Ox missed that Tom Neeman brought a different woman to the motel. Even if all the staff were robots, one human is typically still there. Other locations that went fully autonomous had a single human that was there for maintenance. They’re not allowed to anything else. There was Grafton Dam, Red Rocket Mega Stop, and another place I can’t remember with a note or terminal entry where the worker says they were kept on to do maintenance but not allowed to work. The note in the bathroom is a reference to the Fallout 76 is just a simulation theory. Bethesda is saying that it’s not. It’s real. And it’s canon. The ranger on the roof was in the bunker at the visitor center. The man there tells you that all the other rangers just left one day.
Whatever developer stuck Biv there probably didn't know the context of him, and just saw a robobrain with a tuxedo. They probably thought "oh, this one's in a tux. That would fit in better as hotel staff than just a random robobrain." This whole DLC is full of stuff like this, where is feels like somebody had a genuinely good idea, but we're either stuck making do or just cheaped out with using the existing models and resources.
This was the first piece of content outsourced outside Bethesda, It's clear some of the staff involved knew what they were doing. I wish one of those staff was doing passes over the other staff's work to check for things like this.
I genuinely feel like Bethesda doesn't make games, I feel like they just asset dump, Hence the whole reused content. Someone else made it and they just put it in there thinking nobody would spot it being reused content or just not care it was reused. It also explains why "their" games are always buggy messes and as to why they don't know how to fix them. and the other content they sell is poorly made and made by someone else. And I think this is their way of telling us they don't make games.
Am I the only one who thinks there is more with that working TV? Isn’t it the ONLY one working in the entire game and it clearly shows a road or a valley or something behind the static…
Yeah it felt like there was more to the motel but wasn’t finished. I haven’t finished the entire valley storyline but I read on Reddit from others who finished that the entire expansion feels unfinished which makes sense since it wasn’t made by Bethesda which is also why there’s some lore inconsistencies.

@eriksand9262 if we go based off how we use ours and the model for pre war money in game it looks like a standard bundle of bills which one of those containing 100 dollar bills values at 10,000$ with this in mind that would make that bag worth 160,000$ not 1,600$ that is only a theory since the bills look like they display 20$ which would make it 500$ a bundle for a total of 8,000 still not enough to be a "stash"

One of the things that bothers me about Bethesda is how they don't consider what SHOULD be in a hidden bag. They just act like any other random container instead of having that would make sense for the item/story behind it. It's why I stopped bothering to find hidden items mentioned in notes. It's always just small random junk and not worth my time. Best case is you may get like 20 caps and a useless weapon.
Great content as usual Isn't Lewis (one of the names on that note in that bathroom) the guy who programed Biv and created Nukashine? So many mysteries that tie together.
I would have waited to do this episode the place clearly has a quest planned for it that'll get added with a future update and you'll have to do another video around the location.
Last time we saw a set list like this it was for Jesse White, The Dancing Bandit, which was an obvious reference to Jesco White, The Dancin' Outlaw, this Nash Hope is probably a reference as well, though to who I don't know.
Are we assuming that robots who in other areas mourn wilting flowers or (in the beginning of Fallout 4) express relief and joy in seeing their owner return and voice concern about missing family members wouldnt use common phrases connected to murder in internal business memos? Even chatgpt would use similar wording if prompted to write an official company statement for archival documentation or public relations circulation. Im not saying the devs didnt mess up, but a robot using emotional phrasing is not uncommon in this universe. Especially if it might be a robobrain, which we know have transplanted brains with potentially some personality retained. I personally think they messed up the dating of the take over, as it would make more sense if it was the cause behind the transporting of robo-parts. I hope they take the time to go back and do those minor changes so it makes more sense in the future.

Pfft every time. That skeleton 🩻 in the intro. He’s on a toilet. Did everyone have a crazy bowel movement in 2077? In every game there’s always a bunch of skeletons in the bathroom 🚽 stalls. Lol 😂
Best I can tell from his comments....Kids out of school, babysitter issues, live streams are great but lore vids pay the bills. Livestreams take away from that. Hope that helps!
That's what I was gonna say, they have personalities and would talk like humans, and I don't know if they could do stuff humans would but there is a possibility
sadly it seems many details in this new area are placeholders they forgot there or intentionally used things those shouldnt be around I guess, such as technical data in world arent anywhere else, that blueprint that dont work and all unique framed pictures and those army papers, now Biv (or Bif, I dont remember how it is written), but I give huge positive point, since that toilet paper at that toilet with graffiti and note is first toilet paper since Fo4 and in whole Fo76 that is turned correctly
Why would someone keep the holotape that ordered a supply drop after using it? It is a one time use, isnt it? Not something you would carefully put back in your backpack and bring with you. Using the BIV design is just lazy. They could have made it stand out without it being BIV by slightly changing it. A bot with a suit paint design could happen independantly twice in the same universe. Just make it a generic black tie attire.
16 prewar money... i understand that is 16 of the item, but each thing is a stap of bills. assuming its used as we would a bill at a time out of the stack a single stack/brick is anywhere from $4000 to $400,000. lets assume its the total of the poker game and lets go 6 players that is 450,000, divide that by 16 as that is how many staks are there and you get $28,125 per stack. lets make it easy if you want to add intrest if its the ransom lets say $40,000. that means the bills in the stack are $10 bills. I know i'm bullshitting here but given the crazy inflation of fallout and this was likely a medium stakes game. A loan shark's fish with a gambling debt would be scared to not have enough to pay their debts with intrest. in full and beyond
After his first video showing a huge amount of poorly used assets from the Commonwealth, I'm not interested in that London mod at all. Looks too poorly made, given how long they spent on it.
@@jamesaustralian9829 I have seen other videos from people showing those assets are glitched in his video, in theirs they show custom skins showing what they are. Though quite a few are saying installing it can be a pain.

Hey, Ox - why are you still using public servers when you can just get a private one with a membership? Seems like that would be the best way to explore places of interest without worry of getting to a location after another player or having another player interrupting your recording.
@@BlaqjaySama He's stated on numerous occasions that he doesn't like that model. Especially when private servers were initially meant to be free. So yes, he can afford it and players have offered to pay for it for him. But he doesn't agree with it, so he's not going to do it. Just like grinding events, Daily Operations, and Expeditions. Most of us agree with his decision even if it makes getting footage harder.
Well Bethesda didn’t do this update Double Eleven did Bethesda was working on Atlantic City when Double Eleven was doing skyline valley so ofc they wouldn’t know meaning behind some of lore thing
Would be great if they checked the lore entries before releasing the updste to avoid confusion over years and dates - typical Bethesda issue but it makes compelling lore and stories less engaging as a result
Is fallout 76 good yet ? This is my first video I’m watching on it in years. I don’t think I can replay 3 , 4 and new Vegas any more times for atleast 5 years so I can try and forget some of it.
To play devil's advocate for Howie, considering that all pre-war cash comes in stacks, it's entirely possible that it's referring to the stacks. And if the stacks are done in bills worth 100 each, that'd be 16 grand in that bag.
I always took one unit of "Pre-War Money" as we see it to actually be a lot of cash. Because when we look at the item in the games it's not a single dollar bill. It's a stack of like 100 bills. Presuming denomination on them "16 Pre-War Money" could be 1,600 dollars minimum (1 dollar bills) or in a more high stakes 100 (or considering their inflation possibly 1,000 or 10,000 dollar bills) more like 16,000, 160,000, or 1,600,000. Just how I read it. Silly thing perhaps and open to interpretation. Granted I get the understanding of it being "only" 16. Because the games don't let us break the stacks into individual bills and all. But I can see a lore idea where it actually being more than just 16.

Best I can tell from his comments....Kids out of school, babysitter issues, live streams are great but lore vids pay the bills. Livestreams take away from that. Hope that helps!
@@rwallaceva I see. Thanks for the info! I was just curious.
@aaronjames5581 I'm actually glad. I love his streams, but his lore vids are the best.
I hope you do one on Naked Creek soon
@@SomethingSomething245 I hope so too. I convinced him to visit it during the livestream and he does love the Blue Ridge Caravan company.
@Singeferno He does??? That's awesome lol. Blue Ridge is the best 💙
Staff was Robo brains I bet
That's what I was gonna say, they have personalities and would talk like humans, and I don't know if they could do stuff humans would but there is a possibility
The more south You go from the motel the creepier and more interesting, You should explore and tell us what You think :)
The "rope " under the chair is a vacume hose not a rope.
I have a strong theory on the chin up blood graffiti , what if it was made by the same guy who wrote nothing is real on the wall
sadly it seems many details in this new area are placeholders they forgot there or intentionally used things those shouldnt be around I guess, such as technical data in world arent anywhere else, that blueprint that dont work and all unique framed pictures and those army papers, now Biv (or Bif, I dont remember how it is written), but I give huge positive point, since that toilet paper at that toilet with graffiti and note is first toilet paper since Fo4 and in whole Fo76 that is turned correctly
Just make it a generic black tie attire.
enjoy what you have instead of complaining about what you dont 😊🙌
Here's an idea...is Biv still in the Nukashine Speakeasy? It may be him.
What platform do you play fallout on?
Fallout coherent story writers have left the fallout 76 team and its so clear
love what you do good sir, and just to add a little creepiness, Manniquins are really just really really big creepy dolls
Is there going to be "Fistoh" merch... lol..
I guess Biv wasn't so S.P.E.C.I.A.L after all.
when are you gonna do a lore video on Fallout London? it's not be canon in the Fallout universe but it's just as interesting
I agree definitely would be a interesting video to watch
After his first video showing a huge amount of poorly used assets from the Commonwealth, I'm not interested in that London mod at all. Looks too poorly made, given how long they spent on it.
@@jamesaustralian9829 I have seen other videos from people showing those assets are glitched in his video, in theirs they show custom skins showing what they are. Though quite a few are saying installing it can be a pain.
FO London seems more interesting than 76. The only part of 76 I enjoyed was the brotherhood of steel storyline. Thanx 4 the vids Ox. You the man.
Is it BIV oder before?
Hehehe got the 666 like. Guess that's my sign to go ger some dino nuggies
Oxhorn: *Reads up on Sex shenanigans with a Mannequin*
"Hey lets see if we can find it out back in the dumpster!"
I mean, hey I know it gets lonely in the wasteland Ox but.....sloppy mannequin seconds? Hey, you do you. I will stick to my Santatron telling me how "naughty" I have been :)
I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t hearing anything then I realized my volume was off 😂
Is the update making everyone else's game almost unplayable?
Hey, Ox - why are you still using public servers when you can just get a private one with a membership? Seems like that would be the best way to explore places of interest without worry of getting to a location after another player or having another player interrupting your recording.
$12 is too much of an investment to improve the quality of his content for a guy with an estimated net worth of 1.77 million.
@@Singeferno I get the protest, but after trying it, I don’t wanna play without it lol. Props to him for standing on principle though.
Hey Oxhorn are you going to play more fallout london anytime soon I would appreciate more viewing pleasure if that is alright
That entire update feels unfinished. And it tells me bethesda dont care.
Well Bethesda didn’t do this update Double Eleven did Bethesda was working on Atlantic City when Double Eleven was doing skyline valley so ofc they wouldn’t know meaning behind some of lore thing
@@luckyotaku4002Bethesda also said that some stuff is for later content
people leaving comments in a broken bath vs people checking backpacks in multiverses.
Would be great if they checked the lore entries before releasing the updste to avoid confusion over years and dates - typical Bethesda issue but it makes compelling lore and stories less engaging as a result
I can confirm you can find the supply holo tape in the red backpack
I will say that this dlc for 76 has had the most lore breaks and strange decisions we have seen yet.
Don’t forget the mode for pre war money in fallout are stacks of money so technically it could be 1600 or even more 🤷♀️
Is fallout 76 good yet ? This is my first video I’m watching on it in years. I don’t think I can replay 3 , 4 and new Vegas any more times for atleast 5 years so I can try and forget some of it.
To play devil's advocate for Howie, considering that all pre-war cash comes in stacks, it's entirely possible that it's referring to the stacks. And if the stacks are done in bills worth 100 each, that'd be 16 grand in that bag.
Dlc expansion just wait
juding how that robo brain is T posing, it might be a place holder
I think a lot of the lore errors are that -- someone put in a placeholder and the project got rushed and some of the placeholders were left behind.
Tragic describes the latest update crashing on start up on my ps4.
Don't worry about the doll head in the toilet - it's 'armless hahaha
The Slumber Lumber Hotel
Ox you overthink things way too much. This is a BUGTHESDA game after all.
Baby dolls, baby dolls are worse
fallout 76 ya not real lore
Do a playthrough of Mafia II soon please!!!
