- Are Zowie Wireless Mice Any Good? Zowie EC1-CW Review. This is my review of the Zowie Wireless EC Mice. Specifically the EC1 variant. I've been testing the BenQ Zowie EC1-CW for over a month now so here's my thoughts on it ▼Aim routines▼

Are the new wireless zowie mice any good? Well I've had the opportunity to test one for the last month and half and I think the mouse itself is actually quite good. The new Zowie Wireless ec1cw mice use the pixart 3370 sensor, Huano black shell , blue dot switches, and uses a special zowie enhanced wireless receiver which provides a stronger signal to the mouse but it also comes with the standard USB and dongle solution that every other wireless gaming mouse on the market also uses. So you can also have the Zowie Wireless EC1-CW connected to multiple PCs at once and easily switch between them by using the switch on the bottom of the mouse. The shape is the same as the Classic EC1 mouse expect the actual buttons are slightly narrower. (Same shape, there is simply a ledge now instead of a button shell in that spot)
The performance of the EC-CW Zowie Wireless mice are great but weather or not it's worth the high price tag is another topic. The Zowie Wireless EC mice also come in the EC2-CW and EC3-CW size variants but the one I had to test was the zowie ec1cw as I have large hands.

I think the weight is perfect. Some people don't want mice that are to light. Also anyone complaining about the price is the US is a joke. Knowing you paid the same price for the Superlight and Razer viper pro..
I got my Superlight for 80€ on sale. Now you can get it for 90€, the viper ultimate v2 (which has better specs) is 120€. So I don't see any reason to get this, apart from you need this shape. Razer, logitech, pulsar have better or the same product for a better price.
Actually, you are Gigachad for noting that there are individuals who despise anything between 45 and 68g in mouse weight, much alone anything less than 45g. There are and I am on of those people. Also, it appears that the so-called mice community is basically a bunch of cry babies who all appear to be unemployed (not even part-time throughout university) while wearing Air Maxes and various fashion brands and purchasing the latest editions of Finalmouse. However, they all came to bitch about Zowie's pricing for their wireless mice, as though they are unfamiliar with BenQ (Zowie) prices in general. They also bitch about sensor as to why Zowie's wireles line has only 3370 and not 3395 sensor ... like jeee, as if 3370 is not enough to win a major or ten LMAO ... or someone can actually surpass 3370's tracking speed of 10.16 m/s, let alone 26k dpi in 3395. Just BRAINDEADism in the nutshell.
@@timlolxP just because it has better components doesn't mean you will get magically better. Pros can still shit on you using a brick and specs from 5 years ago if you focus on buying mice based on their components and not focusing on actually improving at the game
@@rarinth okay and what has that to do with getting the best value for money from a product?
Did i say a good mouse make you a skilled player? Idk what you are trying to say here...
ridiculous price for what it is unfortunately, even if one does enjoy the shape
definitely would say its unreasonable for outdated specs even if it has that zowie shape and brand
It does have latency on par with Logitech and razer at least. Performance wise unless you want 4k polling it's just as good. But the price is still quite high for sure.
@@DatGoodSirpeople that complain about the price, don't care about the performance. Zowie is asking for a premium price on a mouse that uses tech from 2 years ago.
I don't mind the weight but the price man. Just offer the the fucking charging dock as optional accessory like razer did with 8k polling rate dongle and I'll be good with just the mice at 120ish $.
Great video as always DGS! @2:33 ouch. Lol
had to include it xD
Fire video, subbed!
Nice review! I might skip the Zowie wireless lineup as I’m based in Europe 😅 more excited about Vaxee at the moment but we’ll see
I don't blame you. It's hard to justify unless you really just love zowie mice.
Yoo! looks sick, but u should really try dav3 since its about the same price with better specs.. do a comparison of both
I'm in the EU and am very dissapointed in the price, however I love the fk shape so much I will prolly get the wireless one. Might do a weight reduction too.
I cant find the combo for the wireless to change debounce and lift off can you post it here also do you need to connect it wired when you change it
A 77 gram wireless ec2 in 2023 lol
With all respect, i love zowie mice but this weight, old sensor, insane price.. is stupid.
Better buy an xlite v2 for much less and better specs.. not even gonna talk abt razor latest dav3
xlite v3 will be releasd soon
Yes, I'm very interested in that mouse too.
EXACTLY, GREAT to see someone with their eyes open - SO RARE.
I use the Razer Deathadder V3 wired because its cheaper and equaly good.
I still use a wired mouse as my main because I like the shape so much. There's nothing wrong with wired mice. Live your best life. :D
thanks for the review, one question is the red stripe at the front an indicator for power?
That red stripe is actually the antenna for the enhanced wireless receiver. You can use the mouse without needing the USB receiver at all, so you could even have it plugged into a different PC and easily switch between the two also, which is something I forgot to mention. The battery indicator is below the scroll wheel. There are white dots that show up when you plug it in or use the dock.
@@DatGoodSir ahh missed that. i'm stupid. thanks! you can clearly see the the dots at 3:02
Good taste in mousepad 👌
Love the Cerapad Kin!
im so sad and happy same time i bought superlight 10months ago because my g pro wireless skates died and double click problem i waited zowie wireless mouse and eu fucking price is 190€ like bro mmm
i would just get modded ec with g305 internals
It's worth £69.99 AT MOST.
The wired one is like £57 💀
@@DatGoodSir Hi - I OWN the EC3-CW now, along with the Thorn, XM2we, Prime Mini Wireless, Kone Pro Air, Origin One X, Xlite v2 and a loooooooong list of others which started with the MX500 and MS1.1 and Explorer 3.0 at CS 1.0 in 2000.
Oh... My.... 100% stand by my statement and going into 2024 - this mouse is worth £59.99 TOPS.
I can't even EXPRESS the insult that the price they are charging is to me, it literally OFFENDS me as a Lamzu Thorn main user. It's an EMBARRASSMENT.
WHAT DOES THISE MOUSE OFFER for the price?
1) A great shape if you like it (I do, but, I also love the Thorn and many others lol)
2) I personally like the sensor placement.
3) You don't need software / but YOU CAN NOT HAVE ANY if you want it and I do.
4) Good build quality
5) Good coating
And now vs the Thorn (LOL)
1) It's SIGNIFICANTLY heavier
2) It's near DOUBLE THE PRICE
3) It has an older and plain worse sensor (3370 is fine for me but you can't charge that for it END OF)
4) Thorn has better tech all around inc 4K (if you like that - I don't)
5) Thorn scroll and scroll click are significanlty nicer IMO
6) Thorn side buttons are WAY nicer and easier to use.
7) The unboxing experience and care by a mile
8) The build is simply not better than the Thorn
9) The coating is no better than the Thorn
10) The 'enhanced reciever does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING bar allow you to use your mouse further away until I see that TESTED and QUANTIFIED (it will never be, and you know why)
11) The Thorn software is literally perfect - plus it actually has software
12) The skates on the Thorn are actually good skates how can Zowie not even put on top quality skates LMFAO SERIOUSLY??????
12) I don't even know how to be more insulted by the price they are charging when I paid £88 DELIVERED for my Thorn.
13) Oh.... My.... NO NO NO The ECX-CW is worth £59.99 in 2024 and not a PENNY MORE.
You may consider this an angry rant at Zowie AND any one who does not call them out for this GARBAGE - I am absolutely stunned at how anti-consumer and disgustingly over priced Zowie products are (don't get me started on the GSR2) any youtuber who does not trash this product (at it's current price) is not to be trusted.
EDIT the scroll click on the Zowie is SO BAD that I have had to actually rebind it and just stop trying to use it, honestly anybody not calling Zowie out for such a trash product is absolutely an enemy of consumers.
OK mouse for £59.99 though.
200 for me and shipping probs ~$30 hell no
190€ for 2019 hardware no thanks
I'm too bad at gaming and too poor to appreciate this mouse.
150 bucks for a mouse with PAW3370 no thanks LMAO
If you think it's overpriced that's fair but I personally wouldn't base my buying decision on the 3370 vs the 3395. It would change absolutely nothing about the mouse.
@@DatGoodSir maybe go check out Vaxee's new wireless mouse , but after all it's my personal preference
@@DatGoodSir It's worth £69.99 AT MOST. ONLY then is it a 'decent' mouse in 2023. 100% agree 3370 is absolutely fine though.
Im sueing
Hello fellow good sir 😂
Just a friendly reminder: EC stands for Emil "HeatoN" Christensen!!
Great review. Zowie (and Vaxee) need to consider going less than 65 g for your mice. Take a look how now many people and pros alike are maining the GPX/Vv2Pro/DAv3
I would absolutely love a
i wonder who tells you, you can play better with
@@DikmenAlparslan I'm radiant in valorant and 0.1% kovaaks aimer so 65g lower is better.
@@DikmenAlparslan Basic physics do. With less weight you achieve: Less strain on your palm/wrist, better stopping/starting ability, less fatigue over time under longer gaming sessions and most importantly a lighter mouse will improve accuracy while gaming. BASIC PHYSICS OVERALL
@@Divinity_vA actual pros can still destroy you with a brick with your so called "pro-level" aim
Quick, straight to the point, and great mixture of gameplay and footage of the mouse. Great review!
Thanks I glad you liked it.

Great review. Just wondering how your still liking the Cerapad KIN mousepad?
@@SpideyDiG Thank you! It's still my main pad at the moment :D
Can this mouse actually drag click? Thanks
In UK it will cost 170 pounds so it is around 205 Dollars
Your channel is criminally underrated. Great review! Keep up the great work!
Hope they come out with a wireless FK series mouse. Would love to relate to that nostalgic feeling!
Thank you! I really appreciate it. I'm sure they'll eventually release one for every shape they have. :D I'm waiting for an S1 wireless myself haha
Zowie seems to be apple of the mouse world, find something safe and that works, stick to it and tinker very little after. Use to game a ec2 and fk1 did really enjoy it but considering the price and the weight, i prefer lighter mice now as many options are available in the current landscape. I will skip this series of mice.
r/mousereview when they see a person buy a mouse based on their shape and not by their sensors, clicks, and weight: wait that's illegal
Haha
This mouse is great in every aspect except weight
I got the EC1-C light with paracord and I love it but 100€ more for wireless? Just WHAT? I will continue using that mouse since I wouldn't notice any difference in game and I could buy it but no, thanks. I will get good skates for my EC1 but for that price I get a Finalmouse on the aftermarket. NEVER worth above 120€ so I hope they fail hard because the weight and pricing is a joke.
It's really up to you but yeah if you're already happy with it wired why switch?
Was it 12 days of battery with you turning the mouse off when not using it or leaving it on? Does the mouse go into a low power mode like Logitech does when idle?
Great question. I purposely left it on to see how long it would last. And I believe it does go into a power saving mode after a certain amount of time.
“Just 80 grams”? Bruh there are a lot of sub-70 gram wireless mice for half of that price.
None are as big as the ec1. Maybe the xlite v3 large will shake that up, but for now you have to go to 3d prints for something like that.
@@bokunorainbow58 EC1 is the exception here. Large Xlite has the same dimensions with EC2 and is better in every way.
@@Koffiato the video you're quoting is specifically about the ec1.
Not to mention no wireless ec clone under 90g has good clicks or coating.
your hands are shaky as hell. seeing doctor would be good idea
Noted
your hands shake like crazy
Haha yeah I didn't eat anything when I filmed this. I was also sitting at a weird angle trying to reach my arm around my tripod. 😅
