    Hi, can someone explain the use of 2 Noise Gates please. I see the 4-cable method is not being used with the NS-2 so I imagine that is somehow tied to why there are 2 gates, but can't really see how they may be connected to each other or if at all. All I know is if I hook up my NS-2 like that it works quite poorly

      my guess is one goes in the front of the amp and the other into the effects loop (one of suffocation's guitarists does this)

      i use the 4 cable method with my NS-2 and it works great but doesn’t give you a whole lot of flexibility in terms of adjusting the threshold for the input vs the fx loop. the decimator is more of a set it and forget it kind of pedal so i’m sure it works better in the FX loop to get rid of that high-gain hum and noise without needing to mess with it too much.

    I see that Mr Rackman built his pedalboard. I wonder if Tony Blair was involved as well?

    Who is the drummer? Why does Devourment has all new line-up? Haha wtf??

      @Juan-rd5jf Год назад +7

      They had to hire a new guitarist and singer for the tour cause chris couldnt make it cause of his cancer treatment, and i cant recall why ruben couldnt make it. The drummer was probably a special guest for that show, i saw them on this tour and brad is still the drummer and dave is still on bass

      На видео барабанщик Extermination Dismemberment, они откатали тур по Штатам вместе, у Devourment на всём туре на барабанах был Брэд.
      Чо там, у тебя какие-нибудь новые проекты планируются?

    wow compressing and already super compressed amp, using 2 different eq’s on an amp that doesn’t need eq’ing. i saw them live a few times with this lineup and they sound fucking terrible, especially the guitar.

      You should upload a video of your band and show them how it's done.

    How does that even cut through, his sound is scooped to fuck. He's scooping mids on the pre amp, and then scooping some more with a graphic EQ in the loop. With all that gain and tuned down to E flat an octave down that has to be impossible to mix, I feel sorry for the sound engineer.

      I think thats how they got the sound for the new babykiller song. Guitars sound really hissy.
