    How I view it, is that pride month is a month where people in the LGBTQ+ community can express themselves to the public and so they can just show who they really are. Pride month symbolizes acceptance for people of different sexual orientations, shows equality, and just celebration to people who express themselves this way. Hope this helped❤️🏳️‍🌈

    As a bisexual person I will explain lgbtq. Pride month is to celebrate lgbtq. If you ever heard of “gay” that means a man in love with another man. A “lesbian” is a woman In love with another woman. Bisexuality is where you date the two genders. bi means 2 like Bicycle. Straight is in love with the opposite gender. Transgender is a person that changed to the opposite gender. Pansexual means a person that is in love with any person with any gender. Asexual is a person that dosent have any sexual feelings.

    In my experience pride month is where people who have a different sexuality besides straight like me who is lesbian can express ourselves without cristisism even though we still get it. I do believe that it should be called pride year though so we can celebrate it all year every year as we should. But I understand pride month is a month where there are parades and party's and decorations of pride. Hope this helps but the comment under this probably better explains it

    pride month is for people that are in the lgbtqia+ ! during pride month people that are in the lgbtqia+ can express themselves ! the reason pride month exists is because people in the lgbtqia+ get hated on much more than people who aren't in the lgbtqia+ ! its like black history month ! both black people and people in the lgbtqia+ get hated on more than white and people who aren't in the lgbtqia+, racism and homophobia are 2 very different things, so i wouldn't compare them, that was just an example ! if you still don't understand please ask me anything !! i'm in the lgbtqia+ so i know about it

      What does lgbtqia+ stand for?

    • @uuuuuu66696
      @uuuuuu66696 2 года назад

      @@creamypop4708 the l in lgbtqia+ means lesbian, so any non-man that is attracted to other non-men, is a lesbian, the g means gay, so any non-woman attracted to other non-women is gay, b means bisexual, its when 1 person likes 2 or more genders, t means transgender, any person that doesn't identify with the gender they were assigned to at birth is transgender (ex. ftm means female to male, so a person that was assigned female at birth now identifies as a man), q means queer, queer is an umbrella term for people who are not hetero/straight or who are not cisgender (cisgender is the opposite of transgender), i means intersex, intersex people are people that are born with any of several sex characteristics including chromosome patterns, gonads, or genitals that, according to the office of the united nations high commissioner for human rights, "do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies", a means asexual or agender, asexual is when you don't feel sexual attraction to anyone, and agender means when somebody doesn't have a gender, and the + is for more sexualities and genders ! i identify as abrosexual (when your sexuality changes/switches, ex. yesterday i liked only women but now i like men and women), genderfluid (when your gender identity changes/switches, ex. i was a girl 2 days ago but now i am non binary) and asexual !! if you dont understand anything please ask me i'll try to answer as best as i can !

    Pride month is when people in or out of the LGBTQPIA+ community celebrate who they are and people say “happy pride month!” To show respect to the LGBTQPIA+ community idrk if that was good explaining but uhm yeah it’s about celebration of LGBTQPIA+ if you dunno what LGBTQPIA+ is it’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning sexuality, polysexual, intersex, and asexual , lesbian is when you only are attracted to girls/women and you are a girl, gay is when you are attracted to boys/men and you are a boy, bisexual is when you like both genders (men, women) and are any gender, transgender is when you are a man or woman and you want to change your gender (just say you were a man and you were a transgender you want to be a woman) , queer is when you don’t really know you haven’t decided who you want to love what gender and who, polysexual means you attracted 2+ people, intersex umm idrk idk how to re-word this so yeah this is what I found on google Intersex is a general term used for a variety of situations in which a person is born with reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn't fit the boxes of “female” or “male.” Sometimes doctors do surgeries on intersex babies and children to make their bodies fit binary ideas of “male” or “female”, asexual is another name for bisexual (I think), the plus sign means others like pansexual (attracted to all genders), non binary (go as they/them instead of she/her or he/him) , etc. So umm I hope this helped you understand. Bye bye!
