I feel like even on tiny continents there's still a pretty large luck factor. You said it yourself, the first person kinda got screwed by world generation.
When discussing Tiny as a map type, it's important to understand the differences in balance across maps. Tiny continents is more balanced than Tiny drylands because there are fewer places for villages to spawn, but 6-7 villages still need to spawn on the map, so there are fewer village gaps. This increases host advantage but is still better than tiny drylands, where village gaps (areas where a village could spawn but doesn't due to imperfect village generation) are much more prevalent and lead to completely unwinnable spawns far more often.
Why dont you play more against the pro players and show us the mistakes you make, and how to fix them? I find those videos most helpful as they also shows us a more real side of things rather then playing against random perhaps more casual players.
@@joeschroedernz I have nothing against casual players and their needs being met with this video, I was just expressing what I think we would also like to see. There is not enough pro gameplay to go around in this community and he has deliver on that request in the past since he is the one that has access to that side of the community. We just want to learn more from advanced players, crushing people in casual matchmaking isnt that interesting.
@@AyanKhan-ge4fp What part of 1500 in the in game matchmaking doesnt make you a pro dont you understand? End of my further discussion, everything is clearly said in my statements. You dont have to agree, I dont care.
Hey I came up with a challenge idea that I thought would be interesting to try out: You can only interact with tiles that have a friendly unit on it. You can place one port anywhere you want and after that have to have a boat in the spot (or just play drylands).
I think small continents could be better because of the cymanti players can on tiny map have the explorer at start and just destroy you with hexapods in the small map you could get more time to train more units and counter em
Copy the chess youtubers and do more analysis videos, because watching you make mistakes live is boring but watching you dissect your mistakes post-game in detail is not only entertaining, but educational.
Umm, 3 games and 3 iffy spawns…I dunno. Ok, tried it out and so far so good (5 games). As Gully said, super tactical…gotta think about every square. I’d really call these training games.
7:57 that shows how cimanty are too powerful , last game he got a better spawn than his cimanty opponent but in 7:57 they were equal and he lost because they are insane on every type of maps , drylans , big maps , small maps and continents, but if you play big map maybe ilyrion gonna beat them, because on big maps you have enough time to rise a dragon, which deadly vs centipides and other units
Did inno tell you that? Also I would only consider tiny continents to be the best map type when you play with agreed mirrored tribes. The reason why tiny continents is so good in the first place is because it allows you to develop your skill with every tribe really fast. But with online matches, its just either E, C or B
Teach me easy way to attack enemy's city and take it please 🙏. I'm sure it gonna help other new players as well. And I also subscribe to your channel 😄.
Dude...they already nerfed them to the ground, from their economy to their units. Let them live, if anything they need to nerf the turn 0 units, or change the meta to favour some other tribes. I hope the new special tribe brings some combos against the bardur and such
This is in fact a Bardur only household.

Every game looked unbalanced.
He said it was the most balance, but all he did was show how not balanced it is

@@Nemanjaftn I mean it's higher than the rating of gully, so he's playing against tougher opponents now.

YESSS!!! LET'S GOOOO!!
The secret is out, the game is made better, fantastic video!
The thing with tiny continents is that (no island spawns usually, and) every turn matters.
I love your videos. The 900 tile maps are my favorite. Keep up the great videos :D
If you have a unit selected and hold down on another unit you can see how much damage they will do to each other
tiny water world was fun, highly recommend it
I don't play polytopia much anymore, but I still love your content😁

Can you consider doing a 900 tile map once or twice? Love the video :)
5:25 thanks 🙏
There is no wiki page of it so this will be great.
Hey great vid you should do a vid on a tiny 9 bot map - it's chaotic
I feel like "Playing Cymanti, oh my gosh these nerds" only applies if you're not playing Bardur.

Challenge for you:
Archipelago
Snall Map
9 opponents
Crazy Mode
Play as Icey Bois
Disable Quetzali
Love your content plz post more often.
You should do a map tier list video

what’s ECB
I’m guessing cymanti, bardur and what, elyrion?
I think a good player with cymanti on tiny will always win. They use explorer and boost and you just can't get anywhere.
thanks for another amazing polytopia video, could u make a video on push order please? love from germany😀

Woooooooo Let's goooooooooo gulllyyyy
you should not choose resources, take the city wall better, because you can save your city
How i can sign in the polytopia

Play this map type against Vengir!
Hi GullYY!
As a cymanti main I am so very offended by this video smh
I can make an exception for you
tiny continents is pretty good.
Ok, were staying tune for the video about pushes ✌️ Cymanti definitely needs nerf

It's not so great that it depends on spawn you loose or win
gullyy upload??? (real??)
SO real
Cymanti = Cringe
Facts
I approve of this message
imagine paying for tribe dlc
Lakes is best
I hate cymanti man. Stop playing cymanti. Like, let's all pretend like it doesn't exist.
Bada bing bada boom 😂
