  • The Stockton City Council and city staff discussed during Wednesday's meeting what future steps the city will take to ensure they comply with their homeless encampment policies following the Supreme Court ruling on the matter.

    24 billion in 5 years works out to 130k per homeless person spent with no improvement. If that’s not definition of failure I dunno what is

      Seriously. I’m a native California resident. On SSA.
      I can’t afford rent. So I live in an rv. I bag my trash and dump it. If asked to move? By anyone? I’m gone.
      No drugs. No guests. Just an old crippled up man trying to get by.
      $6 gas? And grocery price increases? I’m having trouble keeping current anyway.
      If I got $25k ? I’d be in a red state in a fixer upper.
      I’d be in heaven.

      Well that money all goes to salaries of the NGO grifters and their committees where they talk about solving problems while on lavish retreats eating Michelin star food and galavanting shamelessly when not lounging in their million dollar home the tax payers bought for them
