My beloved mother wanted to sell a guest bed. A buyer came over to look at the bed and he said: it is embarrassing to buy a bed second hand. My mother answered: no one thinks it is embarrasing to sleep in a hotel bed where hundreds of people have already slept in. The man bought her bed. 👍
thats so true i had no bed im,70 had to sleep on the floor of made sure my grandson had a bed! my neighbor had put a matress set and fram on her lawn with a free sign on it we drug it home a and guys i felt lke a million bucks i was sore sleeping on the floor id actaully cry sonetimes cuz i hurt so much i talked to her afte i took it and i told herhow grateful i was for her bed and she was happy she can help others anyway rheres not one thing using a second hand bed. its better than sleeping on the floor ,!!😅
I stopped going to Goodwill as well as some friends, because they are over priced for donated items while CEO's are getting hefty pay check. Our community gave nice items to another association.
Back in 2021, we bought a van- it was a need with our growing family. We paid nearly half as a down payment, and then paid a few months. Then my grandma died and I got a $10,000 check in the mail. We paid off our van and had a few thousand leftover in the bank. Not having that debt hanging over our heads was amazing.
I don't drive,but if I could I'd buy a second hand van,turn it into a camper..road trips..

This year I got for free immersion blender, hoover, juicer, steamer, double bed wooden frame, 6 floor cushions for improve my sofa. I am so grateful for those people who give things away for free instead of dumping them.
Hubby and I lucked out two days ago. I wanted him to order pizza because we didn’t have one in the freezer. We planned on splurging by getting a two liter of soda and cookies. They had got rid of their delivery drivers and there were no DoorDashers signed up for our area so they couldn’t take our order. Saved us $40 and I ended up cooking a freezer meal.
Homemade pizza costs a fraction of buying. Homemade cookies - you mean having your whole house smell like chocolate and buttery-sugar? No comparison to store bought. Food for thought.
Another great video. My fondest memories are traveling from NYC to Fl with my mom on the Seaboard train in the 50s. She always packed pepper, onion and egg sandwiches. We couldn't afford the dining car. Just survived Hurricane Milton, lost about half my freezer of food. We're alive 130 mph wind and 20 in of rain. I was prepared ahead with plenty of cans, pasta etc.
I’ve seen friends family members buy flat screen televisions when they first come out and were extremely expensive and then cry to parents they don’t have money for milk or diapers. They go on vacation then ask for house payment money. So they’ll blow their own money and then ask for money for necessities. It’s ugly blackmail because the friends don’t want their grandkids to not have milk or diapers.
in our family we brag about how cheap we got got our stuff. my grandfather one time picked a fancy winebottle out of the trash, and then sold it for $10.00.he was a realsellar before that was a thing.37 years ago. love the videos
Oh wow thank you for telling people about second hand. I live in a relatively affluent city, so i get almost everything from thrift stores or from various FB upcycle groups because all the affluent people are giving their things away and im scooping up whatever i need for pennies. Recently got a brand new Instant Pot for free from the upcycle site. I spend a little extra on groceries but the core is with clearance shopping, plus i belong to a FB helping hands page, people with extra food or stuff they can't use, put it onto helping hands and i get free food! Along time ago i was "keeping up with the Jones" type person, no more and i am actually saving money!
I just got a kitchen aid counter top mixer on Facebook for $ 80.00! It's red! and it matches my kitchen! I have been waiting YEARS because I can't afford and don't want to pay the full price for a new on😊
I love how respectful you and Paul are to everyone. You give out great ideas and information, but respect that all of it may not work for everyone. Your approach is so kind and heartfelt. Thanks!
We are ao excited that even with our power cost per unit climbing, we've managed to reduce our power bill by $60/month. We have budget billing, so we pay the same amount monthly. I almost did a cartwheel in the den when I got the notice that our bill was going DOWN effective next month🎉. Thank you Lord for the slow cooker and toaster oven.
And the instant pot! If you have one. It costs about 10% the amount to cook the same meal in the instant pot as in the big oven. Crock pots and toaster ovens fall somewhere in between, so you’re right; they are a great money savers, too! Utilities are real budget breakers in a lot of households now.
Great points, Emmy! One side note...I once ordered a dress online from an overseas company. The price was very affordable, but I forgot to check on their return policy. When it arrived, my "dress" had become a very tacky looking swim suit! There was NO return address provided either. Lesson learned! From now on, I will only buy online from within the states and make sure that the return policy is clearly stated on the website.
Yes! I ordered a clothing item from Amazon and it didn't fit. When I went to return it I realized it had to be sent back to China! Costs was too much to send it back so I will just sell on eBay. Now I rarely buy any clothes on Amazon.
Yes I did the same thing. Many sites especially on Facebook say the item comes from within the states when in reality it is coming from China. They send it to a distribution center in the states but there is no way to do a return.
We will always shop thrift first if we can. I wish my younger self knew I didn't have to buy brand new dishes, linens, etc. When I first moved out and set up house!
I cooked the last 2 zucchini from the garden with some shallots and a red pepper I had frozen along with some Henry’s from the garden. It was a fantastic side to a roasted chicken leg.
I started cooking when I was 12 or 13. Mostly following my mother’s directions which was 10 to 12 servings. There was 7 people in our family. It took me almost 25 years to stop cooking for a small army.
Hi Emmy and Paul. Thank you for sharing your frugal tips. I would like to mention something that just happened less than an hour ago. I was buying a few groceries and thought my bill was more than I expected, and it turns out I was overcharged $14.05 for a small bag of bulk spices; the correct cost came to .45 cents. Thankfully I checked my receipt before leaving the parking lot and staff were quick to fix the error.
I'll never forget the time my sis in law called asking for money because they over spent on Christmas gifts. We rarely, maybe once a year, heard from them. On top of this she knew about a week before we lost our baby. Others have called us to pay for funerals and weddings. 🤦♀️
Oh wow. I’m sorry 😞 I make it a rule to not lend any money. Unfortunately people sometimes treat others as their bank instead of living within their means
We also have had relatives ask to “borrow” money from us in the past, and we would most times help them out….only to never get paid back. We finally decided to just put a stop to it….we started telling them we had our own grandchildren now, we’re saving it for them! People need to learn to live within their means.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your baby. My never heard from sister sent me a letter right after my child was born..it said " I'm pregnant and getting married. Send money to address below" entire letter. I guess we all have " one of those" relatives!
We always have plenty of good pasta, good olive oil. Tomatoes of different varieties. We have lithium batteries, solar panel for our portable freezer. Where we keep our meats that we use for later. All our staples are in water tight containers. We also use both our seperate cards for specials at the food stores.
I've learned to tighten down after months when I have had to spend heavily. I bought a newer car last month with cash after my mechanic advised me my old one was a danger to drive. With that and fall household repairs, having to buy a new wash machine, having had house guests, and unexpected vet bills for my cats, my monthly budget is shot! I paid all my bills but my checking account is really low. No problem...I just won't spend anything for the rest of the month! Other than buying gas for my car ( which I can cover by only driving the absolute minimum) I won't be spending any money...period! I have a well-stocked pantry and freezer so I won't even tempt myself by going to the store. I will focus on other fun household projects using what I have on hand. I don't see it as a hardship but as a fun challenge! I accomplished a lot and now have a reliable car, a house ready for winter weather, clean laundry, healthy kitties and had great visits with my overnight house guests! It was well worth a little belt tightening for the next 16 days!😊❤ I feel blessed!
Thank you for another wonderful video Emmie and Paul. Regarding gift giving: this is something I struggle with. I really hate the obligation to give gifts for holidays. As I've gone through a several years long decluttering journey, I've had a difficult time letting go of things that people have bought for me or made for me, but that I've never liked or used. I appreciate the gesture much more than the gift. I've struggled with how to bring up the subject of "no gifts", or "gifts of experience only". I don't need any more things. If I need something, I save for it and if I still want it, I buy it. I used to shop all year for little thoughtful gifts for people and noticed that they weren't used or needed or wanted. And then I left those people with a burden of decluttering🙃. In our family, we've tried various things: drawing names, doing something as a family, donating in a person's name to a charity, etc. But we've got people in our family whose love language is giving gifts. It's really difficult. I really dread this time of year for that reason😕
Can you return them for cash? It sounds a big ungrateful maybe, I admit. But being burdened with possessions that you don’t want, can’t use, and have to caretake for the rest of your natural life doesn’t sound like it’s generating much gratitude either.
@@trishdonley945 perhaps tell them with everything going on in the world, you really have no need and would prefer no gifts this year. If they insist, then tell them to make a donation to a charity of their choice. We all have too much stuff and a lot of people are in need after all these storms.
Excellent words of wisdom sprinkled with your lovely humour, as usual x Whilst I am here please can I express my thoughts and prayers for all of the people caught up in the recent events of the hurricane? I watched in disbelief from my side of the world and I was devastated for them all. I pray they find the strength to rebuild. Thank you Emmy and Paul ..see you next week! xx
My husband and I recently went through all our monthly expenses and shopped for lower prices on everything. We switched our cell phone carrier, eliminated an extended warranty plan on 2 newer appliances, I switched to husband’s health insurance carrier and we each got 10% discount, lowered our car insurance and got better coverage for our home too, we made real effort to cut our electric bill and last month it was 32% lower than last year! Our highest electric bill this Summer was $260. We have acclimated ourselves to thermostat setting of 79 by using stand up fan and ceiling fan and we run a dehumidifier all Summer. It keeps the air feeling more comfortable on our skin. We were able to apply and get approved for a foundation with Bristol Meyers that pays for my husband’s Eliquis ( saved $1700 a year). I grew up in a family of 7 and learned all about shopping second hand stores, raised my 2 children same way. Thanks for all your suggestions 🙂 8:43
I love how you usually add a cooking tutorial, to each of your videos! Todays video gave me some new ideas, for cooking, frugally. As always, thank you!
I also agree with number 8. My husbands uncle is a retired, childless bachelor. He buys us very expensive Christmas gifts. I used to feel guilty that we couldn't reciprocate. Now I realise we have different financial obligations and circumstances and that's ok.
Lovely sunset at the end. Thank you for sharing your trip. Will have to put this on my girls trip list. Making memories is the best gift. For my older grandchildren, I give them a birthday coupon good for a movie night with Mema. It reminds me of Boldt Castle in Alex Bay. it is on Heart Island in the St. Lawrence River. They are slowly restoring it. Always amazes me to think of them hauling all the building materials and furnishings across the river. Even in the winter.
Wonderful reminders for saving $. What a cool day trip for your son’s belated birthday! How fun! What a great idea. Experiences are better than things any day.
@@hello-vs4me we shop the loss leaders in the grocery ads. We’ve found chicken breast for $1/lb, a dozen eggs for $1.50, and fruit- oh the fruit! Lately grapes have been on sale for 87 cents/lb. I usually get 5-6 lbs, and at the register, I love watching the price go from the initial $16-$18 down to less than $6. 😆
Watching that movie under the stars on that island- I would surely love that. The scenery is beautiful and that was truly a wonderful birthday gift for your son. He will remember this special birthday always. And that sandwich looks so yummy!
Emmy, this was a great video and v timely given the cost of living crisis. A few good reminders in there esp just before Christmas. You are a great presenter - and a great source of information.
What a unique home. Can you imagine living there years ago, how beautiful the views. I want my own island now! Guess that falls into one of your 12 things not to do, covet!
OMG!!!! THOSE SANDWICHES ARE OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! I could almost taste them!!!! Thank you for that recipe! So glad you enjoyed Bannerman's Island! Its an awesome place!! Enjoy this gorgeous weather! Mrs. D. Hudson Valley
Don’t be afraid or ashamed to be honest with your children about the limitations of your budget. I spent a number of years working in the default division of a mortgage company. Our job was to help people get caught up on mortgage payments if they were behind for reasons beyond their control, like illness or job loss. I was shocked by applicants who didn’t pay their mortgage because the had to give their kids a “nice Christmas” or pay for their daughter’s wedding. 😮 I had to explain these are not financial emergencies beyond their control 🤦♀️
Thank you for this great video. Positive message and good reminders! As a former lifetime resident of the Hudson Valley, I was blessed with seeing the Hudson River and Bannerman's Island daily. It is a beautiful area! I appreciate and enjoy your excellent videos. Thank you for sharing!
You have such pretty dishes. Those two over your left shoulder look so pretty. Yellow and orange I think. Always check out your tablecloths to. Yep, I’m nosy.
I bought a bus ticket recently. I qualify for senior rates. Round trip is just 2$. I will be saving money on gas and parking. Both of those together are more than 2$.
The copycat purchases are spot on. I normally don't copy from friends or family, but here comes in the sneaky and repeated ads on Instagram and you end up wanting to buy it. So I got rid of Instagram. No more copycat needless wants. That sandwich looks scrumptious!
Oh my, those sandwiches looked SO delicious! Your trip to the island was such a great idea. It looks quite mystical. I'm sure there's an interesting story there. I'll have to check that out.
What a wonderful video from start to finish Emmy and Paul! Thank you for always blessing everyone with such wise advice each week. I also loved what you did with all those veggies and mozzarella.......how delicious and a great idea. Finally, thank you so much for sharing some clips from your family outing at the end. The Hudson river really did look so beautiful and I was so happy to have been able to see such marvellous views. You both are so thoughtful and your videos are such a joy. Have a wonderful week and may God greatly bless you both too.❤
Learned something new for Albertson's. If you're doing one of their sales, like this week juice was 0.97 for 2 from the 9th to 11th, if you order it during the sale and pay for it then you can pick it up after up to a few days. Context, I ordered Friday, last day of the sale and am picking it up Sunday and am still getting the sale pricing. Their pork and some beef were on sale for 2.99 per pound so I bought some for meal stretching. A local store for us also added a double up program for fresh fruits, fresh veggies and dried beans. Where if you have ebt they'll match you dollar for dollar up to 20 and you'll get a voucher to use there for next time. I'm really excited about it.😊
A few months ago I needed some dried rosemary, but instead of going to Safeway which is in walking distance from house because I would have paid almost $ 8.00 for a small bottle, I took the bus, spent $ 1.40 for the ticket and got the dry rosemary in bulk for $ 0.20. I got even more than what I would have got at Safeway. This week, again I took the bus, paid $ 1.40 for the ticket (I am senior) and got a food saver for $ 10.00 after you talking so much about it, because I just don't want to waste any food anymore and my money 😊
I used Amazon prime day to get a few things I have been needing. They are things that I will use all year long, like medication, hand sanitizer, etc. Got it for a fraction of the price. I will do the same thing with cyber Monday and other times of year, where sales are prevalent.
I do all my Christmas shopping the day after Thanksgiving walmart clothes 50 percent off 200 for Christmas and birthday if see any thing cheap will stock up got t-shirts for 1 doll got 40 tshirts. Got enough t-shirts for 3 to 4 years for 40 dollats
Loved using trains to get from one area to another when I was in Europe. Wished we had easier access in North America. I am lucky to have great public transport in my area and I use it to go downtown instead of paying 30$ in parking and getting frustrated at the traffic!
Hi Emmy & Paul from Nancy in Hatboro,Pa. I just wanted to say u got me with that copycat thing. It’s a little embarrassing. I saw all the beautiful shirts Emmy wears and jewelry so I went a little nuts wanting to buy 5 . I did calm down and bought one shirt. I love it & get compliments. I really couldn’t afford it. I paid on debit card which is good Bad part I paid 30$ for shirt on amazon. Better I found necklace for 3$ at 2nd hand store in town here. I also like to add I have no car and use public transportation. Bus to left of my bldg. Train to right both about a block away walking. I walk to stores here. I picked place I live bc I can walk to stores.produce junction, ezmart,PO,hardware store etc.friend also drives me sometimes. I try and be careful of electric use & cut out paper plates and use way less paper towels. I have rag instead in kitchen. Very good I feel. Cooking one of ur crockpot meals today. Thanks for sharing your experience big help. Big hugs 😊
Second time watching, how did they build such beautiful buildings in those days. Absolutely beautiful and still standing. Homes today are so cookie cutter in appearance and certainly won't be standing 100 years from now.
I’ve never heard of this place. I wish you could share more. That was really a tease! Thanks for the sandwich idea. How I wish I had some of my summer vegetables to make one now! And I had to laugh about spending money to impress someone. I’m impressed when YOU DONT SPEND MONEY! 🤣
Another way to save is using your pay raises to increase your savings accounts. Every time I received a raise, half of it went to savings. First, for 6 months emergency saving account, then a retirement account. I never felt deprieved because I still had half the raise go to daily living expenses. With God smiling on me and this habit, I was able to retire debt free and mortgage free.
A 26 year old friend of my daughter's asks for help with shopping because I have half price taxi card he won't pay his way this will stop yes am saving to be able to go away during heat waves as it's like a furnace in here and I want to downsize our home
100% stopped being an ATM machine for family members. Also love thrift stores but have to be very careful to not buy things I just don't need. What a cool trip. We once went into a Government area where there is an abandoned Lodge (old stone mansion) that they open up once a year for by historical society. I just love things like this.
Emmy that sandwich looked so very good! We cannot eat red peppers, though we love them , so I would substitute portabello mushrooms. Delicious! Hi from MB, SC.😊💕🏝️
Loved your outing video ❤ I take any extra money, raises, extra hours, tax returns, etc. and apply them to our mortgage principle in an effort to 1) pay down our house faster and 2) keep my budget low.

Sometimes Goodwill charges MORE for donated items than buying new items
Yes, their prices have definitely climbed. You need to be diligent about shopping sales as well.

“… a *bit* ungrateful” I meant to say.
@@trishdonley945 perhaps tell them with everything going on in the world, you really have no need and would prefer no gifts this year. If they insist, then tell them to make a donation to a charity of their choice. We all have too much stuff and a lot of people are in need after all these storms.
I do too!
Oh how I understand your dilemma!
Bannerman Island trip sounded so fun. Wow-what a castle! I just read up on the history. I love learning something new.
It was truly amazing🤗
Excellent words of wisdom sprinkled with your lovely humour, as usual x Whilst I am here please can I express my thoughts and prayers for all of the people caught up in the recent events of the hurricane? I watched in disbelief from my side of the world and I was devastated for them all. I pray they find the strength to rebuild. Thank you Emmy and Paul ..see you next week! xx
Absolutely! We pray for them always!
Wonderful! There are always ways to save! Good for you!
I passed this test with a 100% A+. 😂
YAY! Good for you!
I love how you usually add a cooking tutorial, to each of your videos! Todays video gave me some new ideas, for cooking, frugally. As always, thank you!
So glad the video was helpful!
The Veggie sandwiches look yummy! But I do miss the "Paul approve" segment you use to do. Great boat ride. Thanks for sharing.
@katherinerichardson1767 I agree! I love it when he says "Paul approved" . I wonder who came up with that, Emmy or Paul?
LOL! Thank you! I will remind Paul he needs to taste test more!
BHAHAHA!!! Neither, Chris! It was a dear friend of ours that suggested it...wink wink
With ingrained British politeness I don't think I've ever been able to complain about a meal I didn't like 🤦
I also agree with number 8. My husbands uncle is a retired, childless bachelor. He buys us very expensive Christmas gifts. I used to feel guilty that we couldn't reciprocate. Now I realise we have different financial obligations and circumstances and that's ok.
Not that you didn't like it but that it was not cooked the way you asked. I understand though...
@@annelisewhite6244yes, being gracious in receiving is also a gift to the giver in return!
Isn't that the truth! Must have been tough!
I love forward to your videos every week. Your canisters and fall bowls behind you are beautiful ❤
Thank you so much, Susan!
I only want to go to thrift shops! I love supporting local charities.
Me too! And actually, my favourite things are items I have bought there!
We do too!
Wonderful reminders for saving $. What a cool day trip for your son’s belated birthday! How fun! What a great idea. Experiences are better than things any day.
Thanks so much!
Thank you very much for the work and wisdom you share with us in your videos!
So kind, thank you!
The sandwich looks good. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Only buy meat or fruit or vegetables when on sale
So smart!
Yes, we had such a wonderful time!
All brilliant tips, I follow quite a few of these and certainly they are effective. I stick to a strict budget and it works for me. yep. good works.
Thanks!
Emmy, this was a great video and v timely given the cost of living crisis. A few good reminders in there esp just before Christmas. You are a great presenter - and a great source of information.
So kind! Thank you!
What a unique home. Can you imagine living there years ago, how beautiful the views. I want my own island now! Guess that falls into one of your 12 things not to do, covet!
BHAHAHA! I want one too!
Sounds more like inspiration
The sandwiches look delish ❤ thank you!!
Thank you, Emmy, for sharing the Ciabatta Bread recipe! Can't wait to make it! ❤
It was so good!
Can you do some frugal gift basket ideas for the holidays?
That's a fun idea!
I would love to see this too!
Yes! I want to see that!
Thanks Emmy!
YAY! Glad you thought so! Thanks for watching, Mrs. D!
I’m home alone this weekend. I made your yummy sandwich for my dinner. I did add bacon to mine and it was delicious.
Oh bacon! Great idea!
I had to explain these are not financial emergencies beyond their control 🤦♀️
So very true!
I really appreciate your hard work on your videos.
Thank you for the encouragement!
I bike, my husband walks and I use public transportation. Yes, we have cars, but my tax dollars support public transit. Win win!
That's great, Judy!
I made this sandwich today for lunch. So yummy!!! TFS!!
Wonderful! So happy you enjoyed it!
That veggie sandwich looked sooooo good!! Who says you need meat for a great tasting sandwich.
Nice boat ride, sunset pics!
It was magnificent! Thanks!
Beautiful sunset on the island. That is a great gift idea.
Yes it was! We all enjoyed it!
The sandwich looks delicious! The boat trip was fun!
Thanks so much, Beth!
Thank you for the lovely comment! Yes, it is a beautiful area indeed!
You have such pretty dishes. Those two over your left shoulder look so pretty. Yellow and orange I think. Always check out your tablecloths to. Yep, I’m nosy.
Dora, thank you! It's okay to be nosy LOL!
I bought a bus ticket recently. I qualify for senior rates. Round trip is just 2$. I will be saving money on gas and parking. Both of those together are more than 2$.
That's wonderful! Pleases be safe!
@@FrugalMoneySaver thank you.
Great tips. The sandwich looks so good 😊❤😊 The experience looks so awesome. I ❤ gifting experiences & receiving them
We feel the same! Thanks, Cat!
YUM! The veg sandwich looks wonderful.
Thank you 😋
I'm so glad I was able to join your live today. I had fun "chatting" with you as usual! ❤
Always so fun when you show up Chris! Thank you!
The copycat purchases are spot on. I normally don't copy from friends or family, but here comes in the sneaky and repeated ads on Instagram and you end up wanting to buy it. So I got rid of Instagram. No more copycat needless wants. That sandwich looks scrumptious!
YAY! Good for you!
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
I love your unique elevated sandwich idea -- thanks for sharing! 🙂
So welcome!
Oh my, those sandwiches looked SO delicious! Your trip to the island was such a great idea. It looks quite mystical. I'm sure there's an interesting story there. I'll have to check that out.
Yes, it was fascinating!
Have a wonderful week and may God greatly bless you both too.❤
Yvonne, you are always so generous with your kindness! Thank you and God Bless you too!
I'm really excited about it.😊
That's great, Kayla! Thanks for sharing!
That is wonderful! Good for you!
I used Amazon prime day to get a few things I have been needing. They are things that I will use all year long, like medication, hand sanitizer, etc. Got it for a fraction of the price. I will do the same thing with cyber Monday and other times of year, where sales are prevalent.
That's so great!
Love that! That’s smart shopping!
Smart!
What a fun birthday celebration! It looks gorgeous 😍.
Thank you 🤗
fantastic video!! Real, life-changing advise,
Thanks so much!
Loved using trains to get from one area to another when I was in Europe. Wished we had easier access in North America. I am lucky to have great public transport in my area and I use it to go downtown instead of paying 30$ in parking and getting frustrated at the traffic!
So smart!
I intentionally cook extra so we can have leftovers. Saves time and energy
Yes, that's smart and what I call intended leftovers!
Big hugs 😊
Paper towels are so expensive! A 6 pack of Bounty triple rolls is $27.66 at Walmart in Massachusetts!
Big Hug right back, Nancy! Thank you for the compliment!
What a fun birthday experience!!!
Yes, experiences and making memories are the best gifts!
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching, Sheryl!

Wow, what a packed video. Thank you!
So welcome! Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous sandwich and great idea. Thank you!
Thanks so much! 😊
Nice picture of you two..thank you for the nice video
Thank you too for watching!
Second time watching, how did they build such beautiful buildings in those days. Absolutely beautiful and still standing. Homes today are so cookie cutter in appearance and certainly won't be standing 100 years from now.
So true! It was such a magical little island!
I always love your recipes please do more 😊
We have 100's and 100's of recipes on our home page on RUclips at Frugal Money Saver.
I am vegan so the recipe for the veggie sandwiches with vegan cheese is BOMB! Thanks for the idea!
YAY! So glad it was helpful!
I think you guys do such a great job. I really take your tips to heart.
Michelle, that means a lot to us!
Loved your video of the island excursion. It looked to be a beautiful day and lovely site seeing ❤
Thanks so much, Jill!
I’ve never heard of this place. I wish you could share more. That was really a tease! Thanks for the sandwich idea. How I wish I had some of my summer vegetables to make one now! And I had to laugh about spending money to impress someone. I’m impressed when YOU DONT SPEND MONEY! 🤣
We are impressed when people spend less too lol!
Wonderful video!! I love how the two of you carefully curate your life together. Is that Paul's guitar playing at the end?? It's very nice.
No, it's not lol!
Your adventure sounds so fun! What a great birthday gift.
It was wonderful!
How wonderful! Good for you!
You gave me an idea for supper tonight. Thanks 😊
Wonderful! Thanks for watching!
I had to close my personal ATM. The borrower was spending their money on their wants, then asking for money to pay for their needs.
I am sorry...
Love your kitchen background Thank you 👍
Thank you!
Beautiful….that sandwich is something I would love 😊❤️
Francine, it was so yummy!
We do too! Thank you!
Sandwhich looks absolutely delicious . My type of food .
So good!
Emmy that sandwich looked so very good! We cannot eat red peppers, though we love them , so I would substitute portabello mushrooms. Delicious! Hi from MB, SC.😊💕🏝️
Sounds great!
Loved your outing video ❤ I take any extra money, raises, extra hours, tax returns, etc. and apply them to our mortgage principle in an effort to 1) pay down our house faster and 2) keep my budget low.
YES! So very smart!
I did the Bannerman Island tour a few years ago. It was great. I did not get to see Hocus Pocus though. What fun you guys had.
Yes, it was so magical!
