Prithviraja III, popularly known as Prithviraj Chauhan or Rai Pithora was a king from the Chahamana (Chauhan) dynasty. He ruled Sapadalaksha, the traditional Chahamana territory, in present-day north-western India. He controlled much of the present-day Rajasthan, Haryana, and Delhi; and some parts of Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. His capital was located at Ajayameru (modern Ajmer).

@@indianspartan8181 how jaichand was an enemy, the myth of jaichand is popularised by certain people to put the blame of sufferings of Indians on Indians and give a clean chit to any foreign invader, and they are so popularised that it is normal for any Indian to say Ghori me kaha dum tha hum harey Jaichand ki wajah se, but the truth is Ghori figured out Rajputs don't attack in night so they conducted a night raid and won half of the war before the sunrise and before Indian Soldiers could realise what was happening. But even then they put up a very strong fight and inflicted heavy damages. And yes Jaichand didn't came to help him but the reason is still not known, whether Prithviraj approached Jaichand or not is also not clear, they had territorial disputes, they didn't knew the enemy they were facing, if they had known they definitely would have allied, and one year is a very less time to forge strong alliances and keep aside differences. So in short Jaichand was not an enemy, traitor or any less hindu compared to Prithviraj as popularised today, he was just another king involved with his own affairs and trying to keep his kingdom safe from expanding Chauhan Kingdom. It was Raja Jaichand who built the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya and even after loosing to Ghori he managed to protect Varanasi, Kannauj and few parts of his kingdom which was eventually lost later.

Battle of Kayadara happened in mount Abu- Rajasthan before his battle with Chauhan between Ghori & Rani Naiki Devi to defend Somnath, Ghori faced defeat but they let him get away following their ‘principles of war’

There were a lot of Hindu Kingdoms at that time which always fights each other and that resulted in the Invaders to invade India.
History must be tell unbiased and the reality is that Prithviraj's stupid passion and later kidnapping of Jaichand's daughter lead the downfall of Rajputs while Mohammed Ghouri was a brave invader as well who never gave up and ultimately won.
Mohammad gauri is not brave. He attack at night in the 2nd battle of tarrain.
