Bass theory - playing Major over minor

  • DISCLAIMER! This is not a how to play lesson, but a lesson how to rethink scales, so there are NO breakdown/play slow sections.
    I can play the Major scale pretty well, so when playing in a minor key, I tend to play the relative
    Major scale, found a minor third or 3 half steps above the minor key (B minor to D Major in the example) Its the same notes, but it sounds a bit different since we are not focusing on the root B so much when thinking/playing D Major.

    Sound is a bit compressed overall, but Im experimenting trying to get a higher output for RUclips videos

    Sound was captured on a Zoom Q3HD
    Audio and video was synced post in Adobe Premiere
