What’s your talent? Dude: drifting any types of cars such as automatic cars for example and demonstrating how to drift while focusing on drifting. (999iq)
You mean his talent is his driving technique where the driver intentionally oversteers, with loss of traction in the rear wheels or all tires, while maintaining control and driving the car through the entirety of a corner
This is actually really cool and helpful. I dont have full movement in my left leg so i cant drive stick. Knowing you can do the same things in a automatic as a standard is awesome.
The Tesla model 3s are the best automatic drift car, since if you need more throttle you just push down further instead of having to wait for the shift.

Shane Goomasy well maybe for me. I play the drums with a double bass drum so I got two pedals for one drum. then again, it's a drum pedal not a stiff car pedal.
As a horse person, this makes perfect sense to me. The way you explain it make the think that drifting is pretty much leg yielding a car (a movment in which the horse moves its body at an angle along a line and crosses its legs). Counter-steering also sounds quite familiar. Autocrossing and drifting are among the few motorsports I feel like I can actually understand.
You have to have balls and stay in it. Worst case you spin out or mow some grass or rub some body work. Suddenly letting off the throttle ,panicking turning in and gaining sudden traction can flip you. Especially if you roll the tires under the rim. There's a video with jay Leno and Bobby Sox where they flip a gasser on its roof. It's an exaggerated example but you'll see where he goofed and flipped it.
this would have been helpful exactly one month ago, took a stock p71 crown vic to a drift even and owned it until i smoked out 1st and 2nd gears. watching this vid is making me wonder what its going to be like when my stick swap is done.

I don't even think he came for the car meet, I think he just saw us drifting and joined us a bit.
Thanks for the video... I’m finishing a build on a 68 firebird with auto. I was debating some drift action so this was helpful in deciding. Ima go look at ur other videos...👍🏼
I wish you told what kind of damage you should expect for the car when you press both brake and gas pedals at the same time to do burnouts. You can obviously do slow speed drifting with that technique, too, but you'll overheat your brakes and tires pretty fast. In addition, you have to be careful not to overheat your torque converter. And if you don't have old style automatic gearbox with torque converter but robotic gearbox, do not try pressing both brake and gas pedals to do burnout unless you want a clutch repair project, too. Obviously, any technique you use, the tires are gone after you start doing burnouts or drifting.
No fucking shit it's gonna wear your brakes out. He said it himself the brakes are actively working against the transmission in an auto because you can't clutch in

My experience is, If you rally a car, you will break it. If you drift a car, you will break it. If you drag a car, you will break it.... I expect to have to repair stuff if I’m going to push performance limits, especially if I’m beating up on stock iron... Chelsea DeNofa I've heard the new stangs have some kind of adaptive electric steering that keeps it from self steering quick enough to catch up with the rear end. Is that true or is it all in the transmission?

your handbrake is a pedal? I feel like it's more easier to drift it because you can use both your hands on the wheel and makes it less uncomfortable.
