hydrogen can be made on board the car, truck ect, a coil in a water tank has been used for 30 + years, the charging system on the car can provide the power needed to produce hydrogen on board, no need to fill from hydrogen tanks, just top up the water tank. i have seen this on running cars. hydrogen is very high octane levels, cars go very well on hydrogen, this is fact, i have seen it 1st hand.
Toyota already has a working prototype
In order to disrupt an industry such as oil, there needs to be a very powerful (rich) innovator like musk to overthrow the oil cartel. He thinks it can be done.

Yep Honda have one it was on top gear years ago. It was only available in Japan I think. I drove hgvs with a hydrogen engine so the technology already is out there .
