Enjoy this somewhat rushed interview! We were teaching at Django in June and did it in between classes! I wish I could have spent more time asking him questions, but maybe another time! Please like and subscribe! Check out the links in the description box for more goodies!
The last question about environment and culture was particularly interesting for me and I wish we had time to go more in-depth but alas, time was up!

I love it that you made this in a dorm room.

Great feature. He’s very intellectual and I could listen to him for hours.

Tcha understands music like no one I’ve met before. I can listen to him and talk about it all day.

Excellent interview. Tcha truly sounds like a philosopher of music. Thanks for posting.

I had the pleasure of walking Tcha to dinner one night but I wish I had the smarts to engage him on this level.

I remember meeting you both briefly as it was ..@ the gypsy jazz festival in Wales Menai UK @ a workshop and will never forget when Tcha corrected me on my half diminished from the other side of the room.
Great musicians @ Denis @ Tcha

There’s so much to unpack in this video. Wow! “You have to keep it simple, and therefore only play what is really essential” love it. Thanks Denis 😎
