Nothing controversial about it Ben, achieving the best results from your own method and understanding as it clearly shows, love the content, find it fascinating, would love to come and see it one day. 👌🏻
I hundred percent agree with your way of thinking and going it for myself l have made my own bait using super market ingredients for the last 20 plus years and were ever l fished all over Europe and in the UK never been disappointed keep the good work up
It seems to me Ben that your approach produces good results whilst maintaining fish welfare as a product of it being a natural feed in a natural environment.
They go into one of the offline waters on the farm where they become prey for natural predators 😬Looking forward to seeing the priory fish mature, how have they done at yours?
Really insightful video, thankyou! I'm interested to hear about 'scrapping' a years fish. What does that actually mean in practice, are they sold at the size they are, given away, or literally 'scrapped'?
The optimum water temperature for the most efficient enzyme action along the intestine of cold blooded fish like carp is 26-27 degrees celsius. Which is obviously much warmer than what we maintain in our UK climate. In fact, when water temperatures get that high, we're usually in a drought and water turnover is poor, so water quality becomes a priority.
@@BPMilling Thank you. I wanted to know, on the contrary, how decent and effective the carp there are in feeding at low winter water temperatures. Some KOI breeders in Japan have improved their breeds to be able to digest and absorb food even at water temperatures of around 8 degrees Celsius. ruclips.net/video/DeiACde9hM0/видео.html
What’s an EDM? Assuming it’s some background sounds/music? Sorry that you don’t like that element 👀 i find video pretty flat without some kind of backing track, providing it’s not overpowering? I make a conscious effort to keep it quiet so the dialogue is clear. Always keen to improve though, so i welcome your thoughts 🙏🏻
You're right, anglers probably couldn't care less about what I feed my fish, but there's industry professionals that misunderstand the product and combine that with a bit of bitterness and a sprinkle of jealousy which create that 'Controversial' element around my business! Videos like this hopefully help back up what I preach?
@BPMilling I wouldn't have a clue, first time I've seen anything of yours pop up on RUclips. I suppose it'll come down to that age old saying 'time will tell'
Good man, the way I see it with anything as long as u back yourself and get pride in your results then stuff what others think/say
Well said! Totally agree!

Thank you Robert! Some people just misunderstand it, which i'm grateful for because it gives me plenty of content ideas to prove that i'm right. 😜 Ben
I grew up on a trout farm and yes you are right about the feed and water quality connection. Great video and very informative
Thank you! It's always reassuring to hear that my videos are well received and helpful! These comments make the editing worthwhile! 😁

Thank you for your kind words as always! I’ve got an offline pond on the farm where i’ve put them. They predators love this pond obviously 👀
@BPMilling haha OK, fair enough so! In future could you donate them to a club or River stretch could make good promo?
@@DDGXMUSICCarp aren't Allowed to be Stocked Into the Rivers Now! EA class them as invasive foreign species! Just otter food now in the rivers!
To what temperature can they feed and digest their food?

I can guarantee you that 99.5% of anglers won't care less what you feed your hungry carp
