Edgeshark: Discover and Capture Container Traffic

This talk presents Siemens Edgeshark, a set of open source services that let you discover the virtual communication of containers, including the Industrial Edge but not limited to it. Either a web UI or a REST API gives insight into container communication, such as IP addresses, routes, DNS configuration, and more. With a single click, you can stream container communication to your Desktop Wireshark, without the need to modify your containers or difficult command lines.
Edgeshark supports various container engines: Docker, containerd, any CRI Event PLEG supporting engine, such as CRI-O, and lately, podman. Edgeshark container images are available for both AMD64 and ARM64.
