 to 9.68 and under is a huge difference, and colemans start is already very good, much harder to improve top end speed than to improve the start. Imagine what Tyson Gay his pb would have been with a good start...
Nope he got this top speed because of a bad start and Powell was ahead of him therefore a sudden rush of adrenaline
@Track Nation common sense
@Track Nation well cyz he got a pb with a start like that I think that an adrenaline rush must have been the case
I guess my homework will wait for later
3 years and no one replied
@@iagree8643 wtf dude hahahaha
Ryan bailey 9"88 london 2012
Somos todos bolsonaro 2018! Brasil true, but due to the fact he ran it after Dix and Crawford the IAAF rank him lower (still joint but his name is below theirs)
Athletic Productionz ok
Somos todos bolsonaro 2018! Brasil , bailey has run 9.88 twice. He should be above them
What about Travis Padget
I see all your videos of sprint montages.

nice! thanks for the video...next ideas top 400m from Bahamas or Trinidad and Tobago (but isn t know :D) and top5 fasters canadians or nice idea top "white" sprinters (Lemaiter, Reus, ... and Ján Volko from slovakia..) :)

Can you make a top 10 for Canadians?
Nethan V will do!
For you is faster Coleman or bromell
I think had Bromell not picked up multiple long-term injuries he could potentially be the best sprinter the U.S. has to offer outside of Gay. So I believe Bromell has more natural talent but whether he will reach his potential is yet to be seen.
Bromell
Athletic Productionz agreed

Can you please make a video on 200m montage
Love the intro
Didn't Ryan Bailey run 9.88 as well?
Evan Nezat yes, in london 2012
Yes, due to the fact he ran it after Crawford and Dix he is joint with them but his name will always be after theirs on official lists such as the iaaf meaning he falls just short of a 10 man list.
Muito bom a lista tá muito bem atualizada

I love this channel! I especially like ranking. I'm Japanese, so I'm sorry if I am wrong. And, if you can, please make ranking of Japanese people! Please.
RIN RIN thank you! I will look into doing a top 10 Japanese athletes
Athletic Productionz Excuse me. It might be wrong because it is weak in English, but does it make top 10 of Japan? Looking forward to it!
RIN RIN yes, soon!
Athletic Productionz Maggie! Thank you! I'm very happy.
For the tied of 9.88s, W. Dix should've been placed at 9th for a 200m PR of 19.40s in 2011
🇺🇸🇺🇸😄🇺🇸🇺🇸
Ryan bailey run 9.88 three times one in 2010 twice in 2012
Jay 01KC he did, but both Dix and Crawford ran theirs before him and so on official lists Bailey will always be placed below them despite being tied for 10th. So unfortunately he missed out on this ten man list.
Travon bromell was 2016 not 2015
he ran 9.84 in 2015 too

What about jesse owens
When I was 13 I could only run 12.8 but now I’m 14 I did weight lifting all summer I think I’ll be faster track isn’t for a couple more months
What!?! Mike Rogers actually won a race?!?
Nice victor
Where is Ryan bailey
New update
Coleman goes to 3ed place with 9.76
Ronnie Baker is #3 with a 9.78
that time is not legal.. too much wind.. his pb is 9.87
I know Michael Johnson doesn't do the 100 . But he deserves to be there
Johnson on his best day in the 100m has never broken the 10 second barrier. His claim to fame is the open 400m and the relays he was part of, especially that incredible 42.9 relay leg.
Johnson couldn't even go sub 10.
Tayson gay 9.69,9.71 2009.
