How I view it, is that pride month is a month where people in the LGBTQ+ community can express themselves to the public and so they can just show who they really are. As a bisexual person I will explain lgbtq. Pride month is to celebrate lgbtq. If you ever heard of “gay” that means a man in love with another man. A “lesbian” is a woman In love with another woman. Bisexuality is where you date the two genders. bi means 2 like Bicycle. Straight is in love with the opposite gender. Transgender is a person that changed to the opposite gender. Pansexual means a person that is in love with any person with any gender. Asexual is a person that dosent have any sexual feelings.
In my experience pride month is where people who have a different sexuality besides straight like me who is lesbian can express ourselves without cristisism even though we still get it. I do believe that it should be called pride year though so we can celebrate it all year every year as we should.
